"The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. Most of the staff we came in contact with were very courteous. We did however have an issue at check-in. We arrived at nearly 6 PM, 3 hours after our room should have been ready, only to be told that it was not and that it may be 'awhile'. The front desk staff was not accommodating, and we felt that since we could not cancel as per our travel agency agreement, that we were not near top priority. We were given our keys after 7 PM. Once in the room we did relax and enjoy its quality and cleanliness."

"Only complaint w an otherwise pleasant stay was the fact that the bell man couldn't hail us a cab for dinner. Waited at least 20 min before we decided we had to walk so we wouldnt miss our dinner reservation. Seems like the hotel could figure out a better system of having a guy hail a cab for guests than standing on the curb, blowing a whistle!"

"The hotel was amazing! Our room had a king-sized bed and great shower and a decent view of the city.
The location was EXCELLENT. Literally 15 minutes from EVERYTHING. We walked to Jackson Square on New Year's Eve, went out on Bourbon Street during the week, visited Harrah's, shopped right on Canal (GREAT MALL) and even ate traditional Cajun cuisine at Mulate's. I will definitely be staying here again!"

"We had a problem when we arrivwed at the hotel. They said someone had cancelled our reservation. It took about a 1/2 hour for all this to be fixed. Then when we asked about the Complimentary Breakfast. They said there wasn't one (even though it stated on our confirmation that one was suppose to be included).. Once we got into the room, everything then went smoothly."

"Stayed at this hotel for a long holiday weekend. The hotel was very clean, convenient to everything we wanted to do in New Orleans. Staff was very warm, accomodating and professional. The doorman and concierge always made sure that they greeted and opened the door for us each time we returned to the hotel. "This hotel is fantastic. We did book this on a special rate so was well worth the money, free breakfast was awesome - set in their (formal) dining area, staff were excellent, complimentary water (2 bottles) was a nice inclusion. If I had to fault this hotel would only be the distance our room was from the elevator but this really didn't bother us. Nice little gym but didn't get time to use. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"We found the front desk staff to be particularly helpful and friendly. We had no alarm clock for the first 2 days and on the third day, our room was still not made up at 4:00 p.m. when we returned and housekeeping had to be called. A quick job was done and she forgot to leave any more coffee, cups, sugar, etc. and didn't vaccuum. On our final morning at breakfast, our waiter left a lot to be desired in service."

"My family of 8 arrived 12/19/11 to the curb of the hotel and the transmission goes out of our van. We had ages 10 to 88 yrs old. From that moment the staff on duty Sunday afternoon till Monday were a great help. The doorman/bellhop, frt. desk, valet all made our much stressful situation bearable. Thank you so very much for being so friendly, helpful, laughing and smiling with us. We had many situations to funny to mention. We made it to the graduation on time Monday. We really had a great time at the Wyndham. We made it home safe and sound in a rental car. We'll be back to N O to get the repaired van soon. Would like to stay with you again.
