Generally expensive, congested front entrance, $34 per night to park your car on top of the cost of the room, rooms are dated, sink cabinet was broken, toilet took 30 minutes to refill.. Just not the Embassy you may be used to.. Oh and the internet, $12/24hrs and yes HHonors was available but the paid Embassy log in page overrode the complimentary page.. Also says it's location is Inner Harbor, not so much. There is a Hilton Garden just down the road.. That would be my recommendation

Although a few blocks up the hill from the waterfront, this Embassy Suites is very convenient to downtown and accessing the Inner Harbor. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. At every turn, there was someone to assist if I had a question or concern. A few tips: Valet parking is $34/night; however, there is $16/night parking in the lot located right next door to the hotel. There is the usual free buffet-styled breakfast and evening happy hour with free drinks and light appetizer... Read more

We stayed for one night, had several rooms booked. On arrival (about 1:30 pm), one room was not ready. We finally got the call saying the room was ready about 5 pm. The room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. But the layout was awkward. A large area is taken up by the "kitchenette" area (sink, fridge, micro, coffeemaker, etc.), while the bathroom is the size of a closet. Not the usual Embassy Suites room. And it's all a bit dated. As a Hilton Honors member, I was supposed to have free wi... Read more

We stayed at this Embassy Suites Hilton which was in a great location. We flew in from Florida for our niece's graduation from Johns Hopkins University. We stayed at an embassy suites in VAand needed a place for the night on our way through Baltimore. I should have stayed at the hyatt at inner harbor again. We were on the 26th floor. It's a tall but narrow building so it altars all the rooms are near the elevators and ate very noisy. The roon was small, decor was outdated, and there was no drain stop for the tub. The website didn't say the pool was closed, I was really looking forward to the pool. The complementary breakfast buffet was great... Read more

My wife & I recently stayed here for 2 nights and were very satisfied. The staff could not have been more friendly & helpful. We travel a great deal and we don't recall any place we have stayed that has had such great staff. Our room was spacious , quiet & clean. It;s about a 10 minute walk to the Inner Harbor. They have free wifi & breakfast plus a complimentary drink & snack reception each night from 5:30-7:30. You will pay for parking but there is a garage next door for $16/day.

The location is very convenient to Inner Harbor and the baseball stadium. Easy 15 minute walk. But the hotel itself has some deficiencies. In a 37 floor building with 4 elevators you need the elevators working efficiently - they do not and they also have ridiculously low weight limits so can't fit anyone. Oh but be ware of the stairs - the stairwell is tiny and by the afternoon stinky with garbage. And the the Happy hour is not so happy - if you don't line up early you wait forever.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night to see a Sunday baseball game. We were told check in was 4 pm and when we arrived at noon was told it shouldn't be too long until the room is ready. We decided to walk to inner harbor and visit the aquarium and do some shopping. Thank goodness we did because our room was not ready until 6:00 pm!!! This was an excellent hotel with large rooms. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and the evening reception (free drinks!). It is located next to a public parking garage, which is helpful as there is no onsite parking. It was an easy and safe 10-15 minute walk down to the harbor. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Inner Harbor area.

Great location, approx 6 blocks from inner harbor. Easy drive to Johns Hopkins from the hotel. Clean, convenient, comfy beds, spacious rooms and an exceptional breakfast. Our bathroom was very small and the bath/shower old. Happy hour offers free adult beverages. Though the free food at happy hour was plentiful, the variety was limited. We stayed at the Baltimore Embassy Suites for a conference that was 0.8 miles away. Though there were closer hotels it seems like a short walk, but it was quite a different experience: The hotel was nice, an older place that had been updated with newer features. The staff was VERY nice and the happy hour was most generous. It had a refreshing pool, but you could only us it from 8AM until 8PM. If you were at a meeting that hardly was possible. We have stayed at this hotel for business trips three times over the past 4-5 years. The first few times we had nothing but good things to say about it. This time, we had a horrible experience. I can handle many things in a hotel - but a dirty room is not one of them. Cleanliness is my #1 concern. When we checked in to Room #3609, I found hairs that were not ours on the sheets. It's an OK hotel, but not as well maintained as other Embassy Suites. Not all rooms are suites, which was fine for my needs; just be careful and ensure you reserve the type of room you need. My room had the following issues: Took 15 minutes for hot water to work. Tub was very slow to drain. There was a heavy build up of dust in the bathroom vent (had to be at least 6 months if not more). Staff had attitudes toward guest and didn't seem to want to make the experience a good one. This was for a business event for nurses and we were very unhappy with how we felt while there. The suites in this hotel are amazing!!! Very spacious! Breakfast is great. Evening reception is good. Pool is freezing though. I'd suggest using Uber to go down to the Inner Harbor. Parking down there is very expensive. also, the hotel is in kind of a sketchy neighborhood. Wouldn't feel safe walking. We tried to walk to a store & some guy kept coming after us looking for money.

The hotel is a great value with good room sizes and a great breakfast included. The two rooms are a great amenity and there is lots of space. It is nearby the Inner Harbor, but a walk at night and not exactly the safest walk. So, I recommend highly this hotel if you are out in the daytime, but if you are roaming around at night-it may not be right for some.

