"Showed up at 2:30 on Sat to check in, the told us our room was not ready but could store our luggage and got my cell number to call us when the room was available. We had 6:00pm party reservations so should be no problem. Went to the bar to have a few drinks, Micheal at the bar was superb with his demeanor and very good drinks. Checked back with the front desk at 4:00pm watched 2 other couples be checked straight in with both having King rooms, on my turn at the counter was told again that housekeeping had not got to our room yet. Went back to the bar checked back at 4;45 and still not ready. Questioned front desk as to why others are being checked in and she said there rooms were with another room block. At 5:30 was finally checked in not by a phone call but checking on it myself. Was offered 2 free drinks at the bar for my wait, but I had already dropped close to $75.00 in the bar while waiting for our room. The room was clean but small and the garage staff and bar staff vas very good. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the location is good for French Market. We missed our party as it left at 6:00 and you can't join a tour in process. I will consider them again mainly for location and the bed comfort, but only with the understanding that if room is not available at check in time that rooms are greatly discounted. This reservation was booked with Bookit."

"My girlfriend and I went down for the weekend of halloween. The hotels location was PERFECT, right in the middle of everything, and easy access to the quarter, and the interstate. The room was gorgeous, we had a great view of the quarter, the restaurants there are top notch! The buffet was the best I have had and a must! The only draw back was the valet was a little slow, but other than that, a PERFECT experience. Very romantic!"
