The rooms are a bit worn, but very clean and there were enough outlets in the room to charge my devices. Wifi was a bit slow sometimes. The staff was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, but a bit short-staffed at times at the front desk (long 1 p.m. check-in line). There is no concierge so to ask them to call a taxi you had to wait in the check-in or check-out line to talk to someone at the front desk. Perhaps a dedicated phone in the lobby to a taxi service might be a good idea since it isn't... Read more

Stayed here for a conference at the convention center. Location was great, 1 short block away. Easily walkable to inner harbor restaurants and attractions. Hotel room was perfectly fine but nothing special. Staff at check in were very helpful, but it took 2 tries to get the right receipt at check out (showing my colleague and I had each paid 1/2 of charge). Little shop in lobby was convenient but pricey. Light rail to BWI only a block away.

I want to thank all the staff who works at the restaurant especially the GM for the restaurant who goes above and beyond to assist me. I would definitely stay at this hotel again during my next personal visit to Baltimore. We recently spent one month at this facility, and while the hotel itself wasn't the nicest I've stayed in, the staff overall were very friendly and hospitable. There was nothing I needed. There was nothing really that the staff could have done to make the stay more uncomfortable. Lore, Richard, Davon, Lidet, and Patrick were all wonderful, and spent a lot of time conversing with me. My 2 night stay May 29 and May 30 was an experience. First let me say the room was immaculate; as was the lobby, hallways and eating establishments. Breakfast buffet a bit pricey for the limited selection but nevertheless tasty and the staff were top flight. Now, herein lies the rub. Baltimore, albeit, has a wonderful water-taxi system that takes you to many of the must see sights. Camden Yards is a 10 minute walk down the road. Choose this hotel because it was so close to Camden Yards (go Orioles!) Very good option. Everything was nice, can't offer up a criticism of any kind. Room was clean, beds were nice, had everything we needed in the room, staff was friendly. Small bar downstairs was nice. Free wifi. Good restaurants within walking distance. And had a nice kiosk in the lobby to look up restaurants and other things nearby.

Clean room, we were in the "West Tower." Accommodated early check in. Strange noises during the night, sounding like an a/c unit in another room malfunctioning. Paper thin walls so privacy was scarce. Pleasant, helpful staff. Wifi was sporadic at best.

The room was very clean and spacious and the check in staff was very friendly but that's about all I have for positive feedback. We were told of the parking garage around the side of the building which was a one floor, limited space garage. We were lucky to have found a spot. We were also told of the elevator down in the garage that would take us to our room. We took the elevator as instructed only to find our room was not in that wing. It then became a maze just to find our room. Upon arrival... Read more

This side of Baltimore offers very few places for breakfast, especially if you are attending a nearby event. Even though the staff at the restaurant in the Holiday Inn were standing around doing nothing, but talking; we stood there waiting to be seated. Finally my son asked for a rag to clean off the table. Basically, we were just ignored.

I stayed here in May 2016 for a nearby conference. It was conveniently located; I was able to run to the waterfront in the morning and zip over to the conference during the day. The hotel itself was a bit rundown, though I appreciated the helpful staff members at the front desk and the ease of check-in/check-out. I had no major issues and would be happy to stay here again, primarily because of the location.

We stayed here for a bachelor party that included the bars and an O's game. The staff was very friendly at check-in. It was like 1-2 blocks to the bars and game. We were in the West Tower building. The rooms were clean and the ac was on when we got there so no walking into a stifling room on a 80+ degree day. The elevators were slow. Beware that parking will cost you $28 per day. But again, for the convenience and the little time that we spent in the room, the hotel worked for us.

My niece and I stayed here because we had a family member in ICU at University of Maryland medical center, and this was conveniently located. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the room was spacious and clean, the beds amazingly comfortable, and everything as it should be. The price was lower than other places I checked(special rate for hospital guests), so I was very happy! Had breakfast in the dining room, and it was perfect.

Stayed here with our grandchildren. The location is close to the inner harbor, stadium and other sites. Parking area is small for larger vehicles and expensive, $28 for overnight. Breakfast in their restaurant was also expensive but the servers were very nice. The lobby and restaurant look refurbished but the rooms seemed tired. Our room did have a microwave and fridge. The kids wanted to swim but the pool water was not clear and the area had a funny smell. Did not stay a second night.

