Decent hotel. Room service didn't start til 8am which was inconvenient. Had to get the heat/ac adjusted and get my sheets changed on the first day because there was a stain. They responded promptly to that however. The bartender was nice and so was the cafe. The bed was comfortable and layout of the room was nice and spacious.

Beautiful old, renovated hotel in the heart of financial district. Easy walk to good restaurants also several dining options in hotel. Parking is in garage or valet so I was really glad I didn't rent a car. Easy walk to inner harbor. Besides usual city noises, sirens, it was quiet . Room was comfortable and immaculate. Sky bar is wonderful in good weather. Loved it!

I very rarely write reviews but I was somewhat disappointed in my stay at the Lord Baltimore this week. I booked the hotel on booking.com for a rate of $396.00 for 2 days. This was a total price that was stated on the website so I booked the hotel at this price. I arrived at the hotel and the front desk informs me that they had to change the price I was being charged. They charged me an extra $64.00 for the stay I guess it was a bait and switch scheme. Needless to say I won't be staying here... Read more

We went for a couple of nights to see a baseball game at Camden and do a little sightseeing. This hotel which is downtown is about 7 easy blocks walk to the ball park and 4 - 6 blocks to the Inner Harbor. No need for transportation if those are your destinations. We had double queen beds and the room was very comfortable and clean. Parking was 1 block away at $18/night. The hotel is maybe 4 - 5 blocks off the end of the I83 which made it easy to reach. The British man at the front desk was warm and welcoming (I think his name was Glen) and always had a great smile. I was at the hotel for 5 nights and every morning when I came down he always seemed to be at the front desk, always said good morning and the vests he wore were, well how can I put it. Booked for the price on a busy, busy weekend for a wedding and were impressed by the stay. Quick service. Great lobby bar. My only regret, we did not make it to the roof bar....in walking distance to harbor, stadium and Power Plant area. We enjoyed the walks we took to and from the hotel to downtown.

My wife and I were in town for an Orioles game. We wanted to stay overnight so we could walk to the stadium, but know our vehicle was secure. The valet parking is $ 37.50, but that is unlimited in/out for the length of your stay at the hotel. Naturally, the longer you stay, the better a value, but the valet guys couldn't have been nicer and more professional. 10 minutes after arriving, I was "that guy" who forgot something in the car after it had been parked. I believe this hotel was renovated in 2014. The rooms are a nice size and they are great looking. The bathrooms are small but nice looking. The parking is HORRIBLE. I had to valet park for $30, not because I wanted to, but because I couldn't find a park after driving around for 20 mins. We found the Lord Baltimore on Trip Advisor, and with the reasonable rate, large corner room, and central location, it was the perfect place for us. Not a convention hotel but close to them, the LB is comfortable, nice enough, and it does have a good concierge and doormen to help you. The manager working that night, Abraham, went above and beyond to make sure our party was well taken care of. He was very friendly and personable. Plus his piano playing was captivating. I would def recommend this hotel and will stay there again in the near future.

Stayed 2 nights due to testing at John Hopkins Hospital. Lord Baltimore works with John Hopkins Hospital to help patient have a wonderful place to stay at a more than reasonable price. Vouchers for breakfast and taxi to John Hospital were brilliant! Staff, from the valets, to the bellhops, to desk personal, and food staff were all friendly and very helpful. Thanks again to the staff, management and the owners for making this service available. No question would stay again.

I arrived around 11 and and asked about check-in. The gentlemen told me it starts at 2PM. Null problemo, I went for lunch. Came back right around 2PM and I was told 2:45 maybe 3PM. OK. So sat down in the lobby and waited. Around 3 I was told 4PM. So finally I raised my eyebrows and got an "upgrade" to 17th floor. Unfortunately the view was to the other wing of the hotel but it was OK. The bed is comfy, internet OK, the bathroom - hm so they apparently recently remodeled the room and the plumber ... Read more

Pretty much the entire Hotel staff is great. Friendly and helpful. Arrived late at night. Front desk person was alone and seemed distracted. Unanswered phone rang the entire time I checked in. Pet peeve, since I stay in hotels two weeks out of every month. Often try to call the front desk from my room with no luck. Not good, on many levels. The hotel overall is a bit dark, although it is in keeping with the historic aspect, I suppose. Dark carpet, paint, wood. My room faced other guest rooms... Read more

All I can say is that it was a wonderful stay. The front-desk staff were warm and welcoming and the lobby is stunning. Truly stunning and elegant. The room was clean, crisp and very comfortable and the mattress/bed was divine. And - finally - the LB Bakery serves the BEST COFFEE. Was so happy to be able to run down there first thing and get delicious treats first-thing. This hotel is first-rate in all ways. Worth the visit. Thank you, LB Hotel for a very chic and classy visit!

