Hotel Storyville
Located two blocks from the French Quarter with all its old-world charm and world famous restaurants, Hotel Storyville is a small, intimate, condominium-style resort. Hotel Storyville is a turn of the century-style mansion with 9 individual condominium ``beach`` style apartments located in the heart of the Treme` Neighborhood, one of the oldest and most historic neighborhoods in the United States of America, and the place that many consider to be the birthplace of jazz. The name Storyville refers to Sidney Story, the former New Orleans politician who legislated that a portion of Treme` be designated as a separate district. Thus, Storyville was born. This area was known for many things, principally being the ``red-light district,`` and also the place where jazz first really flourished in New Orleans. Although jazz was popular city-wide, the establishments of the Storyville District were known to always have a piano player or a small band in house. The Hotel Storyville is one of the elegant mansions that remains from this era, and despite the neighborhood`s changes over the years, the spirit of old Storyville can still be felt.
Hotel Storyville is a clean and quiet property with NO smoking and NO pets. Although it sits in the middle of Historic Treme` and the Storyville district, this hotel features something that is exclusively unique to the area - beach condominium/apartment-style guest rooms. "We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was really nice and very accomodating. The rooms were very clean and if you have any concerns, she is very quick to respond. Only a 15 minute walk and Boom you are in the heart of Bourbon St. I will definitely be back and will tell a friend."

"You cannot find a better place to have a relaxing stay in NOLA! The owner is great, the rooms are studio aparments with full kitchens, freat balcony. 15 minute walk to jackson Square through the French Quarter from the hotel. Safe and quiet.
We will stay here again and you should, too."
