"We found this hotel after reading several positive reviews and decided to give it a try! Every wonderful thing that was said about the place was absolutely true! We arrived Friday afternoon, and were upgraded to a Queen suite with a sitting room, kitchenette, seperate sleeping area and flat screens in both spaces with cable t.v. The staff here are unbelieveable! If you care about exceptional customer service, this is the place to stay. The manager greeted us each day by our names, gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants, and met every request with a smile and no attitude! The hotel isn't brand new, but for the price we paid and service we received, we will definetely go back! A round of applause for the Quality Inn! So glad we stayed there!"

"This hotel is a very short walk to the French Quarter. While this is not a 'new' hotel, the upkeep seems to be OK, but if it matters to you, some things looked dated. The hotel offered parking at $15.00 per night, I declined and was able to find parking on the surrounding streets. There is free wireless internet and it actually had a good strong signal, so no issues there. I arrived on Friday June 8, 2012 and the night manager moved me to a suit, although I had only booked a regular queen room, Cudos to him !!

I will stay again"

"I found that the previous reviews I had read about the Quality Inn were accurate. The hotel is old, but clean. It was 4 blocks from Bourbon Street, very walkable. While the hotel is in a more industrial area that does not have lots of businesses around (due to Katrina), the Roosevelt Hotel is only a block away. I felt safe with another individual but would not have wanted to walk by myself. Breakfast was adequate (waffles were great)."

"Stayed only 2 nights in N.O. after having been on a Carnival cruise out of N.O. (to see our daughter who is working on the ship) Upon arrival at 11am we were advised that even though the room wasn't ready till 3pm, we could check in & leave our luggage securely. We were delighted to be given an upgrade to a king suite (614), Every one we met was friendly & helpful, I needed to check something on the internet and was given use of the hotel's computer straightaway. Location very good, quiet yet near enough to street cars etc. Breakfast was more than adequate, waffles made for you while you wait - lovely! Overall experience - excellent, I would definitely stay there again."

"The hotel was very nice. The employees were the friendliest and most helpful of any hotel I've ever stayed at. GREAT JOB folks!! Management should be proud. Very clean, close to local attractions. French Quarter and many nice restaurants were in walking distance. Cab companies were very friendly and timely as well."

"Had a good stay at the hotel during Mardi Gras. The hotel was close to Canal Street and the French Quarter, but a few blocks away, so we could get a good night's sleep. The Front Desk was helpful, and all the staff was pleasant. One day I did laundry and the guest dryer didn't work. The staff was happy to accommodate me and finished my laundry in the hotel machines at no cost."

"This was my first visit to NOLA and this was a great place to stay. I loved the room and having a fridge and microwave was great. The location is just outside the FQ. Wonderful! The staff had great suggestions for where to eat. Great stay!"
