"The hotel is located in the middle of the Bourbon St. action, but inside it's an oasis from the fanfare. The staff is friendly and polite and quick to provide assistance without being overbearing and rooms are comfortable and clean. Be sure to ask for a pool view room at check-in if you don't want to listen to the goings-on of Bourbon St. at night."

"We stayed here one night on our return home from a reunion in Galveston. The property is located right in the heart of the action on Bourbon Street, but once inside the hotel you are in an oasis of quiet and luxury. Our room on the 6th floor was spacious and well appointed and overlooked the pool and courtyard. Be aware that if you use the hotel's parking garage it will cost you $40.00 per night."

"We traveled to New Orleans en route to my niece's wedding in Florida in Sept 2012. We stayed for 3 nights. It was a beautiful place. Totally unexpected once entered downtown and got onto Bourbon St. My husband and I stayed in the R Club level and had another room for the young adults on a different floor. Both rooms were perfect. We originally did have deluxe and upgraded. Super glad we did. We walked everywhere, including the riverwalk area. Hint, only the young prefer the street side. Patio rooms are awesome too. Planning another trip this year in September."
