Better than expected, great location, lovely staff, our room was had ridiculously high ceilings and a bed I had to struggle to climb up onto (I am only 5' 4) but we absolutely loved it! We also loved the location as it was near to everything we wanted to see and do. We were boarding a cruise ship after our 3 night stay and it couldn't have been more convenient. Also on our first we walked to Harrahs casino for their buffet lunch, which was brilliant and the perfect way to start our t... Read more

Good location close to Canal street/river. Close to a decent breakfast place, "Ruby Slippers" around the corner. Paid 179 usd for a room w/2x queen beds. Calm area and no noise at night time. Bad ventilation and large windows that did not open. Bathroom has seen better days but all in all not the worst I have experienced. Funny smell all over the hotel, all from lobby (most likely the lobby one is from some exotic form of perfume...) to opening the room door. Interesting characters in... Read more

I was there for two nights last December, although the place has a great location smell really weird specially our room and the people working there is not friendly at all. I normally don't loose my time writing negative opinions but these place was the worse point during a great roadtrip through Texas and Louisiana.

Was at a conference at the Sheraton and decided to stay here instead. Great decision and a lower rate too. The room had high ceilings with nice decor. The bathroom could use a little work, as the counter space was limited. And the Ruby Slipper cafe downstairs is a must, especially at breakfast.

This hotel is comfortable and the rooms have all you need - eg toiletries, hair dryer etc. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a former plantation house. There is no breakfast served here, but there are plenty of places very near to go for breakfast - eg Mothers just around the corner, as well as the Ruby Slipper just next door. The location is very good. The hotel is located near Canal Street and is very near Bourbon Street. However, if you are going to Frenchmen street i... Read more

Stayed here one night after a cruise. Had an interior room with 2 queens. Beds were comfy. Highly recommend the interior rooms for those that hate lights at night! Very quiet. Nice spacious bathroom. Kuering coffee in the lobby...far better than the tiny pots in the room which I never use. Parking is pricey, we were lucky and scored a free parking place for the night. Great location, It's a short walk to bourbon street, Jackson square and other NOLA attractions. Would stay her... Read more

We stayed Thanksgiving weekend. The location was good for us as we walked everywhere we went. Very comfortable bed and the housekeeping was great. The desk person on days was very pleasant and helpful with everything we needed. The night person not so much. We would and probably will stay here again.

As first timers in New Orleans we wanted a hotel that was central, comfortable and not too noisy. The Pelham ticked all of these boxes. The room was spacious, the bathroom a good size and the location great. The foyer was tiny but I didn't think that this detracted from the hotel at all. The entrance into the Ruby Slipper through the foyer was great as you didn't have to line up on the footpath outside. If I returned to New Orleans again I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Stayed here with my husband for 3 nights and had a lovely time. I've read other reviews about the no window thing, but luckily, our room had two huge windows on the 1st floor. Very charming southern decor, small room, large bathroom, kind of dark (only lamps without overhead lighting which is why I have it 4 vs 5 stars), but none of that really bothered us. Comfortable bed. Clean. Very convenient and walkable to French Quarter, WWII museum, and less than 7$ uber to other areas. Next to Ruby ... Read more

This hotel was a great little surprise, very spacious room and bathroom. Had a double room that had built in drawers and a large closet. So close to all the good spots in Nola...French Quarter, Harrah's and Jackson Square.
