"We stayed for 3 nights during the Essence Music Fest 2010. This hotel is in a great area and is about 10 min. from the French Quarter. It sits behind a Whole Foods grocerery and is very near a Border's, a surburban Cafe Du Monde, a Houston's restuarant, and a Target. It is not a 5 star hotel. There are no down comforters or rainfall showers, but the staff was professional, super friendly, and helpful and our room was fresh and clean. "

From I-10 WEST and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport
Head North on Airport Access Rd. and then East on I-10. Take exit 228 for Causeway Blvd. and follow the signs to head North. Cross Veterans Blvd., make a U-turn, and turn right onto Severn Ave. The hotel is on the right.
From I-10 EAST and Slidell
From Slidell, take I-10 West thru New Orleans East to I-610 West. Follow I-610 West until it merges into I-10 West again. Follow I-10 West another 2 exits to exit 228 for Causeway Blvd. and follow the signs to head North. Cross Veterans Blvd, make a U-turn, and turn right onto Severn Ave. The hotel is on the right.
