Stayed at this hotel for Mardi Gras. GREAT location on the parade route for night parades. Restaurant in the hotel was good (everybody loved the egg dish with the candied bacon!), and the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants, bars and local attractions. The room was a nice size, and everything was clean. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There are no negatives about this place. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Mostly, what bugs me with this hotel - is a first impression. After flying over 17h, I arrived to this hotel midnigh and was greeted by empty reception. When security spotted me, and asked receptionist from back office - very tired looking lady arrived, did not greet me but just asked, in a very annoyed tone "Do you have a reservation and is it for today or tomorrow!?" Off course I had an reservation starting the same day.. Dont know what was her issue.. Hotel itself is nice, clean and trendy, ... Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our stay. I was in staying here for a business meeting. The room was nice, clean and roomy. Loved the art in the lobby and it was great having beignets for breakfast. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel in a great neighborhood. Beds were comfy, and the room was clean. The concierge went way out of her way to accommodate us, which I know is her job, but she went above and beyond. has a small pool on the roof, with a nice hot tub. Fridge in the room. You may have to argue to have wifi comp'ed. Breakfast in the lobby was pricey.

My family went to New Orleans for a friend's wedding. The wedding party had reserved a block of rooms. Both my daughter and I called right away to reserve a room and we both told the staff what wedding party we were with. When we got there they tried to put us both on a different floor than the block of rooms reserved. Since my daughter was the maid of honor, she and her husband insisted that she be put with the wedding party. After much debating and keyboard clicking they were able to get ... Read more

We have stayed here several times. Great location, easy walk to tons of restaurants, and many attractions. 5 to 10 min easy walk to French quarter. Rooms larger than average. Valet parking is easy to use.

Enjoyed this property during Mardi Gras, originally had an AIRbnb but switched to be closer to the french Quarter. Loved the views from the rooftop pool area and the atmosphere and food was great in the connecting restaurant "L" I believe it was called. Although I spent most of my time exploring the city, when in the room it was comfortable and clean. Only spoke with the one gentleman that checked us in and he was helpful giving us a parade map. The gym was pretty well equipped, no views whil... Read more

This hotel had great views from both our room as well as the rooftop pool area. Nice amenities such sauna, fitness center, and spa services. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had comfortable beds and pillows. Hotel staff provided good recommendations for local attractions/restaurants, and tours. The hotel is in a perfect location for taking a stroll around the city. I would definitely stay there again.

Everyone from the valets, front desk, maintenance etc. was amazing. We checked in on Sunday afternoon and checked out Thursday morning. Honestly the front desk is top notch, especially Lashoun (sp) and also the maintenance team. I had a few issues with my tv and when they couldn't fix the problem they moved us to another room and were very generous. I travel to NOLA about 5 times a year and this will definitely be my go to. They definitely make you feel wanted.

This was an amazing hotel. The location was a perfect balance New Orleans city life, with the much needed seclusion for a romantic getaway. The room was clean and spacious . The view fom the extra large windows were breathtaking. Service, impeccable. The Rooftop pool was mesmerizing! Booked through priceline and they did not disappoint!

This was a wonderful hotel -- the rooms were clean, spacious, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again. It's in a wonderful neighborhood, the Warehouse District, which is on the other side of Canal Street from the French Quarter. A very nice place to walk around. There was a very loud family reunion taking place while I was there -- but that;s different from the cacophony of the French Quarter -- which is probably about six blocks away, on a well lit street ... Nice rooms, some overlooking the inner courtyard. Only 5 stories with the 5th floor housing the Gym and the small outdoor pool. There is a bar and coffee shop at the hotel. We were in a large room overlooking the inner courtyard. The large windows let light in. 3 blocks away was one of our favorite restaurants, Cochon and their sandwich counterpart, Cochon Butcher.

Rooms were large! Perfect for families. Has a pool but don't expect much. Wifi is free for Marriott Reward Members. No concierge lounge but has a VIP room for water, soda and coffee. Also some snacks. The location is perfect is you want a quieter atmosphere away from the French Quarters. Only about 15 minutes walk to the French Quarters and a 5 minute walk to Harrah's Casino. Would stay hear again.

We booked this hotel for a 4 day weekend. Check in was easy and the staff was very friendly. The staff also was very helpful recommending where to go and not to go. The beds are very comfy, the rooms are clean and spacious. Decent breakfast and great pool.

So far it is a beautiful hotel. I was informed that I could not have a microwave and refrigerator in my room so I was given a room which doesn't make sense but I was given a room with a fridge. The room is clean and staff is pleasant. The bathroom is rather small and cramped but nicely decorated with complimentary Aveda products. Things I do not like include the building and parking lot view from my third floor room. This is more of a business and convention area so everything closes at 10p... Read more

great location in New Orleans, close proximity to most districts. It felt safer and cleaner than the french quarter, plenty of excellent restaurants near by. Roof top pool was a nice touch. the only downside was the interior rooms pick up so much noise from any events/celebrations that might be occurring. otherwise excellent and friendly place to stay.

I would have to say that we found basically no negatives at this property at all. The location of the site was great for being a bit more away from the gong show that is the quarter, it is in a lot more quiet arts neighbourhood with scattered good restaurants and still a short walk to the streetcars and the quarter. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and is not that large, very easy to get around. It had some nice air conditioning pumping throughout the building for the heat we were deali... Read more

So I stayed here previously with friends even though it was several years ago I figured we couldn't go wrong with Renaissance, especially since we had such a great experience at the other nearby Renaissance. My family parked on the street because it was free and it was already late ( and parking is I believe close to $40 a night) which of course is expected in New Orleans. So the young lady that night checks us in and when we reach our room, it seems someone had already been sleeping in our be... Read more

Walking distance to everything. Nice staff , nice rooftop pool area & comfortable beds. Free cocktails in the lobby were served so that was a plus . Housekeeping were nice. Didn't get a chance to eat at the restuarant because it's pricey but ordered delivery from a few places . Some restaurants like daisy dukes deliver to the hotel.

This was my first time not staying in the French Quarter, and I would definitely choose this location again. Great location with easy access to museums and all the French Quarter has to offer but much quieter. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There isn't a club for Marriott elite members, but they do have a VIP room with drinks and snacks. Room was spacious with great natural light (think warehouse size windows). Loved that they had Aveda products. Bonus: just a few feet away from the St. Ja... Read more

I've been here for just 3 days and was a great experience. Front desk ver efficient and very welcoming, for the weather we couldn't use the swimming poll which is regular, not to big. The only thing to change i think, is the gym... 50% old 50% new. The restaurant was fine as well.
