We stayed at Turf Valley for a conference. The room was dirty (we found a sticky Red Bull can on the heater after openeing the curtains), there was mold on the walls in the hallways and the room smelled of mildew. The rooms are tiny, even for an old hotel. We could barely walk around the beds and the bathroom was too small to even change in. The walls were so thin I could hear the people on BOTH sides (and in the hall) talking, with a white noise generator running. The toilets flushing in the ad... Read more

Stayed here for Irish dance competition and we loved the hotel. We had a king executive room and it was huge- plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids. The indoor pool was much bigger than average hotel pools and very clean. Breakfast was good, but pricey and I would bring my own breakfast stuff next time (in room fridge and microwave). Close to lots of restaurants, take out and grocery stores. Definitely come back for a family weekend.

Stayed for one night with my two children. The room had two full beds that seemed very small. Bedding and general appearance of room was very outdated. Staff were extremely friendly and indoor pool area was fantastic although my kids were disappointed that it closed so early in the evening. Restaurant Alexandria's in the resort was a little overpriced for the quality of food ... it was just ok.

I have been coming to Turf Valley for conferences for years. At one point I would stay in another hotel even though the conference was at Turf Valley because it was so run down. The last 2 years have been better. Maybe because I have made my concerns known to the staff. The rooms I have gotten have been clean, better bed and linens. The exercise room has been the one nice feature over the years. The pool is nice but needs cleaning. The tile in the pool is filthy. The front desk people have be... Read more

Turf Valley is my #1 favorite spa. The Vichy shower is the best experience you can treat yourself to. Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Another added bonus is everything is located in one area...the hotel, restaurant. Indoor pool, steam room and indoor jacuzzi.

The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Most place today, regardless of price seem to always something in th room thats broken, especially in the so-called "boutque " Hotels I have stayed at in NYC and Princeton, NJ. The staff is also competent, which is another nice change. The front desk help was courteous and well informed. I would recommend this to a friend.

The grounds at TV are very nice, with nice resort amenities. The knock are the dated rooms and the decor, plus its a little awkwardly designed. Great place for shooting movies scenes for a 1980s period drama. I was here for about 4 days and ate a lot of the restaurant food (more than I would have preferred). However, it was quite good and some of the better tasting conference fare I have ever had (giving it a bump to four stars). Make the rooms and setting more appealing and you can have somet... We've been holding our annual conference at Turf Valley since 2010 and I couldn't be more pleased with the service that we receive. From the initial stages of working with the Sales Personnel to whip up a contract to the Registration personnel at check-in to the Banquet Manager (Saichol) - all were fantastic. Each was ready to make last minute changes to make our event successful one again. Thank you and I look forward to many more years at TV.

I called to request a possible early check-in for the 24th (Thanksgiving) and the person was very unfriendly and acted as if I was bothering them. We typically stay every Thanksgiving due to the location to family and arrive from out of town around 10:00 AM after a 5 hour drive. While the rooms and d├ęcor have been very tired over the last few years, location was good. Well no more, now we will stay at a Marriott who could not have been nicer on the phone. Sad.

My friend and I planned a girl weekend getaway and I did a lot of research before we chose where we wanted to go. From the moment we arrived I was less than impressed. The staff at the front desk was not friendly or welcoming at all. There were no bell boys to help with our bags and parking was horrible. When we got into our room it was not clean and really nothing to write home about. There was hair in the tub and when we pulled down the blankets on one of the beds there was a stain on sheets ...
