I stayed here for two weeks while in the area on business. I found some of the staff to be professional and courteous other not so much. Was not greeted as a HH Diamond member at check in. Daniel at front desk was helpful. Housekeepers were nice. My room was on the 4th floor in the middle facing the courtyard. Room condition was very good. The hotel is supposed to be smoke free, but my room reeked of cigarettes/nicotine. Overall, the hotel, which is pet friendly, was relatively quiet, but I can't get over the fact that the cigarette and nicotine smell in my room was not noticed by any of the staff and addressed before I checked in. I ended up checking out early.

We've stayed at this location 3 times over the past few months, and had a decent time on each visit. This time, the lobby was being demolished, and everything was in upheaval. Honestly, if you can stay elsewhere, I would recommend it. The staff at the desk was uninterested, we couldn't get a quiet room out of the way as we had on previous trips, and the breakfast was of even lower level quality than previously. We like the HS in general, but this will have us looking at other hotel brands. ... Read more

This property is falling apart and management doesn't care about the guest. It's a construction zone and they try to continue to do business through this. My son had a soap dish fall on his foot in shower that appeared that it was attached with a hot glue gun.

Stayed over Memorial Day for soccer tourney. Was under construction, but aside from a few unconvinces, really appreciated the suites and ample square footage. Although I understand not all rooms were as spacious. Fridge and dishes etc were very useful. Kids enjoyed the pool. Breakfast food was marginal at best but wasn't expecting much. Weight room very convenient.

We stayed at Homewood Suites in Columbia, MD for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good. Unfortunately, during our stay, the lobby was under construction so there was no access to that part of the hotel. Check in was in an office. I'm sure it will be very nice when complete and would probably stay again.

My Dec/Jan stay was very nice but my May 2016 stay was very trumatic, PAINT smell in my room giving me a head-acke, I had to open the windows my entire stay. the only reason I remained with the hotel is all other hotels were full. I am a Gold member and prior Diamond member. I was very dis-appointed.

At our stay the wing we were in had a heavy oder of paint/paint thinner. Also we were in the back of the hotel and when you came out of the door, you could not get back in and had to walk to the front of the building to get back in, what a pain. Food did not meet the normal standard I have had in the past.

I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Columbia MD for a personal visit. I've stayed here before and while the rooms are small, they are usually a good value for the price. There are restaurants within walking distance: TGIF, McDonalds, Olive Garden is across the hotel. Also, you can walk to Costco or Trader Joe's. The hotel has a good breakfast. Hotel is not worth the money. The hotel bed is horrible and thought the hotel looks good form outside, the quality of rooms is very bad. This is more like cheap quality motel rather than suite. I'd not recommend this hotel. However, if you get the room for less than 85 per night...that would be reasonable. The furniture is outdated, bed is horrible. Not worth the money.

Beautiful hotel lobby greeted by friendly and helpful staff! This short getaway was for an anniversary trip to a concert in Washington DC and was perfect for an overnight stay!! We had the ability to extend our checkout time to accommodate our need.

We had three families traveling. Each family reserved a two bedroom unit. We all had plenty of room. The rooms were clean. The breakfast was great and the evening social events were a nice place to gather at the end of the day. We all enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I were traveling to Columbia, Maryland for a funeral and were pleased to find a pet friendly property close to the funeral home. The hotel was clean and bright with many convenient amenities and a friendly staff. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, pet friendly, hotel.

I went to the front desk multiple times and asked for the manager whereupon the clerk said I must contact manager of housekeeping. I was never successful in getting in touch while I was still in the h... Read more

This hotel was very pleasant to stay in. The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, the beds very comfortable, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! We needed and extra pillow and the staff was happy to provide it. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in the perfect spot. Close to the interstate (95, 495, 295). The mall is only minutes away. You can walk there on a nice day. There are restaurants literally across the street and an 24 hour gas station. The staff here was pleasantly professional. I enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the evening snack specials.

We have stayed at this location several times while visiting family in the area. The two bedroom suite is ideal for our family of four. The amenities and service is always outstanding. Easy access to highways.

With complimentary food week nights and the complimentary breakfast, it made it very cheap and convenient for us. The staff is extremely Pleasent and with the kitchenette you could never have to go to a restaurant. Clean and very nice rooms.
