We were happy to find this hotel renovated since our last visit. Very nice improvements! And the staff were excellent. Especially Alana and Nicholas. The staff kept the breakfast items well stocked too! We recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to DC. Easy access to the Branch Ave metro. We will definitely be back!

This rooms are comfortable and clean and the hotel is convenient to reach. A complimentary continental breakfast is offered and the service is very friendly. It is annoying that the windows can't be opened, not even a crack. When I asked for water the front desk staff was very happy to provide me with complimentary bottles. Wireless internet was convenient and fast. Overall a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, but with no charm or some individual note.

In town for a sports event at the New 24 Basketball Center in District Heights. Pros: Clean and some parts looked updated. Rooms were clean but dark. They were also small. Beds in average shape but narrow. The breakfast was average with boiled eggs, some meats, yogurt, bagels, muffins, oatmeal packets, and fruit (see negatives below) AC unit was noisy but worked well. Cons: They started putting the breakfast stuff away 20 mins before breakfast was supposed to end. The pancake machine was unplu... Read more

We were here to visit Washington, DC and we loved the fact that the hotel is truly a 20 minute drive to Washington. Well worth it. The rooms are small, but comfortable beds and well equipped. Clean, well maintained. The only con for me was the a/c unit. It was so loud I had to wear earplugs to sleep. The continental breakfast could be much better, but hey, it's food and if one isn't too particular, could find something to eat. We didn't much like the area. It didn't feel safe. However, ... This hotel is a nice hotel. The front desk and breakfast workers are friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the branch avenue metro station and it is very near I495. A good place to stay with better prices than in the city but a 20 minute metro ride to the Smithsonian museums.

The Hotel was comfortable and it had a wonderful and warm atmosphere. I stayed their for two nights all the staff were excellent and had a nice personality. One manager who personality was so nice and outstanding was the Front Office Manager Mr. Tarrer. He is the one that made my stay there wonderful. He had a smile that made you feel happy. Breakfast was was delicious. My relatives stay at this hotel all the time when they come to visit. They always gave me good review of the hotel and Mr.... Read more

The staff is very friendly, the rooms are great and the hot breakfast in superb. This is a very nice hotel for business or leisure. I highly recommend it. It is near downtown Washington, D.C., the monuments, shopping and close to the beltway (I-495).

The hotel appeared to be updated and clean. Except the staff are not professional, cut corners in every way, and are rude. The plumbing in the entire building is problematic. We rented 7 rooms total throughout the hotel for a family reunion. Every room had a problem with the toilets not flushing and this caused the rooms to smell of urine. Upon check in for a King size room with 5 guests, I am obviously going to need the pull out couch, no bedding was offered and wasn't in the room. At 11p... Read more

Had a great time at this hotel, very friendly staff and great rooms. They allowed us to stay a little bit longer pass the checkout time until my ride came to pick us up. The breakfast was great, just missing some bacon but it's ok.

Well, I was greeted by front desk - Natalie and had a very pleasant experience. Check in went smooth & she was very pleasant to work with. I had no problems during my stay & the room was clean, etc & I had no complaints about amenities provided. Comfortable bed. Upon checkout, I was greeted again by Natalie, such a joy. She explained everything I needed to know from beginning to end. Just an overall lovely place to stay!! Thanks Natalie!! I was only there for one night, wish it was more.

As an early morning riser (usually 5:00), I really appreciate a morning smile when I am traveling. At Holiday inn in Camp Springs, two wonderful ladies greeted me as I came to the lobby to find a quiet place to read and not disturb my sleeping family. The coffee was ready, and I settled in. Thank you, CHerell. I was also impressed by the ready willingness and graciousness from the shuttle drivers who ferried eight boisterous tourists to the Metro station every morning and evening. This was a ver... Read more

I was here for two nights ,July 4-6. I was in town for an interview and was invited for another interview the next day. I had used points for the first night, and the GM provided a discount for the second night. I also had to review a very long document and provide feedback on it for the second interview. I couldn't get it to print at the Business Center after it ran out of paper, but Natalie was gracious enough to print it from the front desk. I'm so grateful because having my own copy on p... We stayed here four nights and enjoyed it very much. Friendly and helpful staff, outdoor pool, free Wi-fi, free breakfast and parking and a small fitness room for basic workout. It was a good starting point for various sights to visit. Although only 12 miles from center of DC, it takes quite much time to drive there if you choose the wrong time of the day. There is a metro station not far from the hotel and a good alternative to driving in DC. You also have easy access by car to places like Nati... Read more

