"Lock was broken at check in. Maintenance man was great and arranged to upgrade our room with the desk. The location of this hotel is great. Easy streetcar access and walking distance to everything. Rooms are basic and nice. My only complaint is the matress was lumpy and you heard springs popping when u moved. The complimentary boat trip is nice."

"Well, when I arrived there was an issue with my reservation (room size). Once the problem was corrected, they forgot to charge me for a night...which I was billed for separately. Another issue I experienced was that the housekeeper(s) did not speak English. Luckily, I had a friend on speed-dial that could translate my request to the housekeepers (via speaker phone). Depsite that, my overall stay was pleasant!! My room was very spacious, with the exception of the bathroom. In my opinion, the bathroom was rather small. The ladies at the front desk and the valet drivers were VERY friendly and VERY professional. No matter how busy they were, they always greeted everyone (with a smile) as we entered and exited the hotel. AWESOME staff!!!!"

"Very nice experience and very reasonably priced boutique hotel. The rooms were a bit small but updated and well kept. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating in every detail.Certain staff members were especially helpful in providing information about restaurants, etc. The location of the hotel is perfect and has a convenient railway stop. PJ's coffee shop and bakery is definitely a plus! This will be our new destination hotel in New Orleans!"
