The hotel is located within walking distance from the French Quarter. They have parking for $35 per night. They will take your keys and take your car to a secure location. Check in was quick. The hotel lobby is beautiful. The room (with window) was comfortable but a bit outdated. Like putting the mini fridge on top of a dresser and having a flat screen tv hanging on the wall (way up). The rooms can be fixed up and still maintain that boutique hotel charm.

This is a small hotel in a beautiful building, beautifully furnished. It's in a good location. The bed was comfortable. That's the end of the positives, unfortunately. The first, and huge turnoff, was Troy giving me a power sell on tours when I checked in, even going so far as to tell me that I only had until 8:30 p.m. to decide. It's true there's a Keurig in the lobby, but only with the chemical "creamer" and with fruit flies circling the area. The windowless room was like a coffin, nothi... Read more

We stayed in April and the people on the desk are great. Robert was wonderful, so friendly and helpful. A shout out to the person on nights too, very friendly. The rooms are very clean and bright. We had a fridge and a safe but you can get coffee downstairs in the lobby. The Ruby Slipper is close for breakfast or lunch and the hotel is in a good location. It's a short cab ride or walk to Bourbon Street or other tourist spots. it just has the old New Orleans charm that I love. Thanks!! I

This Hotel is in a great location just a short walk from all the attractions New Orleans has to offer. Our room was spacious and very quiet, so we could unwind after a long day out seeing the sights taking in the sounds and unfortunately smells of the city...(to be fare it was only a certain location that the smell was all pervading..). The staff in the hotel Keenya, Robert and Troy were very friendly and helpful when asked any questions and my wife has a tendency to ask lots of questions.. I wo... Read more

Lovely high ceiling Art Deco style hotel. Quiet street just far enough away from the craziness of Bourbon Street. Boutique. Clean. Liked it a lot. Short walk to the French Quarter. Would recommend if you are looking for something rather than a big fancy hotel.

We recently stayed at The Pelham to attend National KidWind Competition and International Wind Energy Conference. Very elegant nostalgic hotel. Clean rooms. Friendly courteous staff. Beds were very clean and comfortable. No breakfast at hotel. We ate breakfast at The Ruby Slipper right next door. Delicious and affordable for a family. USA today Newspaper delivered each am outside your room door. Plenty of brochures on local things to do and see in the lobby. Didn't get to do any sightsee... Read more

The Hotel was nice and comfortable but rooms felt tight and lobby was small, small enough you may be waiting outside to check in, the front desk lady is rude, no coffee makers in room, have to stand in line in the lobby for a small cup of coffee out of a kurieg maker with one type of coffee and your window view is of a parking lot if your lucky or of a graffiti painted building, 2 elevators both slow as molasses, valet drivers are hard on your vehicles, you have to pay 35.00 a day to park your c... My mother and I took a belated mother's day trip to New Orleans and after much research we decided to stay at the Pelham. I couldn't find a bad review and now I see why. The Pelham had all of the charming comforts of a boutique hotel, almost as if you were staying in someone's old, beautiful house. We did request an exterior room, as I wanted to have windows, so if that is important to you just make sure that is what you're booking. We had two insanely comfy, four-poster beds and we enjoyed comi... Read more

We stayed at the Pelham for two nights and it was wonderful. The room was so incredibly beautiful that it kind of look our breath away. The room was decorated with the most amazing and original dog paintings and the bed was gigantic! Troy checked us in who was just an absolute delight and so friendly and helpful. Just a ten minute walk to the French Quarter/Frenchmen Street and just off Canal Street. We walked everywhere. Great value for money.
