Used to be owned by Best Western, I think it was probably disowned by the company. The hotel is dingy and not well maintained. The weekend we were there the single elevator was down with no signs of any efforts to repair it. On check in, we were told we got only have one key (for two guests with different schedules). After 5 minutes of the front desk insisting they were "out" of room keys, we told them we would not be able to stay in the hotel. At that point, a spare key magically appeared. Ther... Read more

Stayed there for a reunion weekend with girl friends, and we were nervous about the people lingering on the bus stop outside the hotel. Elevator still broken(wanted to give us a room on the 7th floor, but we said no way!), a dirty bath towel and someone's hair on the bedsheets. What else can I say? Maybe spend $$ more for a better hotel??

The location is pretty much the only good thing about this hotel. When we checked in we were told our room was on the 5th floor and then they told us the elevator was broken. In the room we found a big hole in the wall behind one of the beds, the AC unit made a loud banging noise, there was only a half a roll of TP and no extra rolls anywhere, and there was a strange odor in the hallway and the room.

When walking up this hotel we didn't get a good feeling. There were two bus stops right in front of the hotel and a lot of people just hanging out in front of the "we buy gold" store next door. We'd arrived early and asked if we could check in early. The clerk acted like we were asking for something outrageous. He was extremely rude and said to come back later. After hanging out in the dingy lobby for a while, we decided to leave an find another hotel. We did this even though we know we could no... Read more

Wonderful position in town, at walking pace from everything, Mount Vernon and the harbor. Had the best time ever. Staff was friendly and very nice to me, accepting my requests. It would be lovely to stay here again

I cannot stress to individual's enough - do NOT stay at this property, you will deeply regret it, and most likely, be forced to check out immediately. I needed a room last minute and booked through a third party website for a "3.5 star hotel " --- and then was told my reservation was at this hell hole - unsure of how it can be even called a hotel, someone needs to strip them of that. By the way, they are NOT RATED BY THE BBB. I arrive shortly after 9pm scared as all hell by the unsavory characte... Read more

When I pulled up I thought I might have made a mistake and found the local methadone clinic (based on the crowd around the front door). when I realized this was my hotel my first thought was that my girlfriend must have been angry with me when she made my reservation. The very young front desk kid informed me that the elevator was broken (manual only) and that if I wanted to come down I would have to call the front desk...something I tried to do later and failed ....either because he wasn't ther... After booking, read some negative reviews so was understandably wary on arrival. Yes- the building is dated. Yes- there are bus stops outside. But neither were a problem. Yes- the receptionist had earphones in. But she took them out, she was polite, helpful and apologised when she took a call while we were checking in. Yes - the lift went up but not down and could only be operated by staff. We were on the 3rd floor and we used the stairs to come down! The room was fine- fridge, hairdryer and co... Read more

Simple as that!! Go somewhere else I usually don't write reviews but I will help the next person out with this one. No words could describe my stay. If I didn't love Beyonce I would have left and gone back to NJ. The customer service was good front desk was helpful. The elevator is broken and needs to be used manually. So you have to wait for someone from downstairs to come get you from you floor. We were on the seventh go figure. The beds were comfortable though I will give it that but it coul... Read more

This hotel is in front of a bus stop so people are standing in front of the hotel. The staff is pleasant and helpful. check in was quick and easy. The elevator didn't work properly so the staff has to take you to your floor and bring you back to the lobby. The front light in the room didn't work. The room was small but clean. The hotel was quiet and I felt very safe. The hotel breakfast needs to be revamped. The english muffins had mold on them the eggs, sausage, and other food wasn't good eit... Read more

I was in Baltimore for a convention this weekend but could not afford some of the high priced hotels I was finding. I found a great deal on Hotels.com that would give me Thursday through Sunday for a little over $300.Sold! I saw some poor reviews and prepared myself for the worse only to find a perfectly comfortable and respectable hotel. The breakfast was good and fresh everyday. It was barely three blocks from the convention center so a comfortable easy walk to everything. The bus stop people ... Read more

If you spend a lot of time in your hotel room, this isn't the place for you. But, if you merely use it to sleep, you might consider this moderately priced hotel. The beds are comfortable and the room is clean, bu the room is small (verging on claustrophobic). The front desk is helpful and friendly. Checking in is a bit disconcerting. One must park outside, in front of the hotel, in a bus lane, and sprint to the front desk before you back up traffic on East Fayette Street (a main thoroughf... Read more

This hotel was a good choice for us. Spacious rooms with everything we needed for a one night stay. The staff were as polite as I've came across and very helpful. Only downside was the hotel is right next to the court and there was a few ropey people hanging around outside. If you're going to use taxis don't let them put you off.
