"Location was great! Room was decent. Linens were clean and replaced daily. Staff was great - friendly, willing to help. However, would have instructed the cleaning staff a little better - basics were fine, but baseboards, tiles, corners looked like they hadn't been scrubbed in quite a while! The whole hotel looked like it just needed a good spring cleaning! (Though I have found that most hotels skimp on these details!). Carpets were worn and needed replaced. On the bright side - location was great and within easy walking distance to the Fr. Qtr. and it had a nice ambiance to it. Small courtyard was pleasant for an evening, but wouldn't have ventured into the pool as it needed a bit of bleach! Would stay again if the price was right."

"Loved this hotel! best value and location of the several times we've stayed in NOLA. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 on a couple of the categories is that the carpeting could probably use updating (a bit old & worn) and the pool could use a re-glazing; also the elevator seems like it could use some work (but it was clean!). Otherwise our room was nice (small like most rooms in the city boutique hotels) and the staff was ultra friendly and helpful. A few folks have mentioned the motion-sensing AC, but once you figure it out you can figure out how to keep your room at a temperature you like. We'd definitely stay again."

"THIS COULD BE A PERFECT PLACE WITH A FEW IMPROVEMENTS, THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL BUT THE ELEVATOR BROKE DOWN TWICE DURING OUR STAY THE LOUNGING POOL NEEDED SOME CLEANING & REPAIR OVERALL FOR THE PRICE WAS A LOVELY PLACE NOT A FAR WALK TO THE FRENCH QUARTER (COUPLE OF BLOCKS) REALLY CLOSE TO HARRAHS & CANAL STREET"
Posted: Tue, Feb 28, 2012"We loved the hotel. The courtyards are the best. Chophouse music was a bonus. Service was incredibly smooth and congenial. Room 316 needs plumbing help but it was taken care of consistently. Our other room had no problems. Highly recommended"

From the West follow I-10 to New Orleans/Slidell. Exit Poydras St (234B) continue and take left on Camp St. Take a right on Gravier St. then right on Magazine St. The hotel is on the left hand side.
From the East on I10
From Slidell/East New Orleans follow I-10 going west. Take the Canal Street Exit (235B) and take a right toward Magazine St. Turn right. The hotel is on the left side.
From the West on I10