My husband and I stayed here because we were in town for a grad party. WAY overpriced! The toilet in our room didn't flush and the air conditioner made noises all night. The hotel is five or so blocks from the harbor so it's not like you're paying to be close to everything because you are not. We traveled to Baltimore to catch a few Red Sox games at Camden Yards, and this hotel was just two blocks from the ball park. The hotel is a VERY short walk to the ball park and we walked both there and back after a night game and felt safe at all times. There are plenty of people walking so you are never "alone". As for the hotel itself, the room was quite comfortable and clean. The bathroom was small and if the toilet seat was down, you could not close the door! We stayed in the other tower and the walk, although short, was quite HOT as the AC... Read more

If I wasn't here because of a professional meeting for which the group reserved this location, I wouldn't stay here a second night. The hotel is old and worn. While it appears they've tried to update it (newer wallpaper, carpets, headboard and night stands), my room has a perfumy scent that seems to be an effort to mask the staleness of the rooms. The bathroom is stained and yellowing, the switch plates are yellowed and the halls are stuffy. I can see this being a sufficient space for anyone wa... Read more

I stayed here for a very quick visit during a conference. Great location but that's about it. The carpets and lamp shades are stained, and I didn't get much sleep do to the noise from the air conditioner and the fire trucks (you're literally right across from a fire station). If you were going to an Orioles/Ravens game and had enough beer it would be a good spot but not for business or if you need a decent nights sleep.

My room was a little tired and outdated but whatever. I understand it's on the list. My view was looking into Camden yards which was great as the O's won in extra innings that night. But one thing this property needs to address immediately is the F & B operation. It's embarrassing. There was zero on the menu that was slightly creative so I figured I'll just get a Ceasar salad and be done with it. The Salad came out dressing on the side? Really??? A Ceasar salad not tossed? Was I at Denny's? N... Read more

A group of 7 women booked this hotel for 1 night before a cruise. We had 2 suites which were quite nice. Each had a bedroom with pull out sofa and a settee and 1 bathroom. Only critism was the bad condition of the sofa - it had no support, was dirty and very uncomfortable. Checking in we met a lovely young woman, Jacinta, who was friendly and helpful. The bellhop who helped us with our luggage was also friendly and helpful. It was not communicated when making the reservation that each room... Read more

Was in town to catch a couple of Orioles games. The Inner Harbor Holiday Inn is a located about a block from Camden Yards which made for a nice quick walk after the game. Also only right around the corner from the Convention Center stop on the light rail. Saved a lot of money by not having to cab it to and from the airport. Our limited experience with the staff was quite pleasant. We arrived on a very early flight and reached the hotel at 9:00 am thinking we would drop our bags and head out... Read more

Every member of the staff that we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful (Jacinta, Lore, Shanisia, and Udet just to name a few!). The customer service was excellent!! During our stay the remote control for one of our TVs was not working and a staff member was immediately at our door with a new remote. Also Richard Thomas expedited help I needed with my account and sent me a receipt and he was so accommodating. Thank you guys so much! Also the bartenders were so awesome, quick and professional.

I am not one person to leave a negative review on somebody's site. And this my stay at this hotel started off wonderful. We were given a great surprise to celebrate my sister's birthday and everybody at the front desk was super nice. But that's where it ends. At the end of our two-night stay we found dirty socks hidden in the corner and dirt under serving tray but I was still willing to overlook that. Stayed at this hotel for almost a week. If you want to eat or sleep this is not the place for you. First off it is directly across the street from a fire department so you can imagine the noise that comes with that, it is also on the main route for ambulances going to the local hospital. Add to that the beds are like sleeping on a rock and the doors for the rooms are ridiculously load when closing. So "sleep"? Not so much. Second we come to the food & staff. When booking this hotel we were told it was close to John Hopkins Hospital which we needed & they had a shuttle bus. The hotel was great, but my son had to go downstairs for Wifi cuz it didn't work in room. No shuttle bus, it wasn't close to hospital. There was a fire station down the road which meant sleeping was at a minimum in the wee hours. Great for people that visit Camden Yards & shopping downtown, not far from the harbour.

What stood out about the hotel and our stay was the staff. All the staff we met were willling, friendly and helpful from the front desk, to the restuarant to the front end cafe and so on. In particular, Patrick with LAZ Parking (with the hotel) was very helpful during our visit - thank you, Patrick. The hotel room was somewhat average, but clean and had a great shower. Good location and within a 10-min short walk from the inner harbor.

On business, it's what you would expect from a Holiday Inn property. Hoilday Inn is noted for the family friendly type of hotel. With that being said here are a couple of tips for the families. When I would call for a resevation, I would always ask, do you have any great rates available? Many years ago this was a word of mouth tip. The great rate (limitednumber) would be lower the standard rate at that property. When staying at this hotel, the side facing Lombard Street, is also home to a ... Read more

I stayed here on business, it was a terrible experience... Location - directly across from a BUSY Fire Station, and train line, the noise is terrible. All in all the Hotel Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant, always smiling and helpful. The only downside was that the hotel is situated across the street from the Fire department and the train runs along Howard street, which gives a myriad of sounds throughout the night. The rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is friendly but I would not eat at the hotel. I ordered a steak dinner in the lounge and it was over cooked (ordered medium and it was way well done. No pink at all). In the morning I went down prepared to pay for the buffet, they only had a sit down meal and I paid more than the standard $8.00 per meal when a restaurant is attached to a Holiday Inn. Quite disappointing and expensive.
