My wife and I stayed at the Queen Anne for 4 nights and highly recommend this to anyone wishing to spend the night in Garden District. We opted for the "balcony room" which was well worth the extra money and beat all expectations. The room was right out of the 1890's with 14' ceilings and vibe that matched awesome surrounding architecture. Even had a large/old oak tree right outside balcony. Bed was very comfortable with no noise or sleep issues. The St. Charles trolly was an easy walk for dow... Read more

The Queen Anne is one of a trio of properties with common ownership and management, located within a one-block radius in the Garden District. This hotel is a converted, 1890's Victorian, with all the character you'd expect. My room was spacious, with high ceilings, canopy style bed, lots of big windows, and two fireplaces, including one in the huge bathroom (large shower, no tub). I had a mini frig, coffee maker, and good wifi service. I also appreciated the security features: your key card is ... Read more

The Queen Anne Hotel is one of several properties run out of one check-in desk. The hotel itself was beautiful, the room was one of the best I've stayed in and was quiet. Finding out where to check in was not easy (should put that on their website), and the check-in experience itself felt more like a low-budget motel than a fine inn. The staff when I checked in were not even friendly, and just looked bored. Couldn't stay for breakfast, but would recommend the hotel, if not their staff.

We stayed in one of 3 adjoining properties and thought our old mansion was the best of them. While our suite in the Queen Anne was fine, some might find the surrounding neighborhood to be a bit sketchy. That said, we had no problems coming and going at all hours. Unfortunately, the free breakfast offered was nothing special at all. In fact, we only tried it once and then patronized a good nearby cafe. This property is convenient to Canal St. and the French Quarter via streetcars, which run ... Read more

We loved our experience here. This is a great place to stay if you want to be in a less touristy area in an historic house. The room was large and clean. They have nice outdoor seating areas and a good breakfast. We would definitely come back.

After an exhausting 8 hour drive, we once again arrived too early for our reservations at 4pm. We arrived at 5:30 am and we were in luck our rooms were available and were able to check in, for an extra cost of course. But, our check in was amazing, our rooms clean and cold. Because if you know the south; it's hot as hell in September. The rooms were huge, the bathroom was stocked with lovely goodies! This jewel is in the heart of the garden district, and walking distance to and thing your heart ... Read more
