We were there last week and stopped during our night stop over. But very disappointed as this rooms were quite dirty. Shower tub was choking. The ceiling was almost falling down of our room. But as far as the manager was concern she was nice person and attended to our call effectively. This place needs a great improvement or my be rebuilding Overall would not recommend.

My wife & I were late in booking for Parents' Weekend at Colby College. The only nearby place to stay was Econolodge (Waterville seems to have 5 motels). On the plus side, the motel is only a mile to Colby, so the location is ideal. But this motel is in deplorable condition . . . beat-up outer door frame made security a concern. Window curtain kept falling down. Smoke detector hanging loosely from ceiling. Shower railing bracket broken. Mattress lumpy and very uncomfortable. Hotel's photos do no... Read more

The roads were icy and I didn't dare drive home after seeing 3 accidents between Augusta and Waterville. At check-in, I was just happy to get out of the car, and soon into some place to relax. The lobby was very old and unimpressive and the guy was talking about drunks coming in, which made me think...oh great...hey, it's a place to stay and safer than risking getting into an accident on the way home, so be grateful for that. He did give me a discount tho so I was grateful for that. I got in the... Read more

Yes I had my son stay there and as this was at the end of June after his stay there I paid for it by credit card then about a few days later he needed a couple more days to stay there so we did the same thing and charge my card and I thought everything was done then I realize that my account was empty in the middle of August found out Econo Lodge took out $409 and then also put a hold on $280 call them to find out what was going on found out they had poor desk attendance and my card wasn't charg... Although the hotel manager, Beena, received true medical certification for my service animals, she EXPRESSLY DEMANDED that my 2 service animals (cats) STAY BEHIND CLOSED DOORS AT ALL TIMES because Beena is TERRIFIED OF ALL ANIMALS. Beena expressly told me that my service animals are PROHIBITED FROM LEAVING MY HOTEL ROOM AT ANY TIME because of Beena's irrational personal fear of all animals. Beena and the housekeepers leave "staff only" doors to laundry rooms wide open all day (and all night) wh... Read more

NO iron & ironing board, broken curtains, NO cable TV. All this place had was WiFi, a coffee pot and a fridge. Very old. Slight odor. Turned the air conditioner on and filter pieces were blowing out onto the bathroom sink and counter area. The hot water fixture in the shower was stripped (broken), so the front desk opened the adjoining room door so we could shower in the other room's bathroom. Would not recommend this motel.

The place looks like a standard old crappy motel, so I didn't expect much, just to have a comfortable place to rest my head. But it was gross. The carpets were sticky, so walking bare foot is a no no. The white blanket on the bed has a giant pee stain. The two pillows had blood stains all over them that were hidden by pillow cases. One of the pillows was so old and lumpy it didn't even qualify as a pillow anymore, and that was the one most heavily blood stained. The bathroom had the wrong ceilin... Read more

3 adults in a sizable room with 2 double beds for $85 best price encountered from bangor to portland. no noise, no smells, just a basic room with cable, wifi. also stayed at vacationland inn bar harbor, howard johnson waterville. inn at waterville rates slightly better than the other two despite no flat screen tv. room had better air circulation.
