"My husband and I just returned today from the Royal Sonesta New Orleans and loved every minute of it. It was our first time in New Orleans and aside from the city itself being amazing the Royal Sonesta really sealed the deal. Awesome location if you are looking to party it up on Bourbon Street. Beautiful rooms and lobby. My only complaint is that I ordered online from the virtual amenities list prior to our stay as a surprise for my husband and ended up having to call and check on my order. However, as an apology for their mistake, they also sent an additional bottle of champagne. And, I am writing this review because I was actually checking prices for the spring so we can go again."

"I generally don't fill out these surveys but I had to on this occasion. I was recently married June 2009 and my wife and I decided to honeymoon in New Orleans. Many friends tried to discourage us from vacationing in New Orleans for whatever reasons, but boy were they wrong!! The trip to New Orleans was AWESOME and the stay at the Royal Sonesta Hotel closed the deal. From the time we arrive and from the time we left, it was all A-plus treatment. We reserved a room on the R Club Level (strongly recommend) which nearly brings me to tears the way they treated us newlyweds. Champagne and rose pedals on the bed (Need I say more). While hanging out at the pool, we met a couple 60 yrs old who told us that this was their first stay at this particular hotel also. They further explained that they have been vacationing in New Orleans for over 40 years now and the Royal Sonesta was, so far, the best hotel in New Orleans in their opinion. I strongly recommend this hotel and please don't forget your SPF 45. I hope your stay is just as enjoyable"

"Gorgeous hotel, perfect location and one of the best roof-top pools in the French Quarter. Our family goes to Jazz Fest every year and this was our first time at Royal Sonesta. We loved having the Jazz Bar, Oyster Bar, beautiful courtyards and lobby all in one luxurious hotel and right on Bourbon Street! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back here next year."
