A Recent Traveler from panama city beach, florida had this to say:
"We had a great stay at this hotel ; the beds were comfortable and the front desk service was friendly. We got checked in quickly. Parking was not a problem but make sure to tip the valet. Bathrooms are not that great, but clean. A good deal for the money - I have stayed in hotels all over New Orleans, and this is the best deal I have found. A cheap cab ride to Bourbon Street, but only 4 blocks to walk. Valet parking is friendly as long as you tip! Concierge took our luggage up also; Once again make sure to tip!"

D. Joiner from New Orleans, La had this to say:
"When arriving, was told that we had no room. We received an email from bookit, and a separate one from hotel stating different confirmation numbers, but hotel was overbooked. So, they split our party into two single rooms. One room was clean and small, the other was having maintenance issues in the bathroom, and was too small. Dont bet on breakfast. Coffee and muffins will dissappear quickly, and they do not put more out. Our remote for our car was stolen off the key ring while we were there, and we are waiting for them to replace it. Manager was nice, but front desk staff never smiled or was courteous in the least. One sweet older man who brought our luggage in was the bright spot all weekend. Stay only if you dont need breakfast, and will only stay a night or two. No microwave or fridge in room."

A Recent Traveler from Ann Arbor, MI had this to say:
"I was very happy with my stay at the Queen and Crescent Hotel in New Orleans. I have stayed in many New Orleans hotels and have a half dozen that I will I return to. I was a bit hesitant at first since I always stay directly in the Quarter. Not anymore. Due to the incredible value this will be high on my list from now on. This hotel is just off the corner two blocks from Canal Street. The first thing I noticed was how genuinely helpful and professional the receptionist was. I was in the other building (there are two) and I was impressed with the quality of the room. The bed and furnishings were terrific. The entire room, including the bathroom was super clean. There was no hint of the wear and tear, lots of use, condition of the typical New Orleans room. The same goes for the rest of the property, which has nice paintings and quality furnishings in the public spaces. I had a nice corner room with an interesting shape. The room was a typical size (small side) for New Orleans. I got free parking with this site (used the Mystery Hotel option). The free parking raised the already high value I got for this price. It was such a good overall value I did not mind paying their extortionist mandatory fee for phone use and internet. This hotel skips some of the amenities like an array of toiletries and good breakfast. You will see that a free continental breakfast is offered. You can just write that off. It was the most perfunctory breakfast imaginable. Still, I was thrilled with this hotel. I recommend it without hesitation."

Amy from Harrisburg, Pa had this to say:
"I had booked it due to the great rate. I was happily surprised that it was as good as the Crown Plaza we had stayed at on our last visit to New Orleans. The room at the Crown Plaza were the same quality as Queen and Crescent Hotel. Our room was clean, there were plenty of towels. The staff was friendly and helpful."

laura from jackson, ms had this to say:
"We stayed here for a football game in 2007 and the location was unbeatable. The price was half of what other friends paid for their hotels in the area. We will definitely stay here again, because we like having money left over to spend on food and shopping."

Harriet from Missouri City, Tx had this to say:
"Our room, in the second building, was very nice. Not big, but full of character. My big complaint is that there is no thought given to service here at all. Long line at check-in and only one desk person. The 'light' continental breakfast is coffee and small muffins. They're put out early and not replenished. Breakfast is until 9:30, but if you get there past 9:00, no little muffins and, probably, no coffee. Fortunately, that's not why we stayed there. Call the desk late at night and no one answers. That's a problem. Tried to leave my car with the valet Saturday night around 11:00. He said 'No more spaces' and walked away. Then he got into a verbal fight with some guy who parked on the street. I went to the pay lot and paid for my 'free' valet parking. Knowing what I now know, I'd probably only stay there if I didn't have a car with me. By the way, this website has the best deal on this hotel. But check around; the prices were very varied."

