We took advantage of a last minute get-away weekend here and really enjoyed it ! Our 2nd floor corner suite was immaculate, the bed was one of the best I have slept in. We walked all over town, the marginal way. the beach, the cove ! We will be back. Staff were friendly, the pool and hot tub enjoyable after long walks and we enjoyed our coffee from the lobby on our private balcony each morning !

Loved this hotel. It's not for everyone there is no room service but our room had a microwave and fridge with sink. Continental breakfast every morning with a good selection of the breakfast regulars. There's a heated indoor pool that closes at 9pm but it's good for some short laps. Also there is a hot tub out on the deck with an average view. There are free DVD you can get as well as snacks that are for sale. The rooms are great for watching TV or drinking wine since there are wine glasses th... Read more

We had to reschedule quite a few times due to life's events, but the hotel was very accepting of our dilemma and finally we made it to the hotel in early May. The weather was not so cooperative but the hotel was great -

We just returned from a 2 night stay on the Spring package. This included 2 nights in a penthouse suite, dinner for 2 at Clay HIll Farm and wine, cheese ,crackers and pepperoni. We were very happy with our suite. We had plenty of room and the extra large deck was great to eat our included breakfast on. Our dinner at Clay Hill Farm was exceptional. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. We will definately return to the Grand Hotel in the future.

The hotel was a good location, nestled in between Ogunquit beach and Perkins Cove (it's about a 15 minute walk to the beach, about 5 minutes to Perkins Cove). The hotel was clean, and the room was spacious. The parking was included, which in this area is a huge bonus. But the woman who seemed to be managing the hotel was not too engaging, nor friendly. And the place is definitely outdated. The "continental breakfast" was pretty mundane...fruit that looked like it had been sitting there for ... Read more

My wife and I have returned here multiple times. We've loved this area of Maine for many, many years. Within 15 minutes walk is the Ogunquit Playhouse, Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, and shops/restaurants in the town center. This past June we spent our 38th wedding anniversary here, enjoying a show at the Playhouse, late evening wine cheese and crackers on the 2nd floor deck and sunrise (YES @5:01am) on the marginal way. We like the Grand Hotel because of it's large rooms, private decks and its q... Read more

This hotel is on Shore Drive, the main street, just 1-2 blocks from Perkin's Cove and the Marginal Way. Quiet, nice, modern rooms with nice balconies, typical breakfast. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Short walk to the shore. Would go there again if visiting Ogunquit, ME.

I have enjoyed staying at this hotel twice now, clean large rooms, nice small indoor pool, covered parking, very intimate and a fresh breakfast each morning. Not modern style furniture but still comfy and gets the job done right

As a frequent traveler to Ogunquit this hotel is in a perfect location as it is walking distance shops and restaurants, Marginal Way, the beach, and so on. Trolley stop is right outside. Our room had a small deck however we preferred to use the lager deck that all customers have access to. A basic breakfast is free in the AM, nothing fancy but nice to be able to get coffee. Our room was spacious, although furnishings were a bit tired. Walls are terribly thin as we had Harry Met Sally next do... Read more

After 4 hours of checking in After a perfect Lobster Dinner At Perkins Cove , my wife fell and badly sprained her ankle and was told to stay off it for 48 hours ! We had prepaid our 3 night stay and after explaining what happened to the hotel they gave us a voucher for the remaining 2 nights good into 2017 . They were so understanding and concerned . We will return, its such a beautiful area , the hotel is conveniently located Cannot Thank the hotel and staff enough for their understanding an... Read more

We were only in town less than 24 hrs but boy did we have a good time! Rooms are big and clean. Loved our sun deck. Had a glass of wine out there before walking to dinner. The hotel is very conveniently located 5 min to Perkins Cove. 5 min to more shops and restaurants. Breakfast was plenty. Staff were very helpful. Can't wait to return.

We stayed at The Grand Hotel for one night during a quick day trip to Ogunquit and had a wonderful stay! Our room was spacious and clean, and we were impressed with the decor and amenities. It is conveniently located between Perkins Cove and numerous other restaurants and we were able to walk to dinner at The Front Porch Restaurant. We will be back!

We stayed here once again to attend a local concert in Ogunquit. Initially, we were planning to stay just Thursday and Friday nights, but after just a few hours, extended our stay for one more night. The Grand Hotel was just perfect for us. There are wonderfully clean rooms, underground parking with rolling luggage carriers, and the most friendly and cordial staff always willing to assist. The lady overseeing the breakfast area was cheerful and happy, as was every other hotel assistant. Our chec... Read more

Our suite was very clean, neat, and comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting on the outdoor deck overlooking the passerby. It is extremely convenient to all the restaurants and shops, and a short distance to a beautiful beach. We'll be back!

Our family of 5 stayed for 3 nights. It is a perfect location walking distance between downtown and Perkins Cove. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast could use a few more options and the coffee wasn't great but it was free. They allow you to use the facilities at their 2 other hitels on the same street. The pools were nice!

My husband and I travel every summer to Ogunquit on our way back from a fishing trip. Decided to stay at new place. Grand hotel was perfect. Very clean and comfortable Great location for all the walking we do. Heidi, front desk manager, was great. So kind and pleasant and most helpful for dining suggestions. 4 out of 4 were excellent choices! Thank you. We will return!

We stayed here for three nights in a suite on the third floor. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was good- short walk to Perkins Cove, Marginal Way, beach, and lots of restaurants. Receptionist was friendly. However, for the steep price, the Grand Hotel was lacking. The bathroom was clean but small and not updated- the shower head was cheap and the water pressure weak. Towels were thin and tiny. There were no water bottles in the room, no coffee make... Read more

We had a rough trip in from Ohio. Didn't get there until late (and actually one day late as well). Heidi greeted us when we got there. She was TERRIFIC. They had a Handicapped spot in the garage below the Hotel reserved for us. Right by the elevator. We got to the lobby and as I said, Heidi couldn't do enough for us. The room was perfect, in the front with a separate living area and the bedroom with a king size bed. the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in in a long time. We had ass... Read more

We booked this after reading good review online. The front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, then a refreshing dip in the pool. It was a nice walk to the beach and the Marginal Way, and in a nice section of town. An added perk was being allowed to leave our car in the underground garage so we could go to the beach after we checked out.

The rooms are very big, clean, and the beds are comfy! Staff is very friendly, especially Heidi. The continental breakfast is nice, but could use an update and a new kind of coffee. Quiet area and very close to the beautiful perkins cove.

We stayed in one of the front suites with a private deck. The hotel and room were immaculate. It was located right in the center of town which we loved. Close to all the shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend staying here.
