We had family come and stay at the hotel for a week and we stayed one night on our wedding night. We were in and out constantly during the week because our family was there from out of town. The front desk concierge was very friendly and helpful and the valet was very friendly, always opening the door for us and greeting us. The rooms were comfortable, but nothing special. The luggage rack leg was almost completely broken. But the worst part was the loudness of the ac/heating units that so... Read more

We chose the O'Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis because of it's proximity to the Rams Head On Stage, a concert venue a couple of blocks down the street. We had tickets to see the Smithereens on 1/28/17 and did not want to fight for parking in downtown Annapolis on a Saturday night. Note that the O'Callaghan offers valet parking for guests for $20 a day. That $20 fee includes unlimited in and outs. The registration clerk was pleasant, offering suggestions for dinner and directions to the Rams Head. W... Read more

We were very pleased with our stay. Rates were reasonable and the hotel staff was always friendly and accommodating. We were close enough to downtown that we were able to walk to everything. The room was a little threadbare and the cable was really lacking (32 channels, I think) but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. If I have any complaints about the room, it would be that it had a refrigerator, but no microwave. Very nice bar/restaurant just off the lobby. The wh... Read more

Nice location. Place is a bit weathered. Rooms are in serious need of an update. Kind of musty. The bathroom fan in my room couldn't be turned off. Also- when I called to make my reservation, the guy booked me for an extra night at a prepaid rate. Staff gave me a grief about fixing it at check-in (when I learned of the mistake), but eventually agreed to fix it.

Hotel is in great location to stadium & restaurant/bar area. Valet "Gary" was extremely friendly & helpful & went above & beyond to make sure we were having a great time! Girls working the bar were great too! Beds comfortable...bathroom clean...older furnishings......but friendliness & location are so worth 5 stars!!!

Don't be fooled by the pictures. We stayed here one night for over $200 but the room is an $80 a night room. It's very dirty, dated, smelled, the bed was very uncomfortable and I would never ever stay here again especially at this price. If you read this, you should rethink it. There are many other very nice places to stay in Annapolis worthy of this cost.

Staff was super nice. Lobby was nice. Did not have a chance to try the restaurant. Hotel is dated and needs some renovation. The room had a musty smell, the carpet was stained and the bathroom was ok. One of the worst hotel beds that I have ever slept on. For 189.00 it was not worth it but it was a last minute deal. I would rate this as a 100.00 dollar accommodation. It gets three stars because of the staff and the location.

We stayed here for three nights, traveling to Washington DC for two of our days. The staff was absolutely exceptional! So accommodating, friendly, and helped to make our entire trip fabulous! Will be back!

I stayed here last weekend and had an uncomfortable and frustrating stay. When we walked into the room it was very cold, so we adjusted the thermostat and as soon as the heat came on the heating unit starting smoking and the fire alarm went off. I called the front desk and they had someone come check on it who suggested taking the battery out of the smoke detector to stop the noise or moving rooms. I asked to move rooms and he said he'd take care of it. When I hadn't heard anything for a few min... Read more

Spent one night at the O'Callaghan Hotel in Annapolis, MD. Hotel was within walking distance to numerous restaurants and historic sites including the Naval Academy and the Maryland State House. The room was spacious, quiet, and was able to easily accommodate four (4) adults. In addition, we took advantage of their Happy Hour and enjoyed a discounted cocktail in their hotel lounge.
