Beds are tortuous, pillows are beyond worn out. Staff is friendly except for the Nazi pool lifeguard who monitored the pool with an iron clad fist. Ridiculous. Two boys who were just playing in water, no rough housing or doing anything out of ordinary and she was on them constantly. I was so tired of her caustic attitude wanted to check out. We have unusually polite grandsons who we monitor. The buffet breakfast is typical of hotels. On plus side. It's a very convenient location to Annapolis hi... Read more

Overall, the hotel was decent. All of the staff were great, except for the lady who serves breakfast. I stayed at the hotel for a month, and she was very MEAN/borderline sadistic. If I came 4 minutes early to breakfast, she would make me stand there and stare at the breakfast, even though it was 100% ready. She would just stand there and watch the clock until the the second hand ticked to exactly 6:00 AM. Mind you, the clock she was looking at was 5 minutes off. The real time was 1 minute after ... I was more than pleasantly surprised by this hotel. I expected a hotel without personality but it was the opposite. From the front view with the rocking chairs in the balcony to every single detail in the lobby made one feel at home. The room was perfect and I slept better than in any other hotel, no noise and good bed and pillows, perfect air conditioning system. The breakfast complete and not merely a continental one. Only complaint: I asked for a wake-up call and they forgot so that I almo... Read more

The décor and feel of the main lobby was very nice. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The pool, hot tub and hot breakfast were my reasons for choosing this hotel. The beds were a little squeaky and the rooms were slightly warm but all in all, it was a great stay.

This is a great stay for the Annapolis area. We had a dog and they were very accomodating and the breakfast was great. The rooms are spacious and we loved the suite with the sitting area. But be aware that if you are looking for a hotel for the USNA Graduation weekend, you have to pay up front and rent it for more than 2 days. Would recommend early reservations and call it in instead of doing a trip website.

We stayed at the Country Inns and Suites on a reservation made through Hotel Tonight when we decided not to make the hour and a half drive home after an evening sail in Annapolis. We selected Country Inn and Suites from the list because we realized that we had stayed there before and had had a good experience. Our recent stay was fine. Our room was on the ground floor and seemed a bit darker and less inviting that the upper floor room we had stayed in previously. On that occasion we had sele... Read more

Stayed for a week while I was having some work done to my house. The room was clean and comfortable and the pet fee was reasonable. The breakfast was hot and had a lot of choices including waffles. The indoor pool area was clean and comfortable and had lifts available to help guests with mobility issues enter and exit the pool and hot tub.

Our family stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while visiting the Annapolis area. The location was extremely convenient to all parts of the Annapolis area as well as easy access to Washington DC. The rooms were comfortable, and the separate bedroom was a nice feature, providing privacy both for my wife and I as well as for our teenage daughter sleeping out on the sleeper sofa. The complimentary breakfast was extremely convenient and provided a significant value to our stay. The cookies available a... Read more

I will not be staying at this hotel again. The wifi (absolutely essential for me) was down 2/3 of my stay. After technicians came out the second morning and replaced all of the network hardware, the wifi was still down. The third night, the wifi was finally back up, but I was never notified, and so I continued to use tethering at great personal expense to use a service that was to be provided free from the hotel.

(A rating of 3.5 is not possible. But it does't deserve a I'm rating a 4.) We visited Annapolis for a house-hunting trip to locate a place for our daughter (currently out of country) to live when she starts her new job. We booked several nights at the Country Inn. The hotel was centrally located for our purposes. It doesn't have the box-y look of most places. It is surrounded by lovely shade-providing trees. We were very pleased with our stay at the Country Inn and Suites. The reception was great - we arrived hours before the official check in time and despite the hotel being sold-out the night before, they arranged for us to get into the room very shortly after we arrived. A big plus was the unexpected full breakfast included in the price. The only small negative is that the air conditioner was noisy inside the room when the fan went on.

The folks at Country Inn are courteous. They go the extra mile to make sure your experience is over the top. Nice breakfast food variety, cookies, coffee and refreshing ice water pitcher was available at the front desk throughout our stay. The accommodations are clean and well kept. We have stayed here for 13 years to run a small conference. That in itself should say how pleased we are with the Country Inn and Suites!

We stayed here for one night for the Renaissance festival. It was convenient to this plus lots of shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious, a real 2 room suite with king bed and sofabed. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was average size, only 4 feet deep, dark lighting, and the door was propped to the outside, letting mosquitoes inside. It is pet friendly, but it's $75 extra, so I wouldn't bring a pet here. Other than that, everything was great, free breakfast, and free c... Read more

Our first visit as a family to Annapolis and first at this chain. A pleasant surprise. Equally so was the free evening shuttle service into Annapolis (a 15 minute drive), Tip your driver; he's a gem. It's a great idea on a weekend night when parking gets tough and expensive. The usual hotel breakfast, but well supplied and very clean. Room was very comfortable. I will stay again given the combination of comfort and value.

The staff was friendly and the location was fine (right near a mall, a grocery store, and a short drive from Annapolis). But otherwise I wasn't impressed. The room smelled musty and wasn't very clean-I found several long, dark hairs around the room (I'm blonde so they weren't mine). One of the pillowcases was stained. Also it's not a true suite--yes there are separate rooms but there's no sink aside from the one in the bathroom and there's just a minifridge, not a full size one. Also no eating a... Read more

We came to Annapolis for a weekend getaway and came to the Country Inn primarily because the pet-friendly hotels in town were all booked. It was also a little less expensive and the pet fee was more moderate, plus they didn't mind big dogs (2 labs). It‚??s about 5 miles outside of town, which really was preferable with the dogs‚?¶they have plenty of walking area. The hotel has an early 1980‚??s look with almost a B&B feel when you walk in.
