Almost perfect new facility! Clean, modern, comfortable, everything you expect from a Hampton. The in room heat / ac thermostat had a blue lumination to it that was as bright as a full moon in the room. I'm too old to need a night light! Cover the thermostat and it would have been a perfect stay.

Staff was friendly, my room was clean and spacious. Used the on-line check-in and saw a room set aside for me that I was not happy with. I called the hotel and they moved my room. Very good experience.

Stayed for business, well-run hotel with very good amenities for the price. Pleasant and helpful staff, very clean room with a good size. Excellent location for business in Augusta. All-in-all a pleasant experience and I would recommend the hotel highly.

Clean, quiet hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Right off the interstate, yet a couple of blocks so one doesn't get the traffic noise. Hotel sits off the main street and is very quiet. Great parking. Very pleased with stay

Clean, comfortable and welcoming staff. One of the best Hamptons I've stayed in. Would highly recommend this hotel and try Margarita's the Mexican restaurant next door. The chicken fajita's are great.

Yet another Hampton Inn to add to our travel experiences (might be close to 30 different ones). Their standards continue to impress us. Always clean, well-manicured property, friendly staff, and a good value. Augusta is no exception. We will continue to seek Hampton Inns wherever we travel. Our only discrepancy in this particular one was the fresh fruit offering at breakfast. It was not fresh - it was frozen, and today it was still frozen! Too cold to eat.

Hampton Inn has always provided consistent quality at a fair price. The Augusta location was great. Very friendly and helpful staff, who always smiled and asked how I was doing, while answering all my questions. Clean and comfortable rooms.

We stayed at this hotel. Was clean close to a restaurant. Food was good. Drinks were very expensive. Room was nice but no dark curtain to pull sun was up at 5 am and so were we. Need better window coverings

Both the common areas and the room were especially nice for a Hampton Inn. And it was nice to just walk next door to a Mexican restaurant. It's not a vacation destination, but overall it was a good choice.

This is a very well operated Hampton Inn. It was full of business travelers but the staff handled everything in a very efficient manner. I was quite pleased with the Neutrogena products in the bathroom, and the layout of the room, and furnishings were all very nice. Had a good sleep both nights I was there. The free breakfast was most adequate. The nearby restaurant, Margarita's is a surprise treat, very good for a Mexican place in Maine for goodness sakes. All in all, quite a nice motel/hotel.

Clean rooms and a friendly, helpful staff make this Hampton Inn a good buy. It's located just off the highway and convenient to restaurants and local shops. It's cookie-cutter, but predictable. Awful breakfast -- even for free!

I travel nationwide in the US on business which can become tiring. However, when I show up in Augusta at the Hampton Inn, I receive the type of down-home hospitality that instantly relaxes me. I sleep well; I wake up to a hot breakfast; if I oversleep there's a breakfast to go for me. The rooms are kept immaculately clean by a friendly and dedicated housekeeping team and everyone from the front desk, to the kitchen to the maintenance staff is friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, easy in, easy out, brand new, elegant accommodations. Staff very friendly, rooms spotless. We had a "girls night out" and chose this location because it is located directly behind Margarita's Restaurant. No worry about driving after a few adult beverages. The complimentary breakfast was more than sufficient offering choices including warm items. Excellent value.

Good solid, if charmless, choice for travelers seeking a clean room with a good bed and not much else. Front desk staff was chipper. Breakfast was disappointingly spare including coffee station, really dreadful eggs, and breakfast cereals with no meat offered.

We arrived late in the evening last week just as a thunderstorm also moved in. While rushing to get inside, my wife tripped over a sprinkler head, which was extended and (curiously) spraying during the downpour, causing scrapes, bruises, and, by the next morning, a swollen wrist. The problem was that the sprinkler was set at an angle and stood at a sharp slant over the sidewalk. When brought to the attention of the manager, Virginia, the next morning, we were pleasantly surprised by her attentiv... Read more

Stayed here for 4 days. Opted for a third floor room to avoid noise from up above. Rooms are clean and average size. No suites at this hotel. 2 nice size elevators with no wait. Clean common areas and outside area. Only complain would be the lack of laundry machines. They have one washer and one dryer crammed in a VERY small room for a 90+ hotel facility. Another hotel guest monopolized the laundry room from 5 pm on, and I could not get my laundry done since it closed at midnight. Breakfast was ... Read more

We stayed here while visiting family and friends in the area. Our late night check in was smooth and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had a crib already waiting in our room. Our room was spacious for a standard room and quite clean. The staff was always friendly. The free breakfast was fresh and tasty, and the dining area was always tidy. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Augusta.

My mother and I were very satisfied with our stay at the Hampton Inn in Augusta. We were not expecting it to be as clean or newly refreshed. We were very happy with the staff who greeted us, room in general, the sheets and the bedding - the shower head and the bathroom amenities (although, I think the shampoo and conditioner could be a bigger size) as well as the workout facility and equipment (although the room itself was a bit too hot!) - and the breakfast buffet. We have stayed at many Hampton Inns and are never disappointed. Their rooms are always comfortable and we got a good night's sleep on the bed! It is well-designed for the traveler offering a compact kitchen with microwave and refrigerator. The front desk staff was friendly and cordial. Breakfast always offers hot and cold choices and is usually well-maintained. This is one of the nicer hotels in Augusta and was also very clean! It seems to be well-run by management.

This is a nice, fairly new Hampton Inn just off I-95 in Augusta, Maine, just a few miles from the capital building. The rooms are large and clean ... and our room had a large walk-in shower in place of a traditional tub. The breakfast area (buffet breakfast is included in the room rate) is large and well lit, and the selections are (while not fancy) good enough for a good start to your day. On the other hand, the price seemed very high (~$170 for a Sunday night in August) for this type of hot... Read more

This is a new, very clean, quiet hotel only a stone's throw from an interstate exit, and handy to the commercial main drag of Augusta. The hallways were wide. The breakfast area was clean, and more spacious than many others I have been in, well-serviced, and with a moderate number of selections. The oatmeal was much better than other chain hotels. Always a pleasure to stay at a new hotel: everything's clean and everything works. Comfortable room - nothing fancy, but certainly adequate. Same applies to the breakfast included in the price of the room. Small gym & small pool, but still a bonus as I wasn't expecting to find either. Good location if you're doing business in Augusta. A little pricey relative to what you get, but not way out of line given the condition of the facilities.

Nice hotel, but the room we were in, was so messily made. The pillows were more or less thrown at the headboard, the comforter at the bottom of the bed was just there, not folded nicely. Otherwise it was clean, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was adequate, the usual what Hampton serves.

For the most part I like Hampton Inn's and would repeat at any of them. The same can be said for this location but I felt it was just a little below par. It needs refreshing in a couple of areas. Over all it was pretty good. Breakfast at Hampton is much the same at every location -good- Kudos for the pillows and towels.

We stayed one night using Hilton Honors points, and it was very comfortable--but not quite as good as our stay at the Hampton Inn, Bangor. The staff was friendly and our room was comfortable, but not as large as the one in Bangor. Note that Room 321 in this hotel is at the back, and just across the lawn is the outdoor dining (and drinking) patio of Margarita's restaurant.
