This New Orleans hotel features 500 guestrooms that face either the streets of the French Quarter or an inner courtyard, and many have French doors that open onto balconies or patios. "This was my second trip to NO staying in the French Quarter. This hotel is the perfect location for you if you enjoy being in the centre of the amazing french quarter. Directly opporsite an excellent Jazz bar with live music and resonably priced drinks and food. The rooms are varied in size, cleaned and checked to a high standard. The pool and court yard are also clean and tidy, provide sun screan and towels along with a bar area where staff are friendly. The staff who assist with bags and general door enquiries were welcoming and keen to help. However 4 of oour party members had undesirable conversations with reeption staff. They were blunt, direct and sometimes rude! If you can rise above this then this hotel is the perfect one for a stay in NO"

"My family and I had an 'amazing' time in New Orleans! We've been to New Orleans 3 times in the past 2 years, it was our fist time staying at this place and by far the best hotel. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the staff was very polite and helpful. The best part is the hotel is located on Bourbon St. and it seemed no matter where we went the hotel was always so easy to get back to...which is what you want when partying on Bourbon :-) Will difinitely again!!!!! Thank you for being part of our memorable trip to New Orleans!!!!!!!"

"The staff, from the front desk to cleaning personnel, were all friendly and helpful. It is a beautiful hotel with handsome rooms. It was very quiet despite the fact Bourbon Street's noisy mayhem was just outside the windows....not a problem! Our loveliest surpise came at checkout when we were expecting a very hefty parking bill for four nights but were charged only one third of the predicted cost...whew! It had something to do with our length of stay and the way we were billed, I believe. Thanks for a great stay. We'll be back!"

"Our stay at the Royal Sonesta in New Orleans was awesome! The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the French Quarter walking distance to all the sights and sounds New Orleans has to offer. The property is clean and the rooms are well appointed. The staff at the hotel is extremely helpful and curious as well. We has some initial issues with the BookIt credit that was supposed to be applied to our nightly stay however the hotel was very helpful and worked with BookIt to get this straightened out . We would absolutely come back to stay at the Royal Sonesta hotel in New Orleans!"

I-10 East
1) Traveling from the Airport on I-10 East follow the signs to the New Orleans Business District and continue to follow 1-10 East toward Slidell.
2) I-10 East - exiting on the Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre exit.
3) Orleans Avenue becomes Basin Street as it curves toward the French Quarter.
4) Make a left turn from Basin Street onto Conti Street.
5) Follow Conti Street into the French Quarter.
6) The entrance to the hotel`s garage is located on the right immediately after crossing Bourbon Street.
I-10 West
1) I-10 West by exiting on the Orleans Avenue/Vieux Carre exit and turning left.
2) Orleans Avenue becomes Basin Street as it curves toward the French Quarter.
3) Make a left turn from Basin Street onto Conti Street.
4) Follow Conti Street into the French Quarter.
5) The entrance to the hotel garage is located on the right immediately after crossing Bourbon Street.
