The Hotel is a bit dated, especially the common areas, like the elevator. Room is fine. Bar area is OK. Food at the restaurant was good. It's not a bad deal for the price, although the location is not exactly prime.

This Hotel was excellent. I came down for a Bridal Shower. The restaurant food was delicious and the bar/ lounge area was awesome. I definitely would recommend this hotel. Location is ideal as it across from the Mall.

During a two day stay I experienced what I would call "go above the call" at check-in. Have a 5:30 business meeting I arrived tired and hungry having been caught on I-495 at rush hour. Sheila at the front desk calmed me down and arranged a great dinner even though the kitchen was closed. Now that's customer service! I just wish the stained on the carpet and furniture could be removed.

I recently stayed at this hotel with some colleagues for a business trip. Finding the place at night was a bit tough. Figuring out where to park was even more confusing. Visited for a Soccer Tournament last weekend and had no choice but to stay here with the team. My room was dirty, crumbs in dresser drawers from previous guest, large spider web inside the room, mildew smell in hallway, desperate need of a thorough vacuuming, and foggy film coated my window. Stayed for the Memorial weekend. Courteous staff, prompt service. Infrastructures a bit worn out but decent enough for a family of six. Our AC did not work on our first night and we were moved the next day to another room. Breakfast staff are very pleasant and attentive to the guests' needs

Check in, check out and all interactions with front desk were great. Friendly, professional staff. Public areas were okay. I stayed in a room on the second floor and this area looks a bit worn. The room was disappointing. While the bedding was comfortable the carpet was visibly stained which put me off. Not the standard I am used to from a Hilton property.

Hilton chain hotels in US have varies standard and service. This is the one considered meeting most expectations for her brand name. If it's a Hilton in Asia, she must be among the best in town but not in US. Room is comfortable and reasonably clean in most aspects. Not very clean. Slow shower drain. Had to request for sofa bed to be made when reservation of 4 was made. Parties 3 floors down were loud late into the night. Slooow elevators (oh my)! Not all ice machines work.

Rooms are small and uncomfortable. They have rugs on floors which is bad for allergy sufferers. Outdated decor. Uncomfortable beds. Bathroom is really small. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Balcony area looks dirty. If you suffer from allergies, this is not a good choice.

Common areas were dirty and did not appear to be cleaned often, at least the floor I was on. A pile of crumbs sat on the floor in the hallway by the wall near my room the entire stay. Remainder of hallway was dirty. Windows by elevator were filthy on the inside. Just did not appear those were priorities for cleaning. Room was great and clean. Towels were amazing. Would stay there again. Staff was incredible. Restaurant and bar staff very amazing and made sure you were taken care of.

We stayed here for a couple nights for Verano Zol. I will say that they staff is great. They are very friendly and courteous and will help you with anything you need. The hotel itself is very outdated and it needs to be renovation from top to bottom. The rooms need serious makeovers and the bathrooms are awful. The vent in the bathroom had what looked to be years of dust and mold build up on it. It was disgusting. The bed was not comfortable and I woke up with a sore hip. Never again.

Quaint hotel but not up to the par of other Hiltons. We had an issue with rooming situation and front staff was not helpful!! Very disappointed. A/C is loud. Showers are good, at least the the corner room of 360. Tour group breakfast was good and the restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. We needed the A/C on in Rockville suites and it was taken care of within 5 mins. The second floor is the lobby level, the 1st floor has the indoor and outdoor pool and the fitness center.

The elevators are extremely slow, morning, noon & night. The ice machines did not work on 2 of 3 floors that I tried. The front desk employee was very accommodating as we checked in. The location of the hotel is very convenient but there is no quick marts near, closest was blocks away.

Was VERY disappointed that the staff gave me room to another guest and recoded my room while I was in it. The double booked guest actually walked in on me as I was exiting the shower!!!! Then about a half hour later, i was called and the person did not identify themself. They just said " Who is in this room?" I later learned that it was someone from the font desk and that they did not actually know who was in the room. UNSATISFACTORY!!!!

I stayed here for four night and first off my one closet door would not open. Then I relaxed that the toilet has to be flushed twice....every time. The coffee maker has to be plugged in and you have to reach behind the dresser for the plug. Also the sugar packets were rock hard. The service is touch and go. Food high priced for the lack of service. Had to wait almost 2 hours for what turned out to be a obviously frozen microwave pizza that was the worst pizza I ever had. The front desk staff was rude and dismissive. My room did have a remote waited or and hour. Staff unfriendly not helpful . I called 6 times. I used the digital check-in and still had to wait for my room to be cleaned after I got there. The AC unit had leaked in my room and then the staff placed two large floor fans to dry it up over several days. The tray for the coffee maker was missing and the shower barely drained. It is by far the worst value hotel I have ever stayed in.

