We are truck drivers that decided to get a room and stay here for my dad's birthday. When we came in, it was late and the room smelled bad. When we went into the bathroom there were seven cockroaches crawling on the floor. There was hair all over the bathtub. Hair and dirt in the sink, and something bit my dad in the night. There was even a long black hair folded up in the towels. We paid $83 for a room like this. When we went to talk to the front desk about it, all they said was we should have ... Read more

Room was in dire need of repair, bedding appeared to have not been laundered and toilet and tub had water stains, or I hope they were water stains. Towels were dingy and paper thin. I believe this was the worse hotel that I have ever stayed at.

I'm 69 years old and have traveled a lot and stayed in many motels and hotels, and this one has to rank very close to the bottom of the barrel. Never again. It is a little bit cheaper than most, and rightfully should be. Looks as though it should have been demolished many many years ago. Service was just as bad as the physical appearance of the place inside and out. Stayed there because everything else was booked. Never again. Rather stay in a hedge bush outside. Stay away if at all possible.

I arrived in W. Monroe for a 2 day work project and violated my #1 rule of never traveling without hotel reservations. I arrived in town about 11pm and was getting a little panicky as I ran thru my list of hotels only to find EVERY one booked for some kind of a ball tournament. I finally got down to this property (at the bottom of the list) and they had a few rooms available. I weighed sleeping in the truck vs ABVI and made the reservation (with reservations based on it's reviews...). It's n... Read more

room was okay. definitely not the best. property is run down. breakfast is cereal and sweets. i don't call that breakfast. to tell you the truth, the problem is the people here in this town. they are nasty. if i were you, I'd snap my duck warehouse picture and head on down the road. i didn't feel safe at all in this town. can't imagine why the robertsons stay!
