I was pleased to stay at the Lord Baltimore this last Tuesday on my birthday. The sad part was that I was alone because of my husband's stay in the ICU at University. I was pleasantly greeted by the manager Kevin which really was very comforting to me after the two prior days I had. The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. I ended up having to stay again the following night due to my husband's decline in condition. Again greeted with a warm smile an... Read more

I had a lovely stay at the hotel. I would stay there again. The front desk staff was kind and the lobby bar was relaxing. I had a problem with the valet back in Nov2016. My toll money in the about of $41 dollars went missing. I had not moved my car from the time I arrived till the day I departed the Hotel. I was able to report the situation to the front desk staffer. I hope they have remedy the situation because trust is a big thing when a guest turns their vehicle over to the valet staffers.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff was nice. There is a bar that serves food all day. The food is pretty good but pricey. There is a bakery that is open until 2am. The coffee and sandwiches were good. I would stay again.

The attraction of Historic hotels is why we chose the Lord Baltimore. It's a little rough around the edges. the room was however, great. Very comfortable, large, and full of light. We had a corner king. The welcoming and valet were very minimal. the house staff in general were adequate, 3/5 stars. The lounge was also very adequate only. The LB bakery was like the room itself the only real highlights.

Worst hotel ever stayed at. Room was grey and black with essentially nonexistent exterior light source and inadequate interior lighting. Once magnificent lobby was renovated with tasteless modern grey walls. Hotel was freezing cold with difficult heating regulator. Window could not be fully closed so drapes had to be closed to avoid frigid air from pouring into room. Reception check-in was surly. No true room service, poor food options. Avoid this place.

Very nice restored old world hotel. Rooms are comfortable and relatively large. Atmosphere is calm and classy. Restaurant s matching and food is good. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. It is located at the outskirts of the inner harbor area, convenient to all inner harbor attractions and restaurants. Only drawback is the location can get a bit seedy late at night.

We were in Baltimore to participate in The Women's March on Washington and so were a lot of other like minded people. The hotel is wonderful. It has three great food options, starting with a patisserie, a tavern type, and a beautiful dining room that serves breakfast & dinner. We had great selections at all three dining choices. The lobby is huge and furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs as well as intimate seating areas to catch up with friends & family. The rooms have been redone rec... Read more

The facility has been wonderfully restored. Granted some of the old charm that remains like the tubs, sinks and toilets are old to maintain it's old charm that some may not like. I think it's cool. Stayed here a yr ago and had a small room overlooking a flat roof and HVAC equipment. This time I has a wonderful upper floor. Good view but a little drafty. Second stay was much more relaxing. Staff was great. Food, drink and pastiies pricey but you can get around that. Each floor also ha... Read more

The hotel has been recently renovated, but has kept much of the charm of a historic building. The lobby is gorgeous, and the elevator and hallways were clean and well lit. The rooms themselves are modern overall, with footprints that are unique to older buildings like the very large marble window sill in the bathroom. However, it appeared that the renovation/rehabilitation stopped at the bathtub. The tub itself is fine, but the tile around the tub had mildew growing out on all the grout joints. ... Read more

We have stayed at the Lord Baltimore Hotel twice now. This is now our go-to hotel in Baltimore. It's in a great location. You have to do a little walking to the touristy areas, but we don't mind the exercise. Check in has been fast both times we stayed there. The rooms are very nice, spacious, and clean!