I stayed 4 nights at this property as part of a large group of teenage girls and parents in town for a soccer tournament. Overall, my stay was perfectly fine. Tired, worn out and generally lackluster. And that was just the room. Carpet lifting off the floor, broken lamps, toothpaste smeared on the bathroom walls, busted toilet, and a dodgy bathroom mirror/light that flickered on and off like an 80's horror movie. Well worth the price.

This hotel is on some Boeing Preferred list so I had to stay there. Everything but the hotel itself was very good. Mildew smell in the hallway (1st floor). Food service was lousy: wait staff and kitchen staff took more than 30 minutes to deliver our food during a particualr breakfast. We chose the a la carte menu, but we suspect that the food came from the buffet because of fact that they could not find their cook. Food was cold and rubbery. The experience was horrible.

I regularly come to Gaithersburg on business. I always stay at this Hilton due to location, breakfast, and professionalism of the staff. I can use the shuttle service to get where I need to go, or to the train station. Breakfast is consistently good, and they will make eggs to order. I have noticed that this hotel's desk staff is exceptionally professional, courteous, and helpful. The combination of the location and the well-trained staff make this particular Hilton a very good value.

This was the worst Hilton stay ever. Unforunately, one star is the lowest I can rate it. The only good thing was our room was ready so we were able to check in early. From there, it's all down hill. We arrived here late with a small group touring. The hotel is old and locates next to the main highway and a big retail park. The reception staff definitely lack enthusiasm when asking them questions. The hotel is old and gym is horrible. It does seem to cater for large tour groups quite well. It is also franchised.

The Bathroom was dirty, has a shoe polish bag it it, which had polish on it on the outside. The bathtub had dirt on it. The Carpet was dirty and looked like it had not been vacuumed. Desk had dust and lint on it, needed a dusting and the bed felt as if someone had slept in it before.

The sink backed up while I was there, Rooms smelled, One microwave on the 2nd floor and your on the 12th fl. I was moved to another room and the beds was stained and the comforter had stains on it. I was told they would send someone down to spray some Lysol for the smell. I have never seen this before in a Hilton.

Room was clean and beds very comfortable. Gaithersburg is convenient to all DC attractions as long as you avoid rush hour traffic. Price for hotel was reasonable because I used Hilton Honors points to reduce cost. Full price would not have been affordable for me. Best perk was free parking as no DC hotel has this and Hilton Gaithersburg has nice shopping and restaurants nearby.

Stayed with the kids for a soccer tournament. Tournament organizers had recommended this place. The tournament associated prices were ok. The rooms were very small, cramped, and not in great repair. The staff here is just great!!! I wish I could give them a 4 star or higher but the hotel needs to be updated. The lobby, restaurant and conference rooms are 4 or 5 stars, but the rooms are just not there yet. The hallway carpets are old and worn. If they spent a little money they can clearly be a 4 star.

Poor service, rooms seriously need updating and were noisy. The secondary lock on my door wasn't functional. Staff just performed the bare minimum tasks, didn't offer information nor ask if I was satisfied with my stay. No convenient restaurants in the area but their own restaurant was sorely lacking in service and quality. Not at all what I would expect from a Hilton.

My husband and I arrived from a long day of activities and traveling to be greeted by a friendly front desk worker. The worker could not get our room key to activate and apologized saying her system just went down. She told me someone would let us in the room. Almost Satisfied, But Not Quite. Room Was Suppose To Be King Bed, But It Was Only A Queen Size Bed, I Am Not A Very Happy Guest Because Of That, And That The Ice Machine Was Broken, And I Was Told To Use Another Ice Machine On Another Floor.

The hotel is clean however these staff at check in - and check out. services was short and non responsive. They act as though you are there to annoy them that is how I felt. My family stated that it is the worse Hilton we've stayed in. The room the toilet was broken.

Forced to stay at this hotel for a business meeting. It is far from anything worth seeing or doing. The rooms have probably not changed since the 70's. Food was bland, cold and aweful. Staff knew nothing about the hotel nor the area.

Room was clean, but microwave did not work, iron on last leg, slow drain in tub. Not enough wall plugs with dangerous looking cords put on single outlet. I had to lay my suitcase on floor, little drawer space, just not a well configured room. But it was of decent size. Agree with others that it needs renovation but staff was pleasant and room was fairly quiet.

Terrible Hilton! They don't care if you're diamond or not. Rooms are old and dirty. I don't even think the sheets get changed guest to guest. The shower water is cold in the morning. The staff knows it's bad and they could care less! I will find someplace else next time I'm have to go to that area!

We stayed here for soccer tournament. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The rooms and elevator need some updating. The air conditioner was VERY loud. Overall, a nice stay. Hopefully, they will do the upgrades.

A quick overnight for a business trip (with a group of us), and this was the perfect stay. Fabulous (and fast service) at check in/out; great service at the bar and at breakfast. Fast and easy WiFi throughout the hotel. And a great night's sleep. What more could one ask for? Seriously, I needed to book a hotel because a group of us were meeting at a government site nearby. I would possibly give this hotel lower marks only because it is in need of some updates, as well as more designated dog-walking areas, HOWEVER, I understand they are in the process of renovating, so I'm sure that will improve. In addition, their pet fee is by far the most reasonable in the area and the staff gave us EXCELLENT service during our stay, so I really can't complain.

