"The hotel is accommodating. the rooms were a little stuffy but overall it was decent for the price. Restaurant connected directly to the hotel and the rooms were clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. Very close to Xavier Univerrsity and French Quarter."

"I wis somewhat disconcerted when my reservation could not be found when I arrived. It took several minutes to finally find it. Then I was told the double we had reserved was not available and we were put in a king. I don't know how this was possible since reservations were made several weeks prior to our trip. The carpet in the hall was mildewy as was some of the baseboard areas in the bathroom. The shower curtain was ripped in several areas. Bath soap was not refreshed in the 3 nights we were there leaving us with a sliver of soap by the end of our stay. We were at the very back of the hotel and the doors leading outside were never locked leaving us feeling quite insecure. This was compounded by the fact that we could not reach the front desk from the phone in our room. Whenever we needed anything we had to walk a considerable distance to the hotel lobby to speak to a staff member. Also, the elevator in the back hall was broken. I would certainly not stay there in the future!"
