I found this online and it looked beautiful and charming and it was perfect for y first trip to Baltimore. As soon as I got there the valet was very nice and helpful, the scent of grilled burgers wafted through the air and it smelled delicious! Once I got settled into my room I went to the LB Tavern and ordered the burger and fries. The burger was absolutely to die for and the fries were just as amazing. The staff is very friendly and helpful with giving directions to local places to visit. I de... Read more

I arrived at the hotel on Friday, May 20 at about 3:00. The two associates behind the front desk were very friendly and helpful and seemed to be enjoying their work. I went to the room and realized it was not the room I had requested (I had called a few days earlier requesting some specifics). When I came back down to the front desk, the manager by the name of Abraham was helpful and ended up giving me a better room. The men running the Valet were so friendly and helpful. We ended up with a club level suite which was immaculate and full of light. The rooms were quite large, and everything was updated and modern, not at all what I was expecting from a reasonably-priced older hotel. The hotel was an easy walk to the Inner Harbor. Don't be late for the club-level breakfast: it was supposed to have stayed open until 9 but they closed it at 8:30. The Skybar had terrible service but a great view and comfortable seating.

Other than a few small cons, we loved this hotel. We did book 2 rooms for a large group of women, and when we checked in the rooms were not adjoining, and the staff was unable to accommodate any changes, which was disappointing. Breakfast at the French Kitchen (the hotel breakfast buffet) the next morning was overpriced and not very good, but the hotel staff was quick to resolve our complaints in a manner that exceeded expectations and reinforced my good impression of the hotel in general. This hotel's 3.5 star rating was right on point, given it was reasonably priced and has a great location within walking distance of the inner harbor and Camden yards. the public areas were very nice, and the rooms themselves were very large. I also liked the open air rooftop bar on the 19th floor. I think the bathrooms in the rooms could have been nicer - seemed outdated and small, and both clean enough but kinda dark and dingy at the same time, as it's an older hotel. I also found it a little o... Read more

It was a pleasant surprise to find this nice hotel. Location is about 10 minutes walk from the Harbour. The room is very large and clean even though the building is old. It is an historical building. The parking was off site about 5 minutes walk. They gave the parking complimentary. I was concerned about security but I felt safe. I highly recommend this hotel.

From the moment we pulled up and the valet took our car, we had nothing but first class service. The front desk was prompt and courteous. Valet was also very accommodating when we left a bag in the car that we needed. They ran back to the parking garage to retrieve it. Our room was very nice on the corner of the building so we had views both directions. Very clean and beds were super comfy. The lobby was also classy and well maintained. We pulled up to the hotel minutes after getting off highway. It was easy to find. We valet parked the car. It would have been cheaper and just as easy to park it in one of the many public lots. We were in town for the Homebrew Convention so we opted to valet park we weren't driving anywhere.. Checking in was a piece of cake, the room was as request had a king size bed and was well off the ground floor. The room was neat and clean. The walk daily to the convention center took maybe five... Denaija, otherwise known as "D", at tbe front desk is a true asset to this hotel. She gave my coworker and I great recommendations of local attractions and tbe aquarium was terrific. She is professional, knowledgeable and truly engaged with guests. The hotel is within walking distance to the inner harbor and features beautifully restored architecture.

I stayed for 3 nights and was extremely pleased. First I should mention that I have travelled for business for 25 years and frequently stay in high end hotels from Marriott to Hyatt to Westin. I tend to trust the high end chains known for high standards. However, in this instance I was more than pleasantly surprised by the LBH! All staff were outstanding, particularly housekeeping, the 17th floor happy hour server, front desk etc. the room was clean and extremely comfortable. In fact, I had to s... Read more

I was really disappointed by the Lord Baltimore Hotel - paid nearly $200 to stay the night in a double queen room, expecting four star service, cleanliness, and amenities. After reading some of the reviews here, I thought others were just being picky, but this really in no way resembles a four star hotel - it would be a mediocre three star, more accurately (aside from the well-decorated lobby), a two star. At check-in, the staff were more concerned with talking to each other than checking in gu... Read more

We had a room with a King bed. My Wife and I had family surprise us for a visit, but wouldn't all fit with the King Bed. Ashlie Calloway, Assistant Guest Services Manager, was very accommodating and changed our room mid stay for one with 2 Queen beds. This was a great help for our family and made our trip that much more special.