Staff unhelpful when I complained about smelly room that had doubles instead of king bed. The manager had to intercede to get me a better room (basement first). Restaurant staff was helpful and friendly.

A lot of work needs to be done to bring the building up to speed. The staff was great in assisting me in finding places to good for dinner and other recommendations, but the building needs to be improved and the rooms are not the best, my pillows were too soft, the lights did not work.

My first clue that this place did not live up to the general standard associated with the name Hilton was the dirty carpet stain in the elevator on the way up followed by the other random stains in the halls. Attended a luncheon today for 266 people at the Gaithersburg Hilton. Kudos to the organizers of the event but special thanks to the hotel catering staff. Not easy to serve that many people fairly seamlessly. The food was delicious, served warm to everyone. The vegetarian option, a vegetable napoleon with polenta was surprisingly good and even looked better than the two other options when the dishes were served. Had stayed here before. Quiet room. Comfortable bed. Excellent service. And I fell in love with the woman at the front desk. She was friendly, helpful and cheerful, plus extremely gorgeous. What can I say? I plan to stay here again and possibly proposal the next time.

I stayed at Hilton for a Seminar and the rooms are comfortable, the restaurant breakfast buffet is great, a bit expensive but very good nonetheless. The staff is super nice and helpful. It is a must stay for your business trip!

Very nice hotel. Good conference facilities. Great breakfast. Close to several good food choices (e.g. Panera). Coffee shop in lobby was mediocre and fitness center is tiny, but those were the only drawbacks.

Typically I count on the Hilton name to carry a certain level of quality, clearly this facility missed it. They did a good job welcoming the soccer tournament which my daughter participated in however it could have been SO SO SO much better with just a little effort. The room was clean, but very dated. As a Diamond Member, I stay often at Hilton brand hotels. I must admit this was the most disappointing stay at any Hilton hotel. We had no soap, tissue, shampoo, and linen for our sofa bed. Unfortunately, we did not realize this at the same time. When we needed we discovered it wasn't in our room. Was there for a team event. Service was just okay. We were promised king with a pull out. Some of our rooms were not provided this. No refrigerator in our room. Took quite a few calls to have blankets and pillows sent up for the pull out.

Good, clean, well appointed rooms. My room had a fridge and a microwave, which allowed me to keep milk for the morning coffee. Nice shower. Quiet area and good amenities. The hotel is located in an area that is not terribly attractive, but if your business is at NIST, then you are just around the corner.

I've been here on business multiple times over the last decade. No upgrades and no real changes in quality. The staff tries very hard and the meeting service staff are very accommodating. The rooms are generally clean but outdated. Elevators are slow or non-functional. I seem to never be on a floor with a working ice machine. A local dealership took up most of the parking available for the guests. When I questioned the staff about this they had no explanation. Breakfast was 18 per person. Water was double what it should be.

I stayed at this hotel on a recent business trip. I arrived a few days early to spend the weekend visiting friends and relatives in the area. This is an "acceptable" Hilton hotel. The lobby and most of the ground floor are bright and look like they have been recently renovated. Glad to see when I came back to this hotel they switched up the dinner menu. But Breakfast is still the same and not worth the price. The rooms were clean and this has never been an issue. I would stay again when I'm in town. This is located about 45 minutes from Washington (Monument) DC.

The room was comfortable, breakfast was decent but hotel was too full. Didn't have a room available on my arrival, I had to wait 15 minutes for a clean room. Had issues with a leaking faucet and no parking available on the second day. Finally found a spot after 20 minutes of circling the lot

Hotel has roaches black mold and employees are rude! When I asked to change rooms they acted as though it was an inconvenience for them. I was told if I went to another hotel they would still charge me for the room even though I had just checked in!

I stayed for 4 nights, was sent to the wrong room upon check in and had to lug my bags up and down to find out why the room key would not work, only to find they sent me to the wrong room. Parking lot is filled with new cars bent stored for dealerships taking up more than 2/3 of all the parking, some were located in prime spots that would have been convenient for guests. I'm writing this review because of so many reviews that aren't accurate. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. No issue with parking. The pool was good. The $15 burger was really good and the quesadilla was also. The room was nice and modern. Yes the carpet was a little worn but it's not old or dirty. Excellent staff... great breakfast food. The rooms are large & spotless clean, yet there is no smell of cleaning products (a plus!). Free shuttle service to & from the Metro (go see DC!), and other local locations. Reasonably priced! All in all: we'll be back next year!

My husband and I wanted to stay locally but enjoy a get away. The Gaithersburg Hilton met this desire. Most everyone was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered a great spread! There was a little problem with the server at dinner - not seeming to understand my dietary restrictions. We had a wonderful time in the pool and hot tub and slept very well.
