We stayed here while house hunting and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is not included and costs $10.99. The room was same as any other HGI. The customer service was standard for this type of hotel. It was clean up to date. The beds were comfortable. All in all, it was a good stay.

The HGI in Columbia was my choice of stays for location/and/price. My wife & I were delighted to learn once we got to our room that on this delightful spring May night that we would be able to open the window (22" x 54") and have fresh air for sleeping, rather than turning on the HVAC unit. At dusk we were treated to the sound of ducks frolicking at a nearby pond (at the rear side of the hotel.) Oh... the ducks quiet-ed down after dark.

This Hilton was nice enough. They had complementary coffee in the mornings (only). No complementary breakfast. We ate in the restaurant one night and even though it did not seem busy it took a full hour to serve our food. Spa is cold, beds are uncomfortable. I didn't even try the breakfast as the reviews online stated that it was not worth the money. They didn't want to offer me my benefits as a gold member, I had to ask and in return was given a look of confusion so I just asked for a bottle of water.

Very hot hallways, but other than that, everything was great! Super clean, nice comfy beds, great hair dryer and roomy space. Loved having a Kreuig as well in the room. Would certainly stay there again.

The staff made a mindane experience very fun! We appreciated the coffee and water bar in the lobby since we were not traveling during peak hours. The room was very clean and that is a number one priority!

I booked my room in advance and upon arrival to the hotel at check-in time (3:00 PM) I was told by the desk representative that my room would not be ready until 30 minutes later because there was a soccer game and the rooms were filled up. We checked into The Hilton Garden Inn, after a huge snafu with the hotel, ES Sonesta, which was booked three months prior to our arrival. Our annual Jazz Festival was on, and somehow, by the grace of God, we we able to grab the last junior suite available. Fast forward, what a lovely hotel. This will be our go to hotel whenever we are in the area !! Loved it !!

The rooms are comfortable and are well taken care of, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food has enough variety and is well prepared. It is a wonderful feeling when we come off the road to find a welcoming staff and top noch amenities for our various needs.

Great stay. Desk staff awesome. Breakfast wasn't the best. The service and the room was really nice. The internet could have been stronger. Overall based on the cost it is a great place to stay and I would recommend this hotel.

I will never again return to this location. I was traveling with my husband and two small children. The first night was ok although the air conditioning in our king junior suite was not good. They were not prepared for large group for breakfast but the rooms were nice and comfortable. I would recommend for individual stay but not for large groups such as family reunion because they were not prepared.

Business and social trip combined to see family in the area . Have been staying here approx 4 yrs off and on . Do like the indoor pool and indoor hot tub . Would like to see More hotels have a lobby design like Hilton Garden

LOVE Hilton Garden Inn EXCEPT for the mattresses! There is no air flow and it makes me sweat. Plus I have never been able to get those air chambers to my liking. This last stay the chambers never got firm and I ended up sleeping in a concave pit by morning.

The excellent experience in this hotel because of very friendly staff and clean/comfortable room. The best part of the stay was in the lounge with a very friendly bar attendant. The breakfast was made to the order and delivered quickly for my appointment.

My husband and I travel allot and we have had some good and bad hotel experiences. I am so happy we found this hotel. It is very clean, the rooms are large, it has free wif-fi and an amazing sparkling clean pool and hot tub. Everytime we are in the area we book this hotel. The front staff is very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Look no further this is the one for a pleasant stay! The other hotels need to step up and pay attention to what customer service is all about. Thanks for a great stay!

We arrived late at night and were greeted by a friendly lady who explained to us that the rooms had adjustable beds. We were given the keys to room #301. Room #301 had the oldest, most uncomfortable bed I had seen since summer camp. I could feel the springs through the mattress. The sheets were clean, but very limp and worn, as was the comforter. Excellent hotel and location! Staff is TERRIFIC! We stayed here for son's lacrosse tournament which was only a few miles away. Restaurants and shopping nearby. They have laundry so we could wash the stinky uniforms!

The hotel was fine, although the staff seemed a little disorganized and less than professional. The digital room keys had a failure which required additional trips to the front desk, but they did respond quickly letting us in with a master key.

I usually enjoy my stays at Hilton but this one service was the worst ever!!!!! Pro: The gentleman when i checked in was very helpful and informative about the area. The house keeping for our room was very friendly, and rooms were very clean. Con: 1. The beds are way way way to soft. You sit on the side and almost slide off. 2. Was not satisfied with the stay at this hotel. Although issues were resolved quickly, the problems encountered at the time of check-in set the mood for the rest of the stay. Room was large and had lots of space, but very loud from noises in the hallway and ventilating.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. We were able to get an early check in. The location was very convenient. The staff was helpful and friendly. On check out we were able to leave our luggage and even our left overs from dinner until we left the area so we did not have to leave them in the car in the 100 deg car. Beds were very comfortable.

