The hotel is located in a beautiful scenery in the harbor. The Dock Bar and the restaurant have nice settings and great atmosphere. And that's it... The hotel service is terrible, the receptionists are very unfriendly and not helpful. I am a Marriott Platinum Elite member and I never came across such rude and unprofessional staff. They have found my reservation after a delay of 15 minutes, then they told me they don't have rooms I reserved, then finally they found one on the first floor in a cor... Read more

Annapolis waterfront hotel is the bEsT location Annapolis for a Hotel and I is a full service hotel. I call it a small hotel with a big heart. I haven't been to the Waterfront hotel in 15 years, The Billman recognized me the minute i walked in the door. While your there you will probably see Midshipmen walking about town, be sure to take 2 tours while your there. One, a private tour of the Naval Academy, the hotel can arrange it for you. And two take a tour of the town because it is steeped in U... Read more

Perfect location. Nice views overlooking the harbor. Nautical-themed rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. Friendly, attentive staff. Valet parking only which can be inconvenient but they keep the cars close in case you need access.

Great service. The balcony rooms have fantastic views of the harbor area. The other rooms are excellent. The balcony rooms are more expensive, but certainly worth the investment. The hotel is centrally located.

Attended a conference here for 3 days in may. The hotel was very comfy, clean, smart and had everything you could want. I had a twin room with two large beds and a fantastic tv. But the location is the reason why you have to visit this hotel. Located on the edge of the bay. Close to all amenities that Annapolis has to offer. Would love to stay here again. Great food in pussers next door too. Ideal for a drink and sit out and watch the yachts on "ego alley"

Had a quick overnight stay at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. I was on my way to Washington DC, and had stayed at a not so nice chain hotel the night before. When I arrived at this hotel, it was such as pleasant treat to make up for the other place. The lobby was very nice and the front desk staff had me checked in quickly even though there were a large number of people checking in. My room for the night was very clean and comfortable, with a nice view of the harbor. We had some drinks and appe... Read more

We stayed for a night and paid $450 ..for a double bed room on the first floor overlooking the water. The good: The room was great. The staff worked to ensure we got double beds, and the view was really fantastic. The staff was amazing. The valet staff was so helpful. The water taxis will drop you off at the hotel! The bad: The hotel had absolutely no pool. For a pretty expensive hotel ...it was a first. Took away from the luxury.

The hotel is in a perfect location, in the heart of Annapolis, across from the Naval Academy, and overlooking the water. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The staff during our stay were very warm, caring, and professional. Despite the hotel being at full capacity, the front desk staff, valet, and dining staff handled everything extremely well. Special kudos to Rachel at the front desk--while it was her first week at the hotel, she was personable and hospitable. The part we enjoyed most was... Read more

The waterfront location is the best thing about this hotel, although I found the staff to be friendly and helpful too. However, my room was quite ordinary, especially at the price, though it was clean and had a good number of outlets. The bar/restaurant in the hotel is good, but not great.

I was familiar with this location (best in Annapolis and waterfront), as well as many of the wonderful staff, from previous Annapolis visits-whether on business or social travel needs. I enjoyed catching up with what I consider "old friends"-----from the bright, professional and extremely helpful female receptionists, to the valets, on to an extremely nice, tall, strong looking (former athlete?) and helpful custodian in a blue shirt, who held the elevator door open for my lady friend and I to ... We just visited Annapolis for the first time and were so pleased we chose this beautiful hotel! We were drawn by the great waterfront location, walking distance to the city dock area, and the ability to bring our small dog along. The desk staff were wonderful from the start; so welcoming and anticipated all of our needs. Our room had a spacious balcony where we enjoyed the view of the harbor, daybreak with coffee each morning, and a cool evening breeze on a warm day. We were so charmed that we b... Read more

Visiting Annapolis this is a perfect location to stay. Right on the water close (5 min walk) to shopping area. From the moment we pulled up at valet parking, we were greeted in a cheerful manner. But it was the little things that the staff did that we noticed and appreciated. Asking when we checked out if we were still going to be in town and offering to put out luggage in our vehicle and keep in the parking lot until we were actually leaving later that night. Seeing we were off in the m... Read more

We had a very nice room with a handsome nautical décor. The king bed was very comfortable, the TV was large and enjoyable, the location was convenient to all the historic downtown shops and excitement. We only stayed one night, but because we were so close to downtown and the water taxi, we got to experience a lot in a short time. We parked our car ($25 parking fee) and did not use it until check out the next day. I would definitely stay here again.

We were lucky to book this hotel for graduation week at the Naval Academy. Great location on the water lends itself to the feel of the town, and it is easily walkable to most of the major sites. Unfortunately the restaurant staff was heavily pressed at peak times; I felt sorry for the young inexperienced and overwhelmed servers so more servers should have been added (for example, early morning of the graduation itself.) In other words they seemed underprepared for the deluge several times during... Read more

Not only is this hotel located in the very best spot in Annapolis for walking to virtually anything, it has impeccable staff waiting upon your arrival. I have stayed here multiple times is 2016 and every experience has been exceptional. I have never left a review for a hotel before my life. I felt it would be unfair not to leave one after how wonderful our visit was. My wife and I came two days early in order to pick up my son from the Naval Academy. We had never visited Annapolis before. We got there several hours before check-in, and they go out of their way to allow us to check into our room early. They also gave us a wonderful room, with a wonderful view. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Pusser's for lunch and some " pain killers" Great! but had to get back to that balcony!

I spent three nights at this hotel and absolutely loved it! The staff was awesome, my room was beautiful and the location was ideal! I left something in the room safe and panicked when I realized what I had done. I called the hotel and Mike, Housekeeping Manager, was extremely helpful. Christine in shipping was also a wonderful help. I will stay here every time I visit Annapolis!

My family hosted a ‚??Happy Hour‚?? on the second deck at the Annapolis Waterfront Hotel. The location and venue are exceptional. We were also delighted with the service. The Annapolis Waterfront, which used to be the Marriott, is center stage in Annapolis. The best place for lunch or cocktails on the deck, watching the people and the boats go by. A very pleasant way to spend some time and rest weary bones. Good crab dip.

This hotel is extremely comfortable. I have found that most hotels that are really nice like this one are not as comfortable. I felt right at home, the bed was comfortable. The room was gorgeous and has the best views of the river where you can watch boats come in and out to your hearts content. I have no complaints at all.

I was here for a girls' getaway, and I can't imagine having stayed anywhere else. We never needed the car. We walked to the State House, USNA, and Eastport, and of course, up and down the streets of downtown Annapolis. The hotel is ON the water. We splurged for the balcony room, and we were sooooo glad we did; the view was incredible, from the sunrise to the full moon over the harbor, it was magnificent. I was surprised that the hotel doesn't have a pool, hence the four stars.