I spent a night at the Baltimore Inner Harbor location. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a fantastic stay. FYI - the hotel is not on the harbor; it's about a half mile walk (very easy). Might save some money and park in the deck directly next door (vs valet).

Staff was great. The breakfast offered is a little chaotic mostly because of the physical layout of room. Our room was clean and comfortable. First of all, this hotel has way too many first or second time reviewers, which I see as a bad sign that the hotel is trying to game the system. The hotel room was well furnished. The beds were comfortable. The service throughout the hotel was friendly, professional, and catered to any need of any guest, no matter the age. The breakfast buffet was excellent, but if you came in the middle of the "rush", you might be competing with close to 200 people wanting to get to the same lines as you. Going early was a benefit (within the first hour the buffet opened). Due to the age of the building, the hotel had four small elevators. When people w... Read more

As a Bride planning a wedding in Baltimore, it was an easy process to set up the block of rooms at this hotel at a fair price (although some guests found better rates when they booked from 3rd party vendors and used that method). They do offer a complementary block of I think 10 (or 20 - can't remember since we booked at a few hotels). This was great because we weren't under pressure to fill every single room. I love ES because of privacy traveling with wife and son, as well as complimentary breakfast and evening reception. Check in was at 4 but it was 4:15 pm when we arrived. This is a pet friendly hotel. I was first assigned 2 rooms on the 11th floor. After inquiring I was told that is a pet floor. I asked for another room assignment. The lady insist that she didn't have two rooms available on the same floor. After I told he... Read more

Room was large and clean. No complaints about staff or service. Fitness room is large, clean and has plenty of equipment. I would definitely recommend for others looking to stay near Baltimore's inner harbor.

Great location...parking is expensive and difficult to find in the area. Valet parking is available but again expensive. Staff very courteous and friendly. Good but not great value for money. Rooms can use a tea kettle. Very close to all amenities.

Went with my wife on a business trip. Room was dirty, cobwebs in corners, bed sloped to both sides, and not what it should be for the money. Thankfully by wife's work paid. But I would not recommend it to anyone.

While a family member is undergoing surgery or other medical procedure requiring an overnight stay at Mercy Hospital, out-of-town family has a nearby oasis to relax after a long day. Checking in the night before for a next day early AM operation avoids the mad dash early morning traffic.Great breakfast and evening free Happy Hour. This property is a make over of an older hotel. Reasonably priced. Consider parking at the hospital - much cheaper if you purchase discount ticket book in Hospital Lo... Read more

A very convenient location for individuals attending events at The Grand or wanting to stay in downtown Baltimore. Somewhat drab, though, and the amenities could have been nicer. Safe was broken and kitchenette lacked basics I would have expected.

I stayed at the Embassy suites for 4 days in October. Here is my overall view Valet: the valet attendees are friendly and fast. I called down for my car and it was usually there by the time I came downstairs a few minutes later. They were always pleasant and willing to help. Hotel design: The lobby is pretty small but that is due to the design of the hotel. There was 30 something floors I believe but only a handful of rooms per floor. The lobby is adjacent to a Starbucks. The elevator was sl... Read more

My company uses this space regularly for professional meetings. It's a little dark and eerie in the building, but the rooms are spacious. The customer service is excellent, but the food is less than average.

This is kind of a funny story... Friends and I were headed to Baltimore for a Jays game. My friend played Russian roulette with the hotel and booked a "mystery hotel" through one of the booking sites. It allows you to choose the star rating and the area, but nothing else. You don't find out what the hotel is until you book it, which is non-refundable. Luckily, it was a Hilton! We checked into the room, the front desk staff was great. Very informative and friendly. When we got up to the room, w... Read more

I first got there got in my room, I realized I was in a Queen, I call the front desk and wow I was in a King as requested in 10 minutes, OK I was there to chaperon a teen sleepover. Taylor at the desk told me about the free happening on of the hotel and I enjoyed them, I have stayed a lot of nice places, I don't remember having a free Happy Hour and a free breakfast customer fit to your choice of eating, this is no regular free breakfast, this is were I met Angela, I love a person that gives tru... The suite had very good space, the breakfast was good with made to order omelets, very nice evening reception at no charge. Also, great workout/fitness center. However, the 11th floor had a bad smell - like sewage all 4 days of stay and the water was yellow on 1 day in the bathroom. Needs some updates and renovations for the price

The staff offers fine, classic service. They were well-dressed and polite! What a location overlooking the harbor from the upper floors! What a conference center. You'll never find a better place than the marble halls and giant columns of the former masonic temple! What grandeur!

Wife was having surgery across the street at Mercy Medical. Booked a room here due to its proximity to the hospital. It was perfect, logistically speaking, i.e., just a short walk across the street, which was my main purpose for staying there. That said, suffice it to say that I was totally taken aback by the beautiful room (609), the "free" vittles and libations at happy hour every night, the "free" breakfasts and most importantly, the staff, headed-up by Mr. Jay Stany. Kudos to him and them. A... Read more
