Restaurant: food and service sub-par compared to other Hilton Gardens Inns that we frequent. Guests had to bus their own tables in order to dine. We inquired whether they were short-staffed. Stated they were not. Food quality was just average. Had to request flatware. Staff seemed to be overwhelmed with service needed.

Great hotel, good location, staff very friendly, and the rooms were very clean. There are restaurants nearby for your family to dine, and not far from the casinos. I will most definitely stay at this location again.

We stayed here coming and going on this road trip. We slept so well the first stay that we stopped at the same hotel on the return and asked for a "handicapped accessible" room this time...same price without a reservation and the second room was more spacious. Same quiet night, can't believe the noise outside stays outside...only complaint is room service could not fill our attempted order because the computers were down unless we had cash...we went to Whataburger in the rain for a significant... We were visiting Shreveport for our son's sporting event and stayed at this Hilton Garden Inn. The plan had been to stay in a closer hotel to his house, but those hotels were full. Turns out that this was the best thing that happened! Great service! Great meals! Friendly staff! Comfortable room! Easy location to get to the other sites in Shreveport.

Overall, stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was relaxing and pleasant. Highly recommend this property for its Quality, Convenience to downtown, and its nearby Amenities (plenty). Staff was very good (Krystal was a model front desk staffer). Facility was pleasing. Hotel has to make a couple small tweaks to rate all 'excellence'!

This hotel was very accomodating to our needs as a small convention where everyone was staying at this same hotel. There were no complaints about us making too much noise or losing our keys. We were made to feel very welcome.

We simply pulled off the interstate at the point of needing rest and happened upon this hotel. After a quick check with online pricing, we were very pleased to be given a room at less than online quotes. The room was spotless and very comfortable. All expected complimentary items were there except a free breakfast. Check in was quick and painless. We highly recommend this stop.

Traveled to attend a family reunion. Upon arriving the property had no water due to a leak. The front desk and manager did a poor job of addressing the issue. When the front desk employee was asked for a rate adjustment she went to ask the manager. The manager should have addressed the issue with us instead sent the answer back as no due to the "accident" nature of the leak. I can appreciate the reason for answer however I believe the manager should have addresses it personally. The property did... Read more

This is an older HGI - in need of a major improvement. I was supposed to stay a week, but on the Tuesday of the week, there was an area power outage. I returned to the hotel about 5 pm, was told that the power outage might last until 8 pm or so, and used this is an opportunity - to escape to a Residence Inn. There were no emergency lights in the stairwell during the power outage to reach my hotel room - a staff member was propping open the fire doors and tossing glow sticks down on the land... Read more

This hotel is very clean and all the staff were helpful and went above and beyond to help the morning breakfast was a little confusing as it is not complimentary and how it is arranged is very confusing but my opinion is why not just include it and if you need that extra five bucks for breakfast charge it--makes it so much easier otherwise pool was clean and nice and the rooms were great large and clean staff was always willing to help and answer questions

I called the hotel directly to book a room. The booking process was way more complicated than it needed to be and then she transferred me to a sales pitch making it sound like it was a mandatory part of the confirmation process. Our room had obviously not been vacuumed from the previous guest and the indoor pool deck was very dirty and extremely slippery, even when walking very carefully. The rooms are very clean and nice. We feel very safe inside the building and I never worry about my vehicle in the parking lot. There is always something wrong every time I stay here. During recent visits, I run into no coffee, no ironing board, no iron, no coffee again, and this time no hot water.
