This is my first time here and colored by Preakness madness, graduation and weddings. The check in desk was lovely and helpful. Rooms are fine. No shower caps in bathroom. Saturday morning pieces of pepperoni in one of the elevators. Valet service overwhelmed.

We were looking for somewhere to have Sunday brunch and went to the Marriot at 1 p.m. But no brunch available - just lunch. Our waiter was rude and didn't say much to us. We ordered bloody Mary's and it took us like 20 minutes to get them. We also ordered the express lunch and it took another 20-30 minutes to get a salad, quiche and soup. The place wasn't that busy either. The crab chowder was the best I've ever had and very filling. Just wish the service was better.

This was the place for a Preakness weekend. Location great. Lots going on in hotel. A wedding party and prom in addition to horse people. The staff handled it well...even serving sparkling wine in the check in line. Rooms a little outdated for the very expensive price. Bar staff nice.

The people at this hotel know how to do events well -- proms, weddings, bar mitzvahs, and conferences. I attended a conference last week of about 500 people, which is a perfect size crowd for this size of hotel -- it's not like a Caesars Palace in Vegas, built for thousands. Everything went off smoothly, any problem that came up was handled immediately and the vibe was really friendly.

Enjoyed a one night stay at the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront. Upgraded to a suite which had a fantastic harbor view. Furnishings are typical Marriott. My only gripe is that the gym is small for a hotel this size and the locker rooms were difficult to find and not all that luxurious (no steam/sauna for example). Room service menu was limited with few healthy options but there is a good selection of restaurants nearby. Friendly service. Overall a nice stay and would visit again.

Great views from the 27th floor of this hotel. Bellhop lent us umbrellas in the rain and valet were helpful, despite deciding to self park. Rooms are spacious and room service extremely prompt and polite. Lifeguard was the only let down, they need to sit near the pool not behind a desk.

This hotel is a wonderful mix of old and new. Some items (the front desk, light fixtures in the ballrooms, numbers by each room's door, the headboards) are older and have of character. The bar, which is a wonderful gathering place, has a comfortable but modern feel. This hotel is right on the water with many dining and activity options close by. I'd definitely stay here again.

I really like this hotel. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, and the harbor views are amazing. I've stayed here twice in the last two years for conferences and would certainly return. The food is very good. I have a gluten intolerance and don't have any trouble getting what I need. I would love for them to add some cheese or hard-boiled eggs to their continental breakfast option (conferences love that cheaper option). Gluten-free doesn't mean protein-free! Also would love for them to offer... Read more

We stayed in one of the exclusive harbor view rooms while in town attending a concert at Pier Six. Our room was a corner room with expansive views of the inner harbor. The only problem we noted with the room is that the chair at the desk was stained and dirty. Other than that, we loved everything about this hotel.

The hotel is located in the inner harbor area and is close to shopping and really great restaurants. The staff at the hotel is wonderful - very accommodating, super friendly and quick! The beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The only drawback for me was the tv selection - most of the channels were ESPN. That may not be an issue for anyone else, it's just my personal preference. I have never been a fan of the Marriott chain - I find their hotel rooms are awkward and not set up for the business traveller. This one is an exception. My room was well laid out with a decent desk and desktop power outlets, outlets on the bedside lamp for my phone (which doubles as an alarm clock) and a sensible amount of room for suitcases and briefcases. The bathroom was a bit on the small side but serviceable. The executive lounge was also set up nicely with hightop long table with outl... Read more

This Marriott is located on the water in the inner harbor within walking distance to many restaurants and venues. The hotel staff are friendly and responsive. The rooms are well appointed and more than comfortable. There is a fitness center and pool and great views overlooking the water. A water Taxi stand is outside the building to take you across th water and to places such as Fort McHenry. You couldn't ask or a better location to experience Baltimore and the Inner Harbor.

This hotel is in an excellent location in Harbor East. It is a large full service hotel with a bar/restaurant, room service, etc. If you are lucky enough to get a view of the Inner Harbor you will be very happy. Valet parking is available but a parking garage across the street allows self-parking.

The workshop rooms were well set-up, but an unexpected number of women attended the each workshop and we overflow the rooms (not a problem of the hotel). My husband and I go to Baltimore Inner Harbor a few times a year, and we've stayed at several hotels. However, this is our absolute favorite!! The harbor views are just spectacular. The Baltimore Marriott Waterfront is in a fantastic location on the harbor offering great views and close access to lots of restaurants, Little Italy, National Aquarium, Camden Yards. BUT there are some issues they need to work out for the prices they charge. First, the rooms décor are dated and need updating, everything just looked old and tired. The room we had on the 28th floor had a desk that had a leg that was separating and about to fall off. There was considerable noise from neighboring... Read more

This was a very nice hotel with a great location. It is modern, clean, comfortable, stylish- everything one would come to expect from a Marriott. The room's view of the harbor is hard to beat. The bar is fun and friendly with lot's to choose from. You won't be disappointed with your stay here. That said, I also stayed at another hotel down the street that was equally clean, comfortable, and stylish but came with more. There was a free breakfast at the other location (albeit mild in comparison to... Read more

This hotel far exceeded my expectations. From check in to check out I enjoyed my stay. The location is great and close to many nice restaurants and stores. The rooms were very nice and the view was excellent. The staff is amazing and very accommodating. This hotel is awesome and I highly recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel prior to an early morning Miami flight to celebrate my daughters 21st birthday. The Marriott did not disappoint. First of all the service here was tremendous even though it was pretty crowded for some sort of convention. The hotel and bar area were so nice that we decided to have dinner there and drinks at the bar as opposed to going out. We were not disappointed. The bartender, Aleycia (spelling??) was great she was attentive and explained the drinks as she made them. We ha... Read more

I don't know what it is with Marriott lately, but the entire cleaning thing has been fail after fail. There is a note in your room that the hotel is "Green" and if you don't allow the housekeepers in to clean your room you will get 500 reward points. I understand the towels not being washed everyday is an effort to conserve water and resources, but not letting in housekeeping is a "green" effort? Oh come on, that's ridiculous! We did not want to be green and wanted our room cleaned. After... Read more

I stayed on this property when I went to Baltimore for a friends wedding. The location was beyond my expectations. If your in town visiting there's no need for a car everything in walking distance. Plus the parking is expensive. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking views from the 32nd floor over looking harbor east.

