I have stayed at the hotel in the past and have always been pleased with the staff and service. However, I think that the rooms and some of the amenities need to be updated as it has obviously been a while since that has occurred.

Hotel is clean . breakfast is excellent . good mexican restaurant in the same complex , 2 second walk good food as well . The price is very reasonable and this location is very central to other things

Room small and needs updating. It is pet friendly.. That's a plus! Two beds and desk, room was pretty full. Bathroom small. It was pretty clean though. Just nit up to the La Quinta standards I'm used to.

Had a king suite, very nice, lost of room, friendly staff, met needs. Needed additional linens, blankets and pillows, no problem. Very prompt and very friendly. Good location to eating and shopping. We have stayed there before and will do so again in the future. I would recommend this to others as well.

Bathroom and entry floor covered in bugs. Checked in at 10:30 pm after a long day. Found the bathroom tub,towels, and entry floor covered with dozens of dead black winged bugs.... I have no when the last time someone cleaned my room or stayed there. I've never seen anything like it. Couldn't even think about trying to sleep in this place now so we left. Won't be back anytime soon.

This hotel is pet friendly and we had an awesome weekend at Point Lookout Park. The staff was friendly and room was ready for an early check-in which was great. The breakfast was a nice added bonus and rates were reasonable. No pet fee charged which was very nice.

This motel had very good facilities. The breakfast had a good variety and changed somewhat from one day to the next. The only problem that we encountered was a local (maybe county or state) law that doesn't allow outdoor pools to be used before Memorial Day. We were here at the end of May (before Memorial Day) and the temps were in the 80s, but no swimming was allowed.

The staff is great. It's a small hotel and the staff work really hard to keep everything running. We were here for 10 days so we saw their rotations and routines. The best housekeeper was Daryl, he works meticulously, always refreshed our room with toiletries, cups, etc., and folds the sheets perfectly. There are two restaurants- Mexican and Pizza- steps away. Friendly staff, good work ethic. Every day I was greeted entering and leaving and not only at the front desk. The employees seemed to take pride in their jobs and that was refreshing. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel was clean also.

Staff, especially Anna were great. They were very helpful. The only issue I had was that the air conditioner kept trying to keep the room too cold. Finally, shut it off during the night. Centrally located.

My husband, baby, dog and I recently stayed here for two nights. PROS: The motel is pet friendly and doesn't charge a pet fee. The cleaning staff were friendly. CONS: There was black sediment and hair in the bath tub that kept coming up from the tub drain. The back entrance to the motel smelled of cigarette smoke and trash.

Poor conditions, wouldn't even try it again. The trash situation and condition of the grounds was really poor and the staff was not always present. There were many young on on bicycles riding through the lot and it gave a sense of discomfort.

This was not the cleanest La Quinta I have stayed in, but I could not ask for kinder receptionist, manager, cleaning staff than here. They did everything to make my stay outstanding. Yvonne at the check in desk was so very helpful. The AC in my room was not working. The manager instantly changed my rooms and helped me move my belongings. I regret that I have to give a poor rating for this hotel tonight. I have stayed here before but this time we were given a room that smells strongly of cigarette smoke. I am here with my daughter for a state championship swim meet and I am upset that she and I will breath less than clean air all night long - the night before big races for which she has trained very hard to qualify to be here. good price hotel but bad room cleaning service. Request and reminded to clean the room and the service was not good and slow. Awaited 3 hours to get the room cleaned after several requests. Will not use this hotel at my next visit.

The staff at this hotel couldn't have been friendlier or more efficient from the minute we entered the lobby. The rooms are modern and clean. Beds are comfortable. The complementary breakfast is well stocked and attended by an efficient and friendly person. The rooms have thermostats for controlling the heat or A/C so you can make yourself comfortable. There is dining and shopping all around and even a walk-able distance if you want.

Our "floating condo" (we are boaters and live on the boat most of the year with two small dogs had to come out of the water for much needed work. We had to find a place to stay that would not charge an arm and a leg and would take dogs. The La Quinta in California MD was perfect for our needs. The AC was leaking water into the room, the blankets smelled like mildew, the chairs had stains, the towel rack was barely attached to the wall. A loud shop fan was put in our room to dry the carpet but was not fixed. The floor was soaked again that night. Our suite was booked for 10 days and we checked out after the 2nd night.

I would like to see more business people staying at this hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are excellent and the beds are very comfortable. It's a very good value for business people working at the Base.

Convenient location. Handicap accessible room was near the outside door. Room was comfortable and clean. We like La Quinta chain as it allows our dogs at no charge and we know we will have a good experience. Staff very helpful and friendly. Will stay here again.

Rented a vacation home in Solomon's but came in two days early so decided to stay at LaQuinta. Never stayed in one but wanted to try as it was pet friendly.
