Exceptionally accommodating and friendly staff! Great location! Nice, clean hotel lobby! Room was very clean and offered amenities we've grown to expect! Highly recommended!! Location tucked away from the rat race that is known to be the DC beltway!!

Pretty good. I just had issue with the desk attendant not knowing how to split the payment for me. I knee it could be done because I usually go on trips with family and we do it all the time. She did not understand what I wanted at first. But other than that my bed was fluffy and awesome. Room was huge.

We opted to stay at this hotel as it was equidistant to downtown DC and downtown Baltimore. It was priced fairly at $200 a night for the city. I'm not sure how old it is but our guest room seemed older, dated and had dirty carpet. The staff was acceptable. We were very disappointed to find out that the pool was only open certain hours. Nothing like starting your day at 7:30 am with a crying six year old because the pool doesn't open for hours and you will be gone by then.

We spent two nights at the Hilton Garden Inn. We attended UMD graduation. The hotel was very convenient and much cleaner than the choices on route 1 in college park. I would like to give the hotel 3 1/2 stars but tripadvisor does not have this option. It's not quite a 4 star but better than a three. One drawback was the price as it was a busy time of year and more pricey then you would expect. We had a large two room suite. I agree with some other reviews, there are few towels and the toilet... I have stayed at this hotel in the past, however this time was probably the worst. There must have been a large group of people staying at the property and they held a party until after 11 PM with extremely loud, thumping music and then people running up and down hallways. Decent hotel and decent staff but being someone who rises early this was not a pleasant stay and will choose another property the next time I am in the area.

Made reservation nearly a week before on booking.com. Showed up to check-in at almost 4pm. Our room was not ready. Housekeeping hadn't gotten to it yet. The Hispanic clerk with blue contacts was extremely rude. She did not apologize. She told us we could have a seat. I didn't pay $150/night to be treated like a child. I asked for a top floor room. She said they were all taken. We had to settle for a first floor room. When we got to the room it was hastily thrown together. Little sam... Read more

We had a great stay. The only problems we had were with house keeping not refilling the shampoo, conditioner & toilet paper. Had to ask for more. Other than that we had a. Great stay. Wish the breakfast had been complimentary. It was too pricy for us to eat it.

I booked a room at this Garden Inn for 2 nights to do a day long training in one of there conference rooms. I arrived at 2:30 and was told my room was not ready and check inn time is 3 and to come back at 3. I'm Hilton Gold so I figured they had no rooms clean at this time. I came back at 3:10 and they ended up changing my assigned room to another one because I guess my room still was not ready. I don't see why they couldn't have done this at 2:30. They also had a problem locating 2 boxes shippe... Read more

Never again! The front desk staff is rude, lazy and unprofessional. I booked my room through Hilton.com because they were offering a 20% discount on the room rates. Upon arrival, I was told that they didnt have to honor the discount and said that I owed more on my room. The manger along with some guy proceed to argue with me about the difference in rates. My stay here was horrible. Do yourself a favor and stay at the Marriott across the street

The staff makes it close to wonderful. Upon arrival, there were some problems with a group rooming list. The staff worked diligently to correct the situation satisfactorily. The group breakfast which was situated in the hotel dining facility offered a good variety and was well presented in a buffet which was open not only for the groups but for hotel patrons also. No cause for alarm because the youngsters were seated in a separate section of the restaurant making it nice for both the regular gue... Read more

The hotel has gorgeous decor, a very helpful staff, clean rooms, and a reasonable price based on the location. The only downside was the bed and the pillows. I couldn't seem to get a restful sleep with them for some reason.

The Shuttle service is terrible and so is the food. If you are a government employee, stay at a hotel with more reliable shuttle service (with longer hours). The shuttle does not run on Sundays, only part of the day hours and stops at 7:00 pm. The food at the breakfast buffet is dried out and tastes awful (plus it is expensive for what you get). The dinner is no better.

Given a room that was occupied, when returned to the desk, there was zero concern to get me another room. Only confusion as to who was there. I repeatedly asked to just get another room. It took them 15 minutes, even stated that they couldn't get another room until they confirmed someone was in there!

I received an e-mail asking me to select my room which I did. When I arrived my reserved room was no longer available. What was the point of spending 10 minutes selecting my room. The first room I was given was handicapped accessible, had badly stained carpets, a broken closet door and badly in need of an upgrade. The second room was somewhat better, however, later that evening I discovered it was infested with ants. We tried to get breakfast the next morning. There was a buffet and about ... Read more

I'll make this simple. Cleanliness of the room was fine - top to bottom. Check-in was easy as I had already done it via the Hilton app. The check-out was very smooth - actually the midnight shift FD lady was EXTREMELY courteous (probably the highlight of our stay). She should put on a course for all late shift staff on how to act - big props to her. BUT... the room had not had the AC on. Not only did that make the room overly warm - it was a bit damp for me. I'm asthmatic. So that littl... Read more

The front desk service is fast, friendly, and helpful. Everyone always was happy to help in any way they could. Lots of parking and super convenient to the expressways in this area of northeastern suburban DC. This hotel is located just minutes from College Park or Goddard. Overall stay was okay. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. I checked into the first room, and encountered an ant issue. The hotel staff was accommodating and moved me promptly. The second room smelled of mildew and was not clean. I dealt with the issues in the second room since it was only a two night stay. I didn't want to bother the staff again. I probably should have informed them. I will not stay here again until the rooms are updated.

My husband and I had a nice stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Greenbelt. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming upon our arrival and throughout our stay. The lobby is considerably more modern than the rooms which are of standard variety but spacious. The private parking lot and free parking was an added bonus especially considering the other hotels we researched.

Great hotel from lobby to room. The staff is helpful and welcoming. I checked in late and it was nice to see a smiling face. The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. I probably should have asked for an additional pillow or two - but that's on me. LOL I'm a pillow-phile. This hotel is located near a TGI Fridays that hosts a bike night every Wednesday. The bikers seem to believe that revving their engines at full throttle and racing up and down the roads is all in good fun. To the detriment of anyone staying in a room in the front of the building the bikers might as well be in your room. I debated on writing a review based on my experience, thinking it was a one time experience, but after reading reviews I see that it they are an every day occurrence at this hotel. Upon arriving at hotel I had a lengthy wait along with other guests. An issue with a large group was occupying the ONE front desk clerk. While traveling throughout Virginia, Maryland and DC, we stayed in an enormous suite in this hotel. While the lobby was quite nice, the room was beyond disappointing. After arriving late at night, I settled all three of my kids into bed and realized that the smoke detector had been removed from the room. One of the best hotel we have stayed in and it's all due to the staff. Everyone was just great. All of the employees have taken ownership, not only of their job, but of everything there to make our stay worth talking about. This site should be a training site for all of Hiltons staff. We will be back.
