I would return to this Doubletree because of David at the front desk. I was there for a week and David acted as a concierge. He clearly loves his job and his guests. Restaurant staff is nice but David could teach them all how to give 5 star service. Very convenient location with restaurants walkable distance.

Stayed one night for business and found an average room and breakfast at an expensive rate. Our room was on the first floor of the tower (1 level below the lobby) located right next to the highway and we were exposed to loud traffic noise all night. As a Gold Hilton Honors member I was miffed when I got on the elevator the next morning and saw that there were 2 Hilton Honors floors - but we were stuck in what felt like the basement. The room was indistinguishable from an older Hampton Inn. Brea... Read more

Over-all satisfied and as expected from Doubletree. Very nice to have complimentary shuttle service to Stadium for Annapolis Graduation/Commissioning ceremonies. Notable points for improvement: Intermittent bathroom light malfunction - unable to be fixed by hotel, better replenishment of soaps/shampoo, and coffee items.

We stayed here during the busiest week of the season and everyone was gracious, patient, and good humored. The shuttle service around town and to graduation was superb. Family in other hotels were jealous of our outstanding free shuttle while they took cabs and uber. The restaurant opened during odd hours to accommodate the strict schedule of commissioning ceremony. They even provided water and cookies at the shuttle stop after graduation when there was a long wait for a return shuttle. It'... Read more

My mother in law booked this hotel for us for a weekend wedding in Annapolis. The room & bathroom we all Very clean. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked great (it is right next to the highway-this may bother some people). There was a free shuttle that took us into downtown Annapolis (took only about 10minutes) & the driver was very friendly. The only thing that I can really complain about was the noise. We spent 2 nights here but had to leave early due to a bereavement. The staff were kind and considerate and no charge was made for the night we didn't stay. This is not a big hotel, just 2 floors. There is a restaurant but we had room service. The food was very good. A small shop sells soft drinks and snacks and there is a fridge and microwave in the room. All three rooms that were offered to us had mouldy walls, hidden behind the curtains at the window. It looks like this is a general issue in this hotel, since the corridors on the floors we looked at smelled mouldy as well. Since we are both allergic to mould, we asked to be booked into the Hilton Graden Inn down the road which the Concierge Sam (great guy !) did swiftly. Nice people - door lock was missing frame component - the lock was free floating in the jam. Every time someone went in their room the suction from the other door opening moved my door - felt like someone was trying to get in my room all night. Engineers for the hotel unrated the lock for all rooms and disregarded the fact part of the frame lock was missing . Towel rack fell while I was in the shower. Old bathroom.

First the positives: friendly staff, nice job of cleaning room & wonderful shuttle service to downtown Annapolis. Negatives:. Our room was supposed to be ready at 3:00, but it wasn't until after 4:00. The fan in the bathroom ceiling was hanging down. And finally, there are no hooks in the bathroom to hang wet towels. The choices are over the shower rod or the towel rack in the shower.

The good news is that it was clean and quiet, the front desk was nice, check-in/out easy and they gave out some great cookies as welcome gifts, room had free and serviceable wifi, and it was right off the freeway and close to things like Target and the Dollar Store, which came in handy. The complimentary shuttle is a great perk. The staff is very helpful and kind. Seems like none of the hotels around here use towel bars in the bathrooms anymore so no place to hang your towels. And all the AC/Heat units in all the hotels in town seem to be loud. So although these two things annoying it won't be any different anywhere else. Hotel is about 3miles from the old town and a simple drive. The new town and a large shopping area are near by a few minutes drive. Hotel has a outside pool close when we stayed a small gym which was ok. Breakfast was good a reasonable selection. The down side was the location it's next to a main road and you hear a lot of traffic all night. Also the room had a fridge which you could say was positive but every time it cut in during the night it woke me up
