Basic, average value. Food service staff need some training...and the food quality is less desirable. Don't eat at the hotel. The breakfast service is also poor. They seem shortstaffed. The location is practical. The reception staff were very good.

My mom and I stayed at The Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick, MD Mother's Day weekend and LOVED it. The room was immaculate and spacious, check-in was simple. The staff was amazing, so helpful and friendly. We stayed in Room 126. There was a prom going on in an area very close to our room and when we arrived the hallway outside of our room was practically shaking from the music. Magically, though, as soon as we entered our room the noise vanished. It was SO quiet! We really enjoyed everything about ... Read more

Had two very good nights while in Frederick on business. This is a very typical Hilton Garden layout, but this location is a little nicer than most, with a very friendly desk staff, and very clean throughout. The restaurant's breakfast (which is $12 unless you purchase a package with your room) is outstanding - made to order omelets or eggs, and a limited but nice buffet. I liked that the restaurant/bar has outside seating when the weather allows. The building is set back from the main road s... Read more

This hotel is clean, neat, and well-designed. The staff is smiling and friendly. Internet access was straightforward and the Wi-Fi quick. Would definitely recommend the Hilton Garden Inn to fellow travelers. It's also fairly close to a trendy area in Frederick where there are many interesting restaurants.

Great hotel for daily excursions in the area: battlefields, golf, Frederick shopping. Lots of business travelers, so it's kept very clean and very quiet. Hotel staff were friendly, and accommodations were typical of a Hilton (which is good). Only disappointments were hotel bar closed at 10pm which is too early if you want to hang out in the lobby/bar area and relax with your friends/family after a busy day of events. Pool and hot tub closed too early also. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable stay. Breakfast looked yummy but was too expensive... As a result, no one in our large group chose to eat it.

The hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable. The bed was terrific. Used the exercise room each day and it was small but satisfactory. (it was very busy first thing in the morning, try to go in the afternoon if you can) It is located in a corporate park and not really in comfortable walking distance of the many shops and restaurants nearby because of lack of sidewalks, but a very, very short drive to everything and just a few minutes from the sights and restaurants of Frederick.

We are Hilton Honors Diamond members so we stay at Hilton Garden Inns quite often and this one falls way short. I am not sure whether the horrible bed frames or the front desk attitude is worse. The bed frames are large wooden frames that extend four to six inches beyond the mattress. The rooms are very narrow so you have to pass near the bed to get beyond it. We attended a wedding in Frederick, and this was one hotel booked by the wedding couple. The front desk employees were ok, the room was ok, and the exercise room and pool were nice. Breakfast was not included for us, but there were cookies available the first night we were there. King Room Suite does not have a separate private door and wall. Great for family with 2-year-olds, but not with older kids. Swimming pool is entirely too small for Hilton Garden Inn. Someone on Trip Advisor said the breakfast was great. I guess it could be if you're willing to pay the additional $11.99 per person. Wow. What is the big deal about Hilton Garden Inn? We'll be looking for any other hotels in the future. Prices were too high for virtually nothing special.

Nice hotel and convenient, would definitely stay there again. It was clean and easy to get to, and although it was full they were able to change my room from a king to two beds without an issue. Didn't eat there but food smelled great.

The Frederick Garden Hilton is conveniently located and offers all the amenities one would expect from a Hilton. Every staff member we encountered was extremely courteous and proactive in attending to our needs.

We had a very nice room, clean and very comfortable, we had enough towels and everything we needed for the three days we spent there. The only thing we were surprised of is they wasn't a complementary breakfast that would have been nice.

I chose this hotel because I stayed there once before and the experience was very pleasant I really wanted to go back there. I had a reservation for 5 nights and reached the hotel at about 7:30pm. The staff member was polite thanks me for being a member and gave me 2 bottles of water. He also gave me a Breakfast ticket for one day as last time when I stayed there breakfast was included. Looks at my reservation and mentioned I like low rooms not sure where that came from but ok I have never b... Read more

Nice place to stay convenient location the breakfast was good, the Chef was good but the price was out of normal range. The room was comfortable and clean, although the parking lot was too small for the volume of cars.

While we were disappointed with our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Frederick MD, let me start with some positives. The rooms are very spacious, clean and comfortable. The gentleman who makes the breakfast omelets makes some of the best omelets I've had, although would have liked a few additional options for ingredients perhaps. The hotel is conveniently located. Now for the rest. My husband and I are lifetime diamond Hilton Honors members. As such, we have stayed in many different Hilton... Read more

We used this hotel for all of the out of town guests as well as the rehearsal dinner the night before. It was stressful planning a dinner for 35 people in a place we had never been but the staff made it effortless. All of our questions were answered well in advance, they were SUPER accommodating with adding some guests at literally the last minute, and the food and service at the dinner were superb. Guests were arriving at different times and everyone was able to check in as soon as they arriv... Read more

Rooms were large, clean with great natural light. I like natural light. The front staff appeared tired and burned out, we arrived at 10 pm and would have appreciated a smile and more friendly welcome. That said, there were good restaurants in the vicinity an was a good stay overall.

Stayed at the HGI, Fredrick, MD for two day conference at a local military base. I found the hotel clean and comfortable. The staff was excellent...they treat you with respect and sincerity. They all seem to "like" their job. Digital check-in allows you to select your room (map provided) and walk right from front desk to your room in 30 seconds.

I took a junior suite on a quick business trip and was impressed by the size, 2x large TVs, and complimentary in-room Keurig. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Surprisingly, the hotel restaurant food was outstanding and affordable priced (not something I usually find at hotels).

This hotel was close to family and business for our recent trip to Maryland. The hotel was clean and comfortable, typical of the chain. Breakfast was not included in the price of the room, however. The one downside to the hotel is that there is no door separating the sleeping area from the sitting area. I get up quite early so like to have a separate area so I can have coffee and catch up on the news without waking my husband.

Prepaid online for a really good rate. All aspects of the property were a solid 3 stars with a few upgraded features. Online check in was a plus and any interactions with staff were pleasant and responsive. Will check here first for future visits to the area.
