I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The front desk was helpful, the rooms were clean and updated, and the bar and lounge was perfect after a long day of sightseeing. It is evident that this is an older hotel. The bathrooms in the rooms could use updating. Everything was clean. This hotel is about 1.3 miles from Baltimore Penn Station, which was our main reason for choosing it, and it is walkable in good weather. I would recommend to a friend. This place had everything you needed f... Read more

The staff was extremely professional, pleasant, and attentive as soon as you walk in. The room was beautiful, however the door felt a bit flimsy. The bathroom was very clean, but there was a draft which made it cold. Overall a great experience.

The hotel is within reasonable walking distance to the Inner Harbor, Lexington Market and the Walters Art Museum + plenty of restaurants. So a plus for location. The room was large, comfortably decorated in soft colors and clean. Another plus. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. Plus again. It is an older hotel with charm. We used the valet parking which was a bit expensive, There is a nearby lot with overnight parking for $15, but we arrived during rush hour and were happy with the co... Read more

This is a older hotel in need of some updating but I found it to be a very quaint hotel. We had a king bed room and it was clean, the bathroom was nice and clean as well. When we checked in the staff was very professional and really accommodating as well as friendly. The hotel is in a great location to the Harbor and many other food & stores within walking distance. Parking was a bit pricey unless you can find a park on the street.

I booked a room Lord Baltimore for a business trip, knowing nothing about location or it's history. Upon arriving in the middle of the night, it was like a blast from the past. Our car pulled up to the old revolving door with brass trim into a lobby reminiscent of the gilded age, complete with an interesting exhibit of Christmas trees decorated with avant-garde-type costumes. The check-in desk was small but aptly managed by a single night-clerk for those of us slowly trickling in from late fl... Read more

From check-in to check-out, the staff could not have been nicer. We received a spacious and lovely corner room. We ate at the Lord Baltimore Tavern and had a fabulous grilled salmon club sandwich with delicious seasoned fries. The bartender (don't know his name) was very efficient and personable. He directed us to one of their choices of draft beer which was excellent! The lobby was gorgeous as was the dining room at the top of the stairs. I felt like I was at Versailles. Plus, you can't ... Second time our work group has used Lord Baltimore for our meeting. The age of the hotel brings a unique elegance without sacrificing comfort. Location is convenient to much of the downtown area, either by a short walk or by taxi/uber. Staff is super friendly and always offering to help. If you looking to get away from the brand name hotels, this place is worth checking out.

I had a corner room, so double the windows, in the winter. The windows do NOTHING to stop the cold. The heater in the room is challenging to master, but by the 4th night it was finally adjusted appropriately. The bathroom has no heat, but does have a window to refrigerate it. And my showers were sometimes able to reach luke warm temperature. I did have a lovely view from the 15th floor of the junkies and vagabonds peeing on the public transit stop across the street. And as little cold as the wi... Read more

The staff was great. We enjoyed our visit to the bar to get dinner as we did not want to walk the streets in and area we did not now. Parking yes high but I felt much safer. We were in town for a college football game and if I had it to do over again I would have checked the distance to the college we were going to. That had nothing to do with the hotel or the staff.. That was my fault. Would have loved to been in the area in the day time and looked around but quick trip in and out.. Thank you L... Read more
