I stayed at the Hampton Inn, Fruitland for one night while attending the Salisbury U graduation. This seems to be an older Hampton which has had an exterior facelift. The front desk staff were very nice and check in was speedy. The breakfast area was nice and the food was plentiful despite the packed hotel. We had 2 rooms reserved and when we checked in at 3pm and were given keys we found that only one room was ready. Housekeeping was still working on the other rooms in the hall. I figured... Read more

Stayed on 2 occasions -one week apart. There was a roach on the first stay in the bathroom but second stay was fine. AC units turn on and off randomly and the bed pillows are very soft. Too soft. Staff on the first stay were very nice - 2nd stay not so good when checking in - had to wait for someone to check in. We had to call the phone for someone to finally show.

Visited with family and I have to say that the staff was awesome. They spoke everything we walked in and out of the hotel. The room was comfortable and cozy, I loved the duvet that was on the bed. I also loved the complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and tea that's near the elevator. They breakfast was delicious, I made a waffles, with a western omelette and Turkey sausage.

I stayed for two nights for my daughter's graduation and was allowed to extend for an extra night thanks to the generous managers and front desk. Hotel is beautiful- very modern with well maintained spotless rooms. Front desk and maintenance staff is kind, professional, and intelligence. I felt like all staff members cared about me and made my stay fantastic. Even though the hotel seemed sold out all nights I was there, the front desk was still attentive and I had no noise issues. We stayed at the Hampton in Salisbury (Fruitland) MD. The room we were assigned was not satisfactory because the prior occupants had smoked in the room. It is a non-smoking hotel but no matter how many No Smoking signs there are, it seems some people will still smoke in the rooms - the hotel can't control that. What they can control is their response. We called the front desk and the manager on duty took care of it immediately. He said "Stay there. I'll be right up". He brought keys to a differe... Other than the ant problem into the bathroom of the king suite rooms, it was fine, comfortable stay. Didn't get to enjoy the pool or the business room, but did use the gym. Only thing about the gym is it is right off the lobby with a huge window so families can watch you work out.

The hotel was nice and clean, the staff was very courteous, and the room was great. The bed slept very well. This hotel is typical of all the Hampton Inns we have stayed at: clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, etc. However, there was nothing outstanding to make this hotel worthy of the price - approximately $250.
