Needed a place to break up the travel to my daughters graduation last weekend. Located Hampton Inn using my HHonors app. Online reservations and E check in service was easy to use and saved time at arrival. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean and bed very comfortable. Highly recommend

The room was extremely clean, reasonably priced, check in and check out was quick and efficient, facilities appeared well taken care of and the breakfast was a delicious variety for a quick bite! Excellent experience overall.

We travel to Waterville several times a year to visit my son at college. The Hampton Inn is conveniently located, clean, the staff friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel caters to Colby parents. They even printed swag for us in the fall for Parents Weekend. The staff was helpful when I left some items in my room during a recent stay. I received them via UPS two days later. If you're going to Waterville, I would definitely stay here.

Friendly service staff. We stayed at this place several times during the past 3 years. It has been consistently a good hotel, however I our recent visit we noticed a declining attention to overall cleanliness.

My wife and I stayed for a single night at the Hampton Inn Waterville, ME, on our way to a meeting in Western Maine. The staff and service was excellent, and the room was clean and comfortable. If in the area again, we would definitely return for another stay.

Staying in the hotel was like sleeping in the library, super quiet. Though we arrived late, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great location near 95. If in the area, I would definitely stay there again.

Everything was good. We would have like a small fridge in the room. The check in staff and breakfast staff were very nice. Water in shower seemed to have two temps hot and cold with no way to adjust how hot or cold it was.

Hotel was convenient to campus and all reunion events. Staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. Room was clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast provide a good start to the day. We have stayed here before and would stay here again when we are in Waterville.

My actual stay at the Waterville Hampton was very good, but what really made my experience was the fact that everyone who worked there was willing to go above and beyond when i left my sweater there after my stay. It took two days of calling the hotel back and forth as well as UPS, and ultimately, the hotel just paid for my shipment for me through Fedex because UPS wasn't working for me.

Overnight business stay- hotel was everything I've come to expect from Hampton Inn. Room was in good shape, exercise room was enough to get a workout in, and breakfast was good. Power went out locally during my stay, and the staff handled the situation with calmness. They made everyone feel comfortable and made the most of a bad situation.

Ok - so this will be an odd review. I travel a great deal for work and one of my projects has me in Waterville Maine - likely for 2-3 visits of 1-2 days each. For my first visit, I explored local hotels online and found the Hampton Inn. Unfortunately, when I booked online I inadvertently booked through ReservationDesk.com. On the day I was to arrive in Maine, weather issues caused my flight to be cancelled - and, of course, ReservationDesk.com does not offer refunds. I was able, though, to reach... Read more

Right off of 95 in Waterville. Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Easy check in. Clean, quiet rooms. Didn't use fitness center this time. Parking available. For a chain motel it is pretty nice. Very close to Colby campus.

Our group has nothing but praise for the Hampton Inn, they could not have been more helpful. Manager Tiffany did everything from the front desk to photocopying to taking pictures of our group with multiple camera's. The rooms are spacious and clean, staff friendly and lots of parking. Little touches include a "to go" bag in the morning with snacks, coffee and cookies in the lobby and a great breakfast. If I could give it more then a five point rating I would!

The hotel met my needs as a business traveler. The only two suggestions I would offer would be to ask the front desk if the room you are in has cell phone reception. I was in the back of the building and had NO reception. Breakfast was "okay" I was there for 3 days - most of the time the hot options were luke warm -

This is an excellent hotel, and in an easy off and on the highway location. Comfortable and clean with a great breakfast. What more could one want on their way to the North Woods. Plenty of places to eat nearby, as well as gas stations to refuel.

Having stayed at this Hampton Inn annually for 4 years (to attend a course at nearby Colby College), I have been very frustrated that ATT phone do not work in the building. If you are lucky and walk around outside you may get a weak signal. I wonder if this could be improved. Otherwise it is a standard Hampton Inn.

We have used this hotel every year for the past three years. To drop off and then pick up our son at/from the New England Music Camp in Sidney, ME. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is usual standard fair. Price varies according to supply and demand. Easy to book and check in and pick room with Hilton app. Parking a little tight when hotel full. Wi-Fi is slow. And AT&T is nearly non-existent inside hotel; Verizon not much better.

I have stayed here many time. Good, comfortable, and clean. Walls are not good for noise reduction though. You can hear pretty much everything from the rooms next door and the hall ways. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are well maintained it seems.

I like Hampton Inns. This Hampton Inn was very clean and comfortable. What made this Hampton Inn special for me was the friendly, helpful and hard working staff. I would like to thank Ann, Colin and Janell. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate are available all day.

A good, basic experience in central Maine. Better than most others, but a middle of the road Hampton experience. Recommended for clean, well appointed rooms. Up to par for the Hampton. Breakfast available and adequate. A comfortable room with nice space.

For 250 a night for visitor weekend, you don't get what you pay for. First time at any hotel or motel I had to put clean towels all over floor to walk on it. Carpet was sticky and filthy. Will look for a newer cleaner hotel next time. Even if I need to drive further.

I am fan of Hampton Inns, especially in small towns, as they usually provide a consistent well-managed product that is better than their competitors. The Hampton Inn in Waterville meets all of the criteria that I expect in a Hampton. Moreover, it is exceedingly well located for camp visits (the purpose of our recent trip) and to Colby College. The staff are very pleasant and made check in very easy. I am looking forward to my next stay (camp pickup in a few weeks) and to more years of visiti... Read more

Very satisfied with recent stay. Especially pleased with customer service. I requested a room change and was happily accommodated. Very friendly, welcoming staff and thoughtful room service. Nice to have breakfast in the morning. In my opinion, the rooms at the front of the hotel are the nicest (although they are all nice). A few suggestions for the management: 1) I had a long stay and needed the laundry room. It would be nice to have more than one washer and dryer. Also, the gentleman at... Read more

My son and I stayed the night this week as we were visiting colleges in the area. Directly off 95 where there are also fast food restaurants and a Dunkin Donuts conveniently in the same parking lot. I had downloaded the Hilton Honors app and did a "pre-checkin" so I barely had to pause at the front desk, as agent just had to hand me me the door key, which was nice. My son appreciated the free chocolate chip cookies in the lobby! The room was very clean and neat. Both our beds were oddly springy/... Read more

The service at this hotel is very good, we were helped with any issues right away. However, the quality of the beds and the noise level next to the exit door of the staircase has not been a very good experience during our recent stay, but we did not report as it was during the night when we experienced the problems.

We came to visit Colby College with our son. The hotel is nearest the College and is easy to reach from Route 95 (a few hundred yards to the on ramp). Based on an informal survey of other hotel/inn alternatives in Waterville, the Hampton Inn appears to have been the best appointed hospitality option in the immediate area. We have stayed at other Hampton Inn properties and, based on the quality of the offerings and the good condition of the premises, this one filled our expectations.
