Well, Got to the hotel, parked in the underground parking lot, which was being remodeled, was dusty as hell and parking was tight. There was no clear directions as to which door to go in to reach hotel, me and my son was walking around talking to security through an intercom system on locked doors, final a guy that was at the underground parking entry booth pointed us in the right direction. There were two guys past the valet parking area that we told them where we parked which was under hotel, ... Read more

The heater was broken and although repaired broke again in the middle of the night at 2 am resulting in a cold room. The heater looked like it's been repaired recently given the stains on the wall around the heater. The next morning, the front desk staff was asked to find another room if the heater was not repaired. That evening the front desk staff indicated the heater was fine but when I entered the room the heater was still broken. Finally the manager moved me to a different room.

The Hyatt Bethesda has recently been remodeled and it's very nice inside. Lots of improvements made to sleeping rooms, fitness center and meeting space. Very convenient to metro stop and easy walking to near by restaurants.

I need to stay in this hotel 2-3 times a year at least. I really enjoyed my recent stay because the new modern design is simple and chic. the front desk staff have been very helpful. I forgot to bring my slippers; the hotel staff provided a new pair without charge. They are really very thoughtful.

I have stayed at this property 4-5 times per year for more than 15 years. While I've always liked the location of the property, in the middle of Bethesda and right by the Metro station, it was very tired. They have just finished an extensive renovation to where the interior gives a much more modern impression, the rooms are quite nice, and the water pressure in the shower is finally what one would expect. The AC/heating system, though, is still more noisy than one would want, so I would avoid st... Read more

As some of other reviewers have noted, there is construction going on. The elevators are slow to come but are being replaced (soon?). The hotel has an open atrium. Parking is reasonable at $12 a day with a similar price being charged at a garage across the street in back of the hotel. The room was very nice with thermostat in room. The room was quiet and as noted very convenient to metro. The restaurant is good. Lots of good restaurants nearby as well. The staff was hgelpful and friendly.

The hotel is located in the upmarket area of Maryland and while unassuming on the outside, it is grand in scale on the inside. The decor throughout the hotel is simplistic with the hotel choosing to take a clean line approach to decor and furniture. The hotel outsources its dining facilities and breakfast is not included in the accommodation package. The hotel has a good, clean gym that is equipped with the basic range of workout machines and I enjoyed using the facilities. I would recommend thi... Read more

While I was only there for one day, I enjoyed my short stay and would come back if the opportunity presented itself. No gift shop, but if your able to walk there are places to shop nearby. Self-parking is available.

Very enjoyable stay. Friendly staff. Clean and reasonably priced. Two minutes from Metro station so DC is a breeze to get to. Restaurants galore and a shopping mecca nearby. Parking a bit of a hassle, but it is not Hyatt's garage. Would stay again.