Made sure to recognize the IHG membership and level. The staff was friendly and very helpful, our room was new and clean. Very nice renovation. Shuttle service to the Branch Ave Metro was on time and helpful. We did walk one evening from the metro to the hotel and we felt safe doing so. I always felt safe at the hotel. Breakfast was good and even though it was busy they kept things stocked. I would definitely stay again!

Carlos, shuttle driver was/is the best. Very nice staff person. He corrected an issue in my room with wonderful apologetic attitude and then on the following day took me to the mall in the shuttle. The breakfast was fantastic, not a typical continental breakfast. Job well done.

I have stated here a few times and have always had a great stay! It's always clean and the beds are very comfortable! Breakfast is great and included! The staff is always friendly and nice saying hello to you. There's a shuttle to the metro which is very nice! The microwave and fridge in room are a great plus! We always enjoy our stay here.

The management is wonderful at this hotel - especially Mr. Tyree Fom! He helped me correct a reservation error that was my travel agency's fault and saved me from looking for a new room after hours of travel. Great service, and the hotel and room were very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend it.

??We stayed here as our "base camp" while visiting Washington DC. It was close to the Metro with a free shuttle to the Metro station. It was approximately a 30 minute Metro ride to the National Mall. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the rates were great compared to hotels closer in to DC. The breakfast was good but most of all, Theresa was excellent in the breakfast area. She kept the area stocked and clean. She was so friendly and helpful-doing whatever she could to ma... Read more

The rooms were great, very clean, beds were comfortable and loved the pillow assortment. Bathrooms were spacious enough, updated and clean. The breakfast left a bit to be desired though. Eggs were pre-made and watery and one of the women working there didn't change her gloves after entering and exiting the restroom (gag). The only other negative was that the a/c didn't cool well enough for my liking. All the employees were very nice and accommodating but this location was simply too far from D.C.... Read more

Clean, was up to date & enough space. Close to metro, shuttle was prompt & clean. Was on vacation last week to visit DC & Old Town Alexandria. Staff was GREAT!! Had a disturbance one night, but the front staff & security were quick to fix the issue & apologized numerous times. Free breakfast & free parking were one of the reasons that we chose this hotel. Breakfast was great each morning, Theresa was super friendly & even sad goodbye & hugged us before we left. If we wanted/needed anything, staf... Read more

My name is D' Angelo Fowler and based from visiting this hotel for a stay I had a lovely time. The front desk agent by the name of Natalie Smith has been very much helping and directive. She provides excellent customer service and directions. She has also provided me with shuttle rides anytime I needed it. This hotel is a very much clean, quiet, and professional. So far this has been a great experience.

If you do not wish to take your car into the city, this is the place. 1/2 a mile from the Branch subway stop (plenty parking-free on Sat. & Sun.). Plenty of good food around. Quite. clean and reasonable. Better make reservations ahead.

One of the worst IHG properties that I have been to. Terrible customer service and management is unhelpful. As a Spire Elite member I was rewarded with a room in the basement, including air purifiers in each corner. DO NOT STAY HERE. Over priced and bad accommodations.

This is a typical Holiday Inn Express hotel at Camp Springs which is at a 20 minutes driving distance from DC and close to a Metro station if you prefer to use this type of transportation. The room was not big, but we had two queen beds which were very comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has free WiFi and free Parking. The only complaint I have is that we received several times towels with blood stains. Although we received new ones this should happened.

The Holiday Inn Express in Washington DC East is the best hotel! Marvin and Tyree from customer service desk are very nice, they do their work very efficiently and professionally; the most appreciate part is the way they communicate with the guests. Also Carlos who is driving the Shuttle-bus from the hotel is very friendly. I am happy that I picked this hotel to stay in Washington, and I will recommend the hotel to my relatives and friends. Thanks all employee from this hotel.