My wife and I stayed for a couple of nights previous to a conference in Baltimore and really enjoyed the Lord Baltimore. Staff was friendly and helpful. They let us stay a little past normal check-out graciously. Enjoyed the proximity to everything. we walked all over the downtown area (4-8 miles/day). I would definitely stay there again!

I stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel from October 30 and checked out on Tuesday November 1, 2016. From the time I got out of my vehicle all the way to check out I was greeted with hello's and smiles as I walked into this gorgeous lobby. The room was very spacious and clean. Their LB bakery is to die for, the variety of sweets was amazing. The hotel is in a perfect location and is in short walking distance from the inner harbor, Galleria Mall and numerous of restaurants. I stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel on October 29, 2016 just for one night for Toni Braxton's Greatest Hits Tour. Originally, I was going to just drive over an hour to and from the show, but decided that morning not to. After searching Trip Advisor and Booking.com, I wanted to try a hotel that wasn't your everyday names. When I arrived, I was please with the valet! There was a taxi without a passenger blocking me from pulling all the way up, the valet came to me, assisted me with my overnight b... Read more

I had to call several times beforehand to get things straightened out (on my end, not theirs) for a work trip and each time I called, everyone was helpful. The hotel was beautiful and clean, the staff courteous, and the beds comfortable. Really enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back.

One of the best options to stay at Baltimore, a few blocks from the convention center and ravens and orioles stadium. Right in the heart of Baltimore's downtown, I highly recommend this hotel. Extra: best pillows in town.

I just have to give a shout out to Juanetta and Derrick who are both employees of Lord Baltimore who made my stay wonderful! I stayed there for 6 nights and had nothing but a pleasant experience with their staff. They were very accomodating and made my long week of work a comfortable one. The hotel itself was very nice, newly renovated, and clean. Thank you all for a great stay, I'll see you when I come back to Baltimore!

We stayed 2 nights. The hotel is very nice historic looking. The rooms were clean. It's a short walk to the inner harbor where there are great restaurants and shopping. There is a coffee shop connected with great breakfast burritos. My only complaint is the first morning the water wasn't very hot in the shower.

We had spent all day traveling before we checked into the hotel. We were greeted at the main desk by Derrek. He was awesome, got us checked in quickly and explained some things and procedures to us about our stay at the Lord Baltimore Hotel. He also helped us arrange a ride for the next morning. They really went above and beyond for us and to make our stay and trip much more easy. Thank you!

My wife and I stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel for a quick one-night getaway to see Baltimore. Overall, the hotel was very nice. The rooms, and especially the bathroom, were a little bit small, but not overly tiny. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is pretty convenient, within 10 minutes of Camden Yards and the Inner Harbor, and about 15 minutes or so from the Fells Point area. The price for this hotel (on this particular night) was about 30% lower than the hotel at which we typically stay for our annual adventure into Bawlmer. Since the two hotels are literally back-to-back, we expected the same type of feel or equivalent niceties, and this place basically met our expectations. We still prefer the other hotel for its overall ambiance, but the difference in price more than covered our meal for two at "The Factory". Trying this hotel was a worthwhile decision.

Very friendly staff, great service, and priced very well. We are a military family and they had the best discount over all the city hotels. During our trip, my mom needed some advil/tylenol and they brought some up to our room free of charge and in a timely manner. I would stay here again!

This is a good, if expensive hotel. However the rooms are incredibly noisy - there are some manhole covers on the street below that make a noise as if from a building site every time a car goes over them, and it's a busy road, and it's near a fire station so there are plenty of sirens. Decent soundproofing would improve this a lot. I was staying during a conference so breakfast was a fixed price buffet, which was a bit disappointing but understandable. The hotel itself is very dark, which is the... Read more

We stayed overnight in the Lord Baltimore, and everything from start to finish was fine and we would stay again. The building is close to the harbor area, within walking distance and with any city hotel, you hear street noice (sirens, etc.) which is no fault of the hotel, but just understand that this may happen. Our room was almost to the top floor, and was very neat and clean. Not too much view, but if you are into that, ask for it...we didn't care. It was very comfortable and well appointed. ... Read more