I stayed here for a conference at the end of July. The hotel was clean and the location was great. However, after I checked out and on the way to the airport, I realized my expensive headphones were not in my computer bag. When I got to the airport, I checked all my luggage and found nothing. I called the hotel and the lady who answered put me on hold while she checked. She said that nothing was found in my room and referred me to HR. No one answered so I left a message. Later that day, I call... Read more

I recently stayed at this Marriott property for a work conference. I enjoyed a room on one of the higher floors that had a beautiful view of the harbor. I found the location to be very convenient, allowing you to walk to several nearby bars and restaurants. I flew into BWI and the cab ride is roughly 20-30 minutes, obviously that's traffic dependent as well. Like most Marriott's, the onsite coffee shop was appreciated. Would stay again without hesitation.

Having a view of the harbor is priceless, especially on a clear night. Unfortunately, our air conditioning was not working properly and it was hot in our room for much of the time. They did try to resolve the issue, and were very pleasant to deal with. I would likely stay here again in non-summer months. Also, it wasn't quite as clean and well-kept as my stay four years ago. All in all, not bad.

At a recent week long GFWC convention we stayed at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront. From check in, to registration, to getting our room "key" we were pleased to say our arrival and check in went smoothly. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Marriott properties are exceptional in their attention to detail with room cleaning staff. Our banquet meals were delicious and artfully displayed. I had the opportunity to work directly with banquet set up staff and they couldn't have b... Read more

We stay in a lot of Marriott properties and this location in Baltimore was really nice. Not sure if all the rooms were like ours but in our room, everything was newly remodeled with a very modern feel. Bathroom had really cool fixtures and rain shower was wonderful. Great view overlooking the harbor even made our stay better. Centrally located around great restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We really enjoyed this Marriott.

This is a great hotel where you have the river and the town right there with you. There is a Flemings next door and plenty of shops to keep you busy. The aquarium is about 5 blocks from the hotel as well.

This is the second best hotel in Baltimore, first being the Four Seasons nearby. I stayed at this property when I was visiting my alma mater in Homewood. Location is great but the rooms need some remodeling as they feel a little outdated. However, it is a competent, full service Marriott - a reasonably priced one too.

We recently stayed there for one night. We went to Camden Yards for a game. We walk everywhere we go and the hotel was about a mile from the train station/Camden Yards. We arrived very early in Baltimore...around 830am. We were just going to ask if the hotel could hold our bags, until we could check in, but our room was ready that early and they allowed us to check in right away. That was fantastic. Our view was of the Inner Harbor. It was a super clean hotel and the staff was very friendly a... Read more

I have not stayed in a Marriott on business in a while so I am apparently the last to hear about the elimination of room service and replacement with so-called "Fresh Bites": microwaved TV dinners dropped off in a paper bag to avoid the "fuss" of the room service cart (the pamphlet actually says that). I was hungry and tired and bitterly disappointed that the quality of food I have come to expect from Marriott in room dining no longer exists. I ordered some sad attempt at roasted chicken (no sid... We drove by this place when we were in Baltimore last year. We like the area because it's kind of secluded but being secluded it's far from the activities. When we called to book a hotel this year, we were told that there is a bridge that connects to the harbor where all the restaurants and the activities are so we chose this hotel. At check in we were upgraded and our room was on the 29th floor facing the harbor. The view was awesome. The bed was really comfortable and we had a lot of pillows t... Read more

I was here for a 3 day conference. Great location, and could walk anywhere. The bar was very expensive, but could walk around the corner for cheaper options. Check in & out was normal for most hotels, and $200 for big city room which was not bad. Great views from all sides, and Rewards bar on the 31st floor was impressive.

Not to be confused with the Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton this is a very nice, super clean business meeting hotel. The surrounding area is fantastic and a quick and safe walk to enjoy it all. The staff was super upbeat and helpful. Negatives include a very minimal fitness center and pool, super expensive PPV movies ( $17 per movie ) and parking at $26.00 bucks a day. Other than that, you should be very content. I have no idea what the cost was as my room was paid for. Wi-Fi is free in th... Read more

We arrived at this hotel on Friday evening after driving from Columbia university in NYC. The valet service was easy, the welcome drink was very welcome and the check in was quick, friendly and efficient. We had two rooms on the concierge floor with a harbor view, and were given breakfast vouchers as the concierge lounge closed over the weekend. My only negative is that we had to pay to have the buffet, which was almost exactly the same as the options usually given in the concierge lounge! But o... Read more

Conference rooms were nice, A/V was good. Temperature was great. Ammenities were nice. Parking non-valet was $26/day and the deck was conveniently located adjacent with a 2nd floor connector under cover. Parking spots are tight and the entrance and exit required good driving skills and concentrations so as not to hit the side walls or curbs. The kitchen served our 350 at the conference very well with a very health spread of food (gluten free) fresh and health fair. I did not stay in the ro... Read more
