I've been staying at the Kent Island HGI from the very first month it opened. It's right on the water at Wells Cove, a quick hour plus getaway from DC. Staff is always welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Rooms are clean, warm feeling, and smell great. I will continue to return many times

We were totally impressed with this hotel. The welcome was genuine and the desk clerk was very eager to help us find a suitable place to eat. Our room was large with a great view of the marina and surrounding area. Especially nice is the in room Kurig coffee maker with a nice selection of pods. All of the expected amenities were in the room. Lovely eateries are within walking distance of the hotel making this a notable overnight stop.

First time staying here but not our last. We normally just drive down for lunch, fill up on crabs; turn around for the drive home. We decided to extend this trip to overnight. Found the Jetty and then the Hilton. Bingo, match made in heaven. Great room and great food at the Jetty. Husband has a disability, we got an accessible room which was huge with a great view. Very comfortable beds which is a plus in my book. Very clean, great staff at the front desk. And within walking distance t... Read more

I was surprised to find this available last minute and so glad we did. Our 5th floor room facing the water and just above The Jetty was great. We just wanted a relaxing weekend and that's exactly what we got. Restaurants are within walking distance and The Jetty dock bar provided entertainment nightly. The staff was good with no complaints at all. Would definitely return again.

Neighboring restaurant can get a little out of hand with the wannabe bikers/weekend boozers. Huh 92 characters about the crappie restaurant. HGI responded by hiring security. Hurray! The JR suite Bayfront is really nice. Try the weekend breakfast, the chef is wicked good.

For years I would drive by this area and mention that I really want to stay in thus hotel. Last night we did exactly that! We stayed for my husbands birthday because we wanted to hang out down at the Jetty Dock Bar and be safe about not driving after having drinks. Let me just say, upon walking in the place blew me away. The hotel was beautifully situated. My one complaint is that the room allows sunlight to enter at a very early hour in the morning thus preventing a good long sleep. If the blinds were to pull all the way across this problem would be avoided.

We were going to a funeral in Rehoboth Beach and instead of dealing with morning rush hour traffic we decided to go half way the night before. Hotel was very nice and the surprise was that they had a loaner wheel chair that we used for my wife who usually just uses a cane but the elevators were at the back of the building and it was so much easier to use the wheelchair. More hotels should have one available. They also have a white noise machine in the room. I guess the traffic on the highway... Read more

The staff is super friendly and represent the Hilton brand and philosophy perfectly. The Jetty bar next door does have live music nightly, but ends at a decent enough hour not to be overly annoying. Hotel was very nice but very busy. Can't schedule last minute unless using Reward points since Hilton hold onto a block of rooms for Rewards members. Stayed here for a romantic weekend away. The hotel itself was just ok. We thought it was a little expensive for what the room was, and for the cost have definitely stayed at nicer places (about $300/night). I stay in this hotel a few times a year and it feels like a second home. The staff are friendly, the shower works well, it is clean, and I can purchase a nice breakfast made to order. I especially like it in the off season as some of the summer crowds visit a local bar and can return rather in a boisterous mood. But I think generally the rooms are well insulated for noise purposes. The Bayfront balconies give a nice view of the water and boats that dock nearby.

hotel location is in an area we enjoy so when found we would be in the area decided to spend the night. The hotel was very bright, clean and tidy. The room was comfortable with expected amenities as well as nice balcony overlooking marina. This provided a much nicer experience than sitting in the room watching television. We did not use food or drink service but there are several bar/restaurants within walking/short driving distance. Overall very pleasant stay.

This place is great. Staff is wonderful. Room is nice but going to be even better since the remodeling plans they have in the works. We are looking forward to the new carpet and furniture they have in their plans. Its right on bay. Got the jetty next door they have bands play there some are excellent. Food usually good just stsy away from any pasta dish really dried out. But if you stay at the hilton garden inn on kent narrow, got to try the room service especially the roasted chicken its soo... We love this hotel, and stay often, always clean, and always a great place to stay. You can walk to 5 great quality restaurants, the view of the bay is to die for. The Pool and Jaccuzzi are worth the price alone. Have stayed here 7 times. One of my favorite places in Maryland

We had a great trip to the Hilton Kent Island. It is a lovely hotel close to Annapolis and Chestertown. Great restaurants are close to the hotel. Our view from the 5th floor of the hotel was fabulous!

The hubby and I wanted a local staycation and choose this place because of the scenic view, gorgeous views of the water, location--just 10 minutes from Annapolis and less than 1 hour from our home, and Hilton brand to use our points. The hotel lobby is pretty, the interior corridor is a bit dated and the rooms seem a bit dated as well. We were originally placed in a double queen suite on the second floor but asked for a king suite. We got a room within 10 minutes on the first floor. The view c... Read more

Checkin was super easy, we used the app and as Hilton Honors Members, a cute bag with complimentary waters to take to the room was provided. Super friendly and kind staff. Also, complimentary parking was nice, and nearby attractions make it perfect.

We had checked into another hotel which turned out to be not up to par. So we walked over to the HGI and spoke with Shanetta who was very friendly and helpful. She held the room while we went back to the original hotel to get a refund. I love being a HH member because I feel that staff goes out of their way to be accommodating. It was a typical HGI room which means clean, with all the necessary amenities: comfy beds with cotton sheets and comforter, good water pressure in shower, single cup Keur... Read more

The Hilton Garden Inn in Kent is a great place to stay, even off season. Great views of the harbor. Wonderful restaurants close by, in fact within walking distance. I only wish that I could have stayed in peek season, as I believe it would have been even more fun!

My husband and I have long been Hilton hotel fans and have stayed in many of them including this one on prior occasions. But this visit was disappointing to say the least. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and, after leaving our suite by about 1 PM on Thanksgiving day, we returned late that night to find that the suite had not been cleaned at all - the beds were not made, the towels were not replaced, nor were the normal amenities (coffee pods, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc.). I had t... Read more

The front desk staff acted more like a concierge! They searched details for area activities my family wanted to do. They went above and beyond. The cookies in the lobby was awesome. The room was right on the bay- great view!

WE wanted to go somewhere close, yet completely off the beaten path, so we drove less than an hour to this little gem of a hotel on Kent Island. Our suite overlooked the water and we had beautiful weather, fabulous sunsets and great walks on the Cross Island Trail. Dinner both nights at two different restaurants was excellent and the entire staff at the hotel were outstanding!! Our room was cozy, the housekeeping staff were perfect and the breakfast was delicious. Both the front desk staff a... Read more

I give this hotel two thumbs up! The view is amazing and the people try to please! The rooms facing the bay are a must! The one drawback was the noisy bar/grill off to the Bay side. But they give you ear plugs for those that need it. I will be staying here about a week!
