"Both the room and the bathroom were big. The bed was comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. There was airconditioning and a fridge and microwave. Also an iron and ironing board and hair dryer. Fresh towels every day. Nothing fancy but a great value for the money. Only ate the continental breakfast once since it only goes until 10 and we were out late, but standard breakfast with waffles, fruit, cereal, juice, milk and coffee. More than sufficient to start the day. Only 4 blocks from Bourbon Street and they seemed safe to walk even returning late."

"This is our 4th stay at this hotel and it suits our needs just fine. Rooms are not perfect, each having it's own quirks, but in NOLA you don't spend a lot of time in your room. Nothing major, just a lot of use. Staff is friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. It's a few blocks from the action of the Quarter, but there is enough going on en route to & fro that you don't feel vulnerable. Several bars, restaurants, and a quick mart nearby. I don't know what they charge to park, and it's easier to find a street spot than in quarter, but the only day meters don't count is Sunday. Free internet on lobby PC, but couldn't get strong enough WiFi (free)signal to connect with phone in room on 2nd floor. Free continental breakfast 7-10am has juice, coffee, cereal, biscuits, bread, fruit, yogurt, eggs, etc. Coffee 24/7 in lobby, and maker in room."