This is a nice clean boutique type hotel that has the feel of an old grand hotel pst its prime. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The small bar had a friendly staff and served good sandwiches fro the restaurant. The parking leaves a lot to be desired though. The parking garage is a couple of blocks from the hotel so unless you vallet park it inconvenient and still expensive. I don't know how much the vallet parking is. We came for an event at the Royal Foods Arena during the July 4th weekend in 2016. We found the front desk and other staff very friendly and helpful. Our room was a deluxe double queen and seemd recently renovated. The decor was in good taste, the beds were excellent, and all the appliances worked flawlessly. During your next stay in Baltimore make sure to check out this hotel. Very cool historic hotel only blocks from the inner harbor. The staff was very helpful and friendly especially Abraham Esquivel the director of operations who went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. I now have new friends and a new hotel that I will consider my home away from home when traveling to the Baltimore area. :) Jennifer

I only had one night at The Lord Baltimore hotel. It is in a great location, within walking distance to the inner harbor area, lots of places to eat around and some shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful and the rooms are clean and nicely equipped. I asked for a hair dryer in my reservation and it was in my room when I got there. The front desk staff were great and helpful.. The hotel was also very flexible since I had to change my reservation and leave early.

Large room, GREAT beds, pillows and linens, a short walk to the Convention Center. Lounge food OK but you are not far from some great waterfront eateries or a quick cab to Little Italy (a little too dangerous for women to walk alone). A nice alternative to the more sterile contemporary hotels nearby. We were lucky to be there when the rooftop bar was open and truly enjoyed summer evenings under the stars! Desk folks were very pleasant. We requested extra towels each day and never received any... Read more

Staff is great, very authentic and warm. Friendly and accommodating lounge staff, always makes a great meal for me even when I run really really late.

We stayed July 8 for one night. We didn't realize until the morning after we arrived home that my husband had left behind in our room his electric toothbrush. I called the front desk who asked me what room we were in and they told me that a toothbrush had not been turned in by the cleaning staff. I told her that it has to be there, we went straight home from the hotel. She didn't offer to allow me to speak to a manager or to speak to the cleaning staff supervisor. I won't stay here again.

We stayed for two nights at the Lord Baltimore and had a very good experience overall. The front desk staff was beyond polite, the WiFi was free, and the room was clean and modern. The location of the hotel is nice enough. People unused to living in a city might find it a little rough, but it seemed equally safe to most downtown hotel locations I have stayed. Recently stated at the lord BALTIMORE hotel. They seem to think their a 4 star hotel but actually it's more like a dressed up 2 star hotel. The furniture is cheesy looks like ikea. First, the good: The Lord Baltimore Hotel is an absolutely beautiful building. Rooms are comfortable, if not overly spacious, and the staff was helpful and accommodating. The public spaces are grand and gracious. The not-as-good: My biggest complaint was the very large window in my bathroom - the glass is frosted, so this isn't a privacy complaint, but rather to do with the amount of light that enters the bathroom, and therefore the room itself early in the morning. I checked in after dark and... Read more

We've stayed at this hotel before and it's good value for what you did. We didn't love the hotel but we did enjoy our stay and the rooms were clean (although a bit stuffy and the bathrooms are really small). Overall, a nice experience. As a Bride planning a wedding in Baltimore, it was an easy process to set up the block of rooms at this hotel at a fair price (although some guests found better rates when they booked from 3rd party vendors and used that method). My wife and I enjoyed a nice one night stay here while attending an Orioles game. It is a great location - easy walking distance to the stadiums, the harbor, federal hill and Little Italy. Very comfortable king sized bed. It was very hot the days we were there and I was concerned that the air conditioning at a historic hotel would struggle to keep up, but both our room and the lobby were delightfully cool.

All - The following front desk staff were outstanding. Glen -- Morning Shifts. Always willing to serve with any customers request! Tiffany -- Evening Shift. When I arrived at 10pm (train problems); she was smiling & eased my tension by registering so late. When asked for closet drug store opened at that hour...she NOT ONLY looked up stores open at that hour...she was able to supply me what I needed. While smiling the entire 20 mins with her. :)
