My family and I stayed at Admiral Fell Inn the weekend of the Preakness. Obviously, this is a busy weekend for hotels in Baltimore. With that came a disagreement between the manager and me regarding the prior agreed upon rate. Being a high rate weekend, the hotel offers no discounted rooms although I was promised one by two employees. Without getting into specifics and dragging this out, I'll try to cut to the chase. After check-in I received a call in my room from the hotel manager, Mario. We... Read more

Older Hotel in a great location. Visiting Baltimore for 1 night and my entire group stayed here at my COO's recommendation. It was clean, and cosy. It was situated on a great little street with restaurants, and little shops. The photograph doesn't do it justice. I loved the self serve hot chocolate with marshmellows!

We got married here on New Year's Eve. It was magical. The hotel's ambience served as a great backdrop for our formally attired, champagne-popping, late-night carousing wedding party and guests. That we could enjoy the midnight fireworks from the 5th-floor balcony, and then spill out onto the charming streets of Fells Point for the after-party, made this venue so appealing. Our only regret is that we did not have enough party and energy left in us, (perhaps it was the booze) to keep up with wh... Read more

Have traveled to Baltimore twice within the past year and loved both trips. Baltimore is a marvelous place. Stayed at the Admiral Fell Inn. A very nice place to stay and everyone was helpful and pleasant. The room and facilities were quite above average. All in all I had a great time.

We stayed for one night for a quick getaway. Being a Friday night we paid top dollar which was a bit high for what we got. The room was tiny, tiny, tiny and we had a view of the backside of a building. Luckily we didn't spend much time there. The hotel is clean and in a good location. It was lovely to wake up Saturday morning to a farmers market steps from the front door. Parking was pricey but convenient. Overall it was average.

I recently stayed at this hotel for business. Great location. The hotel is clean and customer service was great. The hotel and furniture is older but it has a bit of charm. I only stayed one night. I would stay again for a 1 - 2 day business trip. For a longer stay I would want a more up to date hotel.

Booked this hotel months ago. We have a tiny room right outside of the kitchen. My friends booked 2 weeks ago. They are on the 4 th floor. Normal size room with breakfast included and a cheaper price. My other friend booked 2 weeks ago and he has a normal room on the 3rd floor, cheaper as well. Btw, have stayed here about 6-8 times since 1990. They said they will give us a different room tomorrow. HERES HOPING!

We spent a recent night at the Admiral Fell Inn. The check-in was seamless, with Mario at the front desk making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. I was concerned about the street noise given the location of our room, and he immediately switched us to something quieter. The hotel is definitely dated and in desperate need of a renovation. But great location and good value.

We stayed here for my fiancé's birthday weekend and they definitely gave us more than a 5 star treatment as if we are the only guest in this hotel. The staff will pay attention to every guests needs and will gladly assist you. Patrick, Karim, Roland, Donna and this other young lady that i forgot her name went above and beyond. We will definitely book this hotel again!

Each of its rooms is named with a plaque commemorating a historic figure (I stayed in Fredrick Douglas' room), has operable double sash windows divided by small panes that admit fresh air, and has simply elegant furniture that imparts comfort. Location of the Admiral Fell is great, and it looked online as though it was one of the better properties in the inner harbor area. Everything was old and worn out, both in the common areas and especially the room we were in. This didn't really hit "quaint", more just an interesting old building that's seen better days.
