Maintenance man was no help at all. I had snowy interference on the television since check in. He came, looked at the tv and remote, showed me how to turn the tv on and off with the remote. He then said "Some television channel do that" and He left the room. He did not speak or understand English-language very well.

We spent four days at this hotel. It was conveniently located to Bel Air. It was comfortable with enough room that we had some space the room. staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good. I really liked the new addition of the yogurt parfait. We were surprised to know that there was dinner available Tuesday through Thursday nights. The TV was a pain to set up every time we turned it on, but they were working on it. The water pressure in the shower was not adequate. Hard ... Read more

I was so displeased that I was forced to check out and move to another hotel nearby. The gym and the rear patio was unkept and filthy. Gym equipment and patio was rusty and filthy. There was no coffee prepared when I came down the next morning. Called the manager to complain and she did not return my call. I have stayed at different Wingate hotels in the past but that will change due to my experience at the Edgewood, MD location.

We booked as a group to travel with our team to Ripken. Of course the first day of the tournament was cancelled but we went down anyhow. As I promised him a weekend away. We got there early on a Friday night and checked in. The hotel was a ghost town as most of the teams going had cancelled Friday night and just kept Saturday night. We swam in the pool and it was clean and it wasn't cold. Check-in was quick and they were very pleasant. Our tournament got cancelled but we had a good time anyhow.... Read more

I hadn't been here in quite some time, but booking was tough for my time period, so I took the Wingate. Check in was good, he explained everything (wifi, breakfast, etc). The room was a standard room, small frig and microwave. I did notice however that the corners haven't been vacuumed in quite some time, and the bathroom vent was very dusty/dirty as well. All else was good. Nice breakfast and they had a dinner at night though it was meat and I'm vegetarian.

A weary traveler (drove 12 hours) arrives to be greeted by disappointment. There were no luggage carts available to help me transport my belongings to the room. There were 2 very young people behind the front desk who were nothing more than worthless in an effort to help as I told them I was traveling with someone who had fallen and could barely walk. They did not tell me that I had to use the room key to control the elevator so we had to walk AGAIN all the way to the mail entrance to inqu... Read more

My family traveled there to play baseball at the Ripken Aberdeen facility. The location was perfect, just a few minutes' drive to the fields. We upgraded to the suite, which was nice. It had separate TVs so the kids could watch one thing and the adults another. Also separate HVAC for the living and bedroom areas was great. Had some minor issues. I was quoted a rate of $169 for Saturday and $149 for Sunday and Monday. I ended up canceling Saturday, but my rate at check in was $169. The gentleman ... Read more

Booked this hotel because of its close proximity to my work site. Rooms were clean but the beds could be more comfortable and the breakfast was less than stellar.
