Great hotel, great location surrounded by tons of activities and restaurants. Enjoyed the area and good food. Shopping was fun and we were able to pick up gifts for family and friends as well as a few for ourselves. Wonder area to visit. We didn't have any agenda, just took back roads all over maine, Vermont, new Hampshire and new York. Hightly recommend it.

We stayed in the Hampton Inn Bath hotel for 2 nights in April 2016. The place appears to be quite new, and we found everything (and everyone) to be very pleasant, clean, and quiet. Our room overlooked the Kennebec River and except for the coincidental construction going on across the road next to the river, the view was excellent. The hotel has ample parking, is easily accessible from Highway 1, which is only about 3 blocks away. Also, a very nice shopping and dining area is only a block awa... Read more

First, let me say that this property was clean, my bed was most comfortable, and the desk staff were pleasant. My chief complaint is that the room was not very cheery (very dark rugs and upholstery) and the desk chair was cloth rather than a proper office desk chair (leather, vinyl or metal mesh, which can be wiped and cleaned). Most Hampton Inns do have good desk chairs. Any person who needs to use a computer and sit for long periods at a desk, does not welcome a cloth chair. And when I pa... Read more

Clean, efficient, comfy hotel near downtown Bath, and conveniently located. The complimentary breakfast is about average for a cafeteria style type setup. The rooms are very nice but a little short on drawer space if you have more than one person in the king bed room I stayed in. But overall a good choice. Book early sometimes the rates fluctuate depending on what's going on in town.

One of the nicest hotel stays I have had in years. The staff (especially Mike, Tyler, and Kai) were very friendly and helpful. My luggage arrived 24 hours after I arrived, and the staff was genuinely concerned with my comfort, and found me the second my bag arrived to let me know. They were welcoming and accomadating. Last Sunday I had to travel with my mother to see her sister that was very poorly .. We arrived in Portland and went straight to see my aunt. We checked in at the Hampton inn around 11pm. Lovley welcome. We suddenly had to shoot back to the nursing home where at 1.30 am my aunt passed away .. On return to the hotel the receptionist Joanna was there . She was very caring towards my mother and brought tea tissues and chatted to her while I was outside talking to my cousin. So a massive thank you J... Read more

Good location, both downtown & on the water - for now. Condos being built that will block the water view. How do I know this? Construction noise woke us at 0700. On check in "Hattie" was very accommodating, professional, and personable.

The staff was professional and hospitable. The hotel was clean and up to date. Rooms were quiet and outside noises were non- existant.Breakfast was great and there were choices. I enjoyed the teas and brown sack lunches you could take to work. I was there on business and did not have a choice on the stay but it was fantastic.

Convenient to the water front and central area of Bath. Very clean, good staff, OK breakfast ( pretty standard Hampton fair). The room was quiet and comfortable. A nice waterfront restaurant is across the front parking area. Easy to get to shops, bookstores, and the Maritime Museum.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. I am always greeted warmly by the staff. The rooms are clean and inviting. I will continue to stay at this hotel. It has become my home away from home in Bath. ME.

We feel fairly qualified to rate Hampton Inns since we've stayed in over 30 in the US and Canada. We'd put this one in the top 20%. Great location, professional and friendly staff, and spotless rooms. The Hampton brand is consistent and we're finding we actually sleep better here than at home. Our only disappointment was lack of cookies upon check in. We're finding some Inns have stopped on weekends and others have stopped altogether. NOT a good trend for us cookie lovers!

A step above the average Hampton. Hampton Inns are my go to when traveling and this one did not disappoint. A caller comfortable room, comfortable bed fro goon night sleep and it was quiet. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn, but it is free. The staff was very helpful with advice on Restaurants and very friendly overall.

Just convenient and everyone on staff was so friendly and willing to help and smiles from everyone. This is our go to hotel whenever we visit Maine and need to enjoy ourselves. Beautiful view of the river and even with construction on highway 1 and roads around the hotel nice quiet and relaxing evenings and nights.

Clean and practically new hotel. Very friendly front desk staff. Rooms are gorgeous and the price is right. There are many eateries located in the area as well and the hotel is 15 minutes from Wiscassette Maine. Love this hotel.

Bravo to the staff and Inn overall. The ease of checking in and out was superb. The complimentary breakfast was good but lacked a couple of gluten free choices for those who have Celiac. The Inn is very convenient to the main street area's of Bath and the local restaurants were very good. Local folks who run the shops and restaurants were very friendly.

The Hampton Inn in Bath is a convenient, friendly and wonderful place to stay in Maine. We used our hilton honors points. Breakfast offered something for everyone from yogurt to eggs, breakfast meat and make your own waffles.
