Our stay was terrible. The food at breakfast was the worst I've had at any hotel. Usually Hampton Inn breakfast is good. The toilet in the room didn't work well, no flushing power. The air conditioning unit was so loud we couldn't sleep. Staff was less than pleasant. Poor experience!

This Hampton Inn was wonderful although we were traveling and only needed to stay one night. The desk staff were extremely friendly and helped us with finding a place for dinner. It is located very close to Rt 95 and it was easy to find and get back on the hightway. Our room was immaculate, large TV, and loved the galley kitchenette including a refridge, microwave and sink. The temoerature control worked well, the room was quiet and had adequate blackout curtains. The complimentary breakfas... Read more

Everything was top of the line from service, to furniture, to layout, to housekeeping. We were there for two days to complete marathons each day. Once the staff found out we would be leaving for the races at 4 AM each morning, they prepared a nutritious sack breakfast for us at the reception desk we could grab on our way out. One night for dinner they had pizza out, the next night it was subway sandwiches. The staff couldn't be any friendlier or more welcoming. We felt like we were visiting frie... Read more

I had two issues with my stay... 1. There are train tracks right behind the hotel and I mean right behind. 2. If you stay in room 215 you can hear the door slam as people go in and out of the side exit all day and night!

We stayed here on the way to Washington DC from New Jersey. Great stopping point. Easy to get to and right off the highway. Loved the breakfast. Clean rooms and friendly staff. This was our second stay and we plan to stay again in the future! We are happy customers... Thank you for the nice stay!

Someone opened my room door around 10 PM and the attendance told me that I could leave the property if I am not happy there. I felt that my and my family safety is not important to them. It is very concerning when you are out of town and don't know anyone in the area. This hotel is dangerous.

Perfect in every way. I recommend reserving a room on the other side from the railroad tracks. A+ in every way from desk to breakfast staff to maids. Will return. Highly recommend. Perfect for families as well as business.

We stayed here for a weekend in a Queen room and a King suite. Both were very comfortable and the suite was huge. The staff were accommodating, the breakfast foods refilled, and everything was clean. I love Hampton Inns and this one was everything it should be.

Comfortable rooms and common areas. Has everything you need to make your stay as easy as possible. Out of the 4 days we spent there 2 of those the internet was down which was a bit inconvenient. Very close to major roadways.

We stayed at this particular Hampton Inn because it was near a wedding we were attending. It turned out great! Very clean, staff was great, breakfast was nice, and the hotel itself is very close to nice restaurants and the college town of the University of Delaware. Right near the hotel are lots of fast food places which we do not care for. When we asked at the desk we learned of several good choices just a 5 minute drive away. Highly recommend this hotel.

It is one of the best Hampton Inns ... which are known for consistent quality service and great rooms. Friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast, very close to Route 95 and restaurants.... makes it a very convenient over night stop if you are traveling on 95 North/South.

My wife & I are long haul truckers. Once a month we get a hotel for a night. We've not stayed @ a Hampton Inn before. It was an awesome stay. They have parking for our truck & trailer right outside the door. We enjoyed it so much that we became HHonors members. Taylor did an awesome job welcoming my wife & I. We will definitely stay there when we're in town again.

We found this Hampton Inn to be a good value for the money. It was close to I-95. We found several restaurants in the area. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Overall I considered this to be a nice hotel. I would stay again when I pass through Maryland.

This is one of the best Hamptons we have stayed at. Very clean, nice pool. Coffee was drinkable. Friendly staff greeted us. Would definately stay here again. Great seafood nearby. Really no complaints except that the breakfast could have had more variety.

Nice Quiet rooms. Clean Rooms. Breakfast is typical complimentary breakfasts that you get from any hotel. Nothing special. Pool nice and clean. Would stay again at this hotel. Would like to see all hotels upgrade their breakfasts.

Everything here is perfect except internet connection. Level 1 is below ground. Might be why my internet connection wasn't good but I'm not sure that is the reason. The pool is indoors but it was very nice to swim in. The breakfast was very good.

Room clean, bed very comfy, good fitness room, good complimentary breakfast buffet, but overall felt was too expensive for a Hampton Inn on an interstate when just looking for a good night's rest during travels.

Very pleasant - clean well-appointed rooms, helpful staff, good breakfast. Hotel is 15 minutes to U. of D., on a busy road, yet quiet. I'd stay here again. Didn't use the pool area so can't comment on that.

This is a great choice for lodging in the Elkton, MD area. The room was clean. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries. It was clean also. The hotel, while hosting quite a few guests with small children, was quiet. In addition, the hotel offers free Wifi. Another bonus is the complimentary breakfast which offered a variety of food choices and served its purpose to provide enough fuel to begin the day. Everything was OK, but not at all 'special'. My previous experience at Hampton Inns has always been better than this one. Staff was OK, but obviously 'working' and could have been more 'endearing' Nothing bad enough to complain about, but I will look elsewhere next visit.

I have stayed at a Hampton many times, and always find the room, linens and bathroom clean and welcoming. The complimentary breakfast has a range of options, including fresh fruit, cereals, waffles, pastries and an egg dish, which is always hot and fresh.

Our family of 5 is always traveling and we make it a point to stay at Hampton Inns any chance we get. Always a great experience at a price you can't beat! The staff is beyond friendly, the breakfast is always top notch, and rooms are always clean/modern. The Hampton Inn Elkton didn't let us down! The kids had a great time at the pool and the 24/7 fresh fruit/coffee in the lobby is always a bonus. Will definitely stay again on our next time through!!

We stayed for a family event near by; usually we stay near Kennett Square but this time we tried another locale and we were very happy. Very clean hotel that is well maintained and the front desk staff was friendly and helpful during a quick checkin process. Room while a bit small has high ceilings so it actually felt very large. As is almost all our experiences staying at Hampton Inns, the staff is kind and helpful. Everything was very clean and fresh. Our room was on the 4th floor. Quiet. It was very clean, plenty of towels and no strange smells. The beds were comfortable and pillows were plentiful. Nice TV, plenty of lights and roomy. The gym was very small compared to other Hampton Inns but it was fine. Happy to return if we pass through this way again.

We recently stayed here for three nights for a nearby car event. The hotel is typical of others that we have stayed in, the room was nice, clean, and the premises well kept. The help was friendly. Only negative was the 4:00 check in was very slow, The desk person said they had to check to see if the room was ready? My tip is choose a room in the front because a commuter train runs behind the building every 20 mins. or so. It's fast and not real noisy, but may bother some people. Two thumbs up + ... Read more

Traveled up north from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Looked for a convenient place to stay for the night. Wanted a getaway for my wife and I, but did not want to travel too far. Living in Joppa, I searched for a hotel in Elkton which was about 40 minutes away. We left on Friday night after work and arrived around 8pm.