Robyn Tyler from Baton Rouge, Louisiana had this to say:
"The wilted and dead flower arrangements in the lobby should have warned us that attention to detail was not going to be a strong point. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, but our room was not as advertised - there was no refrigerator/minibar and the coffee maker did not include coffee or condiments. The location was very close to many New Orleans attractions. This could be a very nice hotel with a thorough cleaning and maids that did more than just make up the bed. As it is, I don't think we will be returning nor can we recommend it."

A Recent Traveler from baton rouge, LA had this to say:
"My husband and I booked the Queen and Crescent for a Wed night trip to New Orleans. We paid $59 for the room which included free vallet parking and breakfast. For the price, we were pleased overall. It was a couple blocks from the French Quarter, so plan on doing some walking if you stay there. Since it is more in the business district, you will find yourself walking down empty streets. If I were alone, I would not feel comfortable. The Queen and Crescent hotel is actually split into 2 separate buildings. The newer building has the front desk and small lobby. We were booked in the older building. You use your key card to open the front door to the building. There is no staff stationed in this building that I ever saw, although, there are lots of surveillance cameras. The room was on the small side. It was nothing special, but we didn't expect much for the price. The room looked clean, although, there was still garbage left in the can from the previous guest. The only complaint I would have about this room is that the glass on the old windows were the thick white frosted kind that you couldn't see out of. The only way you could tell what the weather was doing was to go down to the lobby and out the front door. The newer building has new, clear windows, so I would request that building next time, if possible. "

Santos from Hitchcock, TX had this to say:
"This was are first experience with your Hotel and the Staff (Desk Clerk, Valet, etc) were none too friendly or informative during our four-day stay. The room had no mat for the shower until the day of check out and the ice machine on the 12th floor was dirty. As a visitor to your establishment, I say I was very displeased. Though I was there for the city culture, HOSPITALITY is not one."

Chris from Arlington, TX had this to say:
" We just returned from New Orleans and I have to say this was probably the best trip we've had there yet! The hotel was great! I had read some reviews of the hotel before going there (and after reserving/paying for the room) and got very worried. I was most pleasantly surprised. The staff were great, the room was clean, and the location was EXCELLENT and in walking distance to everything we wanted to do! And- our VALET parking was free! We were even allowed to leave our vehicle there after we checked out to go eat some lunch & do some last minute shopping. Will definitely stay there again! I highly recommend this place!"

A Recent Traveler from NYC, NY had this to say:
"My stay at this hotel was great. The staff was very accommodating, and the room, although it was in another building was beautiful. The decor and bed was the most comfortable that I have slept in, in a long time. Kudos to the staff for making my first trip to NOLA most memorable."

A Recent Traveler from Picayune, MS had this to say:
"We were very disappointed with Queen & Crescent Hotel!! Upon arrival we had requested 2 double beds and were given a king, which is fine for a couple but I was staying with my sister! The parking was supposed to be free valet & when I got back to the room at midnight I was told that the lot was full and they would park my truck 'down the street' and charge me $15.00. Well that wasn't what I assumed free valet parking was going to be. We I ended up going to the room to collect our bags and went to check in at another hotel. My truck was NOT going to be left on the street with $5,000.00 rims & tires at my own risk."

Charles from Eureka, California had this to say:
"Have stayed at the Q&C twice several years ago. 1997,1999 ? Both visits were exceptional. The location is excellent and fairly quiet and near all the important things of New Orleans. The staff always treated us respectfully and the rooms we had were attractive and spotless. We have recommended this hotel several times."

barnhart from spring , tx had this to say:
"The hotel staff was very rude. They didn't care if you wanted anything from an extra pillow to a cup to drink your coke from, they just replied sorry we can;t help you. The tv reception was bad, meaning we could only get 3 channels that were still fuzzy. The decor was nice, but it just didn't look like it was kept up. There was no internet connection, we had to use the Sheraton's, when we could get a signal. Overall if you want a cheap hotel you found it, but be warned you get what you pay for."