Nice, clean hotel, but we ended up with a room with two uncomfortable double beds. We thought we booked two queens, but didn't. But what Hilton property still offers double beds? Overall, hotel was ok. Breakfast was pretty bad for any price. Restaurant staff need to wear hairnets!!

We were able to get a good price on our rooms due to a HiltonHonors sale on this fine hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful at check-in, and our room was lovely and very clean. Since there is no free breakfast, we walked to the McD's across the street for hotcakes and sausage at a cheaper price than the hotel's $10.95 breakfast. Lots of amenties rounded out our visit. Will possibly stay here again when we visit our son.

Okay but price is too expensive for amenities offered. I thought we were suppose to get cookies at check in or in the room. I thought there would be at least one morning free continental breakfast. Over all it was okay.

This hotel's staff cannot be beat. Evan, the General Manager, has a fantastic group of people. The hotel was clean and in good repair. The location is great conveniently located off of route 100. I'll return again and again.

I've stayed at this hotel numerous times! The location is easy to get and is in a great area very close to great dining and conveniences! The staff is beyond friendly and helpful and assure that guests feel welcomed and comfortable. It's a NO brainer... If you have to stay in the Columbia, MD area, this is where you want to stay. I am giving this feedback as an independent consultant who travels often and encounters many hotels. This is among the best!

The hotel was great until my wife and I order breakfast in the morning. The worst service I have recieved. I had to ask the server what I had ordered, since I ordered an omelette and what I got did not lookes like and omelette at all. It took 40 minutes to get the breakfast. We were not the only ones with issues.... everyone around us was complaining about their food and service.

I had a quick one night stay at this hotel. Room and property were clean, staff was helpful, location was good. Nothing spectacular and nothing bad that would cause me to say it is better than average.I would stay here again if needed.

The room we had paid for was unavailable at check-in @ 4:30pm. We were given a room that was not what we had paid for, then had fo wait until 6pm to be placed in a damp but clean room. The window in bedroom had a broken edge on the rail, right side by vent intake. Overnight attendant was awkward & dismissive.

I stayed here one night while on business. Overall the stay was pretty average. That is not a bad thing. It is pretty much on par with other Hilton Garden Inn stays. It neither excelled in my opinion or was worthy of criticism. I guess the only main drawback is that they don't offer any kind of free/complimentary/continental breakfast option. It was the great location when we were visiting our family in ellicott city. Close enough to restaurants and bars etc. Dunkin Donuts is just steps away. Looks brand new hotel. Staff is pleasant and kind. Overall great stay for me. I will definetely use it when i get back to the area.

Great hotel and staff. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and even used its banquet facilities when we lived in the area. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff is always helpful.

Everything was great except the very noisy shower heads. Not just noisy, but an awful screech. I informed the front desk but nothing was done. I could hear other rooms had the same problem as I went by.

We only Stayed one night. The rooms were Nicely appointed and were very clean. The layout of the room was very good. The beds were comfortable. Wish we had been able to stay there longer. I would recommend this hotel.

We needed an affordable, safe hotel for two nights when our visit required being in Baltimore and DC. The rooms were clean, although breakfast was expensive. We went across the parking lot to McDonalds.

We flew into BWI from Beckley, WV on a promotional fee from Viaair, and wanted a nice place to stay. This was perfect. The staff was warm and friendly. The room was warm and very clean and everything we expected from the name brand hotel. No problems with anything and very easy to get to and located minutes from everything we wanted to do in the area. I would recommend the hotel for anyone's next stay.

I travel a lot for business and have stayed in a lot of hotels, both good and bad. This hotel is one of the best! It's super clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff is friendly and engaging. It is in a convenient location for the businessperson. Special kudos to Irina and Queen, they are ambassadors of wonderful customer service and kindness. I will most certainly stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Quiet, clean appearance. Called down to guest services around 11:30pm to request additional pillows was told that there was no available to bring them and she did not have access to get them. The next morning we walked to the front desk to request and explain the situation, clerk apologized immediately and informed us the pillows would be in our room. Later that night, noticed that the bed was made but the sheets however were not changed and the shower was not cleaned!

When in the Baltimore area I will always stay at the Hilton Garden Inn in Columbia on Snowden Dr. Staff is great and friendly. Great atmosphere. The Chef knows his stuff. Prepares great dinners and presents them well.
