"The hotel is in a very convenient location, it is only few blocks away from french quarter. The breakfast wasn't good at all, so my husband and I had to go out to eat. Also, the hotel automatically charged me $8.99 each day for internet service that I didn't use. If you are looking for good location this would be your choice."

"Upon Arrival the Valet and Door Greeter were wonderful. They let us know what to do from the start. The front desk ladies were great as well. Our room was on the 10th floor and the scenery was beautiful. I LOVED the feather down mattress and pillows. Never could lie down without wanting to instantly fall asleep. Morning brown bread was awesome. Minor issues that didn't even matter. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. :)"

"The room was completely dirty. The carpeting looked like it had not been cleaned all year. The toilet was running and I had to shake the handle to stop it. The alarm clock did not work and the TV was old. The bed mattress was uneven and very inadequate. I have been to New Orleans on several occasions and this was the worst hotel, by far, especially for the price. They even charged a standard fee for using their phone, although I didn't need to use it. Overall, the experience was completely disappointing, to say the least. I will have everyone I know avoid this hotel. Darrell"

"Hotel is charming, rooms fairly clean, could use a little dusting on higher places of furnishings. Good location. We stayed 5 days and the staff were very nice and attentive to our requests (very good bloody mary's) housekeeping was good w/ clean towels every day except for our last, no wash cloths.
The only problem I had was arriving back at our room on the last night to find the waist basket not cleaned, facial tissue & toilet tissue not replaced. I called the front desk (no info. in room for that, looked up number in my brochure) she stated that housekeeping was gone for the night, she had t.p. but no facial tissue & I needed to come down & get it myself."

"It's not as bad as we thought it was going to be. All the Quarter hotels were booked so we stayed two blocks away at this hotel. Small rooms but it was a quiet hotel. Great location and a good bargain for the amount you're paying."

"You cant beat the location. Central and within blocks of anything you want to do in NOLA. The staff was friendly, professional and bent over backwards to help us get a fax out when a work situation arose on our vacation. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The decor is dated but it has the feeling of being a historic, charming old world hotel. The breakfast is nothing to write home about but your in New Orleans... there's a great resturant in every block!"

"Went to Nola for a 7 day cruise and stayed here the night prior and booked the Daughine Orleans after. Although I prefered the Daughine the location was good here....short walk to great Restaurants etc. Old Hotel with smaller rooms and dated. "

"I felt like the 4 oclock check in was very late in the day I believe 2 is more the norm, The room was fine the halls could have been cleaner more attention needed to be made to the corners when vacuming, the mattress was very worn, we slept well, but there was an obvouis hump in the middle of the bed. Check in was very slow as there were only 1 person checking in and there was a line from the desk almost to the front door. Our room was quiet and we did sleep well."
