I stayed here for a conference and was so happy my assistant had chosen this place. Staff members Michael and Irish took great care of me on check-in (including by switching my room when an emergency arose), and numerous others assisted me during my three-night stay. Both rooms were quirky in a fun way and well appointed. I loved having the shower amenities on the shower wall! I did not try the lobby bar/eatery. I had other plans for dining and drinking. But many others were hanging out there ... Read more

Great hotel on the outskirts of the French quarter. The service was great and the bar was lively. We stayed in the 10th floor to be away from the ground traffic as described by some reviews and had no problems at all with noise. Our rom was not turned down the first day when we arrived back to the hotel at 4:30 but otherwise no complaints!

The Q&C was a great choice for us in New Orleans. Its location just out of the French Quarter in the Warehouse District meant having a quiet night's sleep while still being close to the action of Bourbon Street and surrounds. We loved the way the designers of the hotel had respected its heritage by working with those beautiful old bones, yet providing comfortable and spacious rooms. The staff were wonderfully welcoming and friendly, too. The lounge lobby is a comfortable, cosy space to enjoy a d... Read more

This hotel was a great choice - had a meeting at the Hyatt and it was nice to be away from that hotel and near restaurants and shopping. I had a nice room on the 10th floor and it was very quiet. The staff were very, very friendly and greeted me when I came and went. There is a nice bar, but I didn't spend much time there. There were nice amenities and the coffee in the room was very good - not typical of Keurig coffee! I stayed four nights and it was like an oasis in the city. I would def... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Q&C Hotel for a quick vacation. We ate at the bar while waiting to check-in. The gumbo was the best we had in New Orleans & we tried the gumbo at 4 other places. Our room was upgraded for free because our original room wasn't quite ready yet. The room was amazing! Exposed brick, barn door covering the bathroom, clean bathroom, and very comfortable queen size bed. The hotel was great and would definitely stay there again!

Overall this hotel is EXCELLENT with a few minor issues. Staff are probably the best aspect in particular the door staff and concierge. Everyone seemed willing to help and give advice on the local area etc. The rooms are amazing. The old style building has been excellently modernized now boasting excellent luxurious facilities. One of the best things for me personally, was the extremely quiet air conditioning. The Q&C's gym was EXCELLENT and modern with a good range of machines. Pic attache... Read more

Great location. Close enough from Bourbon Street to walk to the action but far enough to walk away from it. It's also close to the Garden District and the WWII museum so you can walk there too. The historic streetcar is 2-3 blocks away. As to the really key stuff to a room - the bedding was great, the bathroom clean. The lobby is beautiful, the decor is contemporary, yet my overnight stay was one of the worst I have had in the area. We slept in a matchbox. An 11th floor matchbox. I checked in after midnight and was "upgraded" to a Skyline Room that is smaller than an average hotel room in Times Square. It was beyond cramped and the king bed looks to be a queen. It was not the hotels fault, but it was a very negative experience for us. The hotel did however compensate us for the trouble, so we can not fault them. Apart from that, the ho... Read more

Lovely modern hotel with really nice staff Irish and concierge were really great and informative. We stayed in the building opposite the hotel which is a bit weird. Rooms are lively but a bit dark, and the street noise was really loud. Nice pizza . Would I stay again - no because of the street noise. However if that doesn't bother you it's great. Location is good too. One tip. If you are over 23 yrs old don't go to bourbon street but go to frenchmen street. Great music and no yobs

This hotel is on a non-descript street between downtown and French Quarter, making it very convenient for the Quarter, Garden District, etc, etc. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful. The bar/lobby is warm and friendly, with good beer and okay pub food. Our room was designated a skyline king. I had reserved and paid for larger (300 sq ft) room, not sure if this was it. It's pretty sparse with an urban loft look - no closet, tiny (I mean tiny) bath, no chair. Views are very unspect... Read more

For the second year in a row, my wife and I went to New Orleans and stayed at the Q&C for our anniversary. While the hotel is great in and of itself, it's the people that make the difference between the Q&C and the competitors. When we arrived at 10am, the door was opened for us by a young man with a huge grin and a "Welcome". I will talk about the con first because it is the only con, however a major one. The room was very loud, and I'm not referring to street noise. This place has many nice features but lots of misfires. Waitress ignored us for quite a while. Offered turndown with cognac but then not done. Room was charming but moldy smell. Some very helpful welcoming staff some seemed to resent being asked about services or for directions.

The hotel was nice. It's newly renovated, modern. No tubs, all showers. Conveniently located. But what's the best part?? The service!! Oh my goodness... I can't say enough about every employee I interacted with - from the doorman to the valet, from housekeeping to the bartender, to the concierge. SUCH GREAT SERVICE!! Highly recommend this hotel. I've seen the reviews that said "hit and miss" or "nice hotel but staff are liars" - this was not my experience!! I could not have asked for be... Read more

Lots to like about this sleek hotel in two historic buildings. The decor is modern and a welcome departure from the usual in this city. The lobby/restaurant/bar area is inviting and the location is convenient for business. But lots of details are missed in the rooms, which need some TLC and more attentive maintenance. And it is ridiculous that they kept the original single-pane windows in the noisy central business district. Lots of traffic and siren noise through the wee hours. Fine for ... Read more

This was our 2nd stay at what used to be called the Queen and Crescent hotel in New Orleans. The 1st time we stayed there (pre Katrina), it was a nice little boutique hotel with lovely rooms and great character. The Q&C (as it is now called), has been taken over by Marriott and it isn't what it used to be. The staff are trying hard and the lobby bar is very nice, but the rooms and general public space looks tired. On our visit (5 days), our room was not cleaned or made up 2 of the 5 days. T... Issues with another hotels booking so had to find somewhere last minute on bayou classic weekend. Got lucky with this place. First treated by a nice reception area with a buzzing bar. Reception staff lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The room I was first allocated was next to an ice cooler which was very noisy. I got moved to another room no hassle, despite how busy they were. The decor and the design make it clear this is in New Orleans which is great but all the furnishings are top quali... Read more

I loved my stay at the Q&C HotelBar. Although I wasn't there for long (one night stay), I was thoroughly impressed with the hotel. It is centrally located and within walking distance to major attractions, and it has a wonderful boutique feel. The room was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated, and the staff members were super sweet and attentive. (And loved the complimentary Boxed Water!) I will definitely stay here again when I visit New Orleans in the future.

The room is perfect. Small but exactly what you need. The staff is exemplary. Kind, and made the trip extra special. It is walking distance from the french quarter although still may want to uber or lyft it at night as it was a tad far for me to walk on my own.

The hotel is in a couple old buildings that have been renovated. It is downtown and within walking distance to the french quarter. The staff must have to take a personality test. Everyone was extremely friendly, in a sincere way. Our room was average size but cool with exposed brick. The bar is fun and has a great happy hour. Slightly more expensive but worth the money.

Stayed at Q&C for a week while at a conference in New Orleans. From the second I walked through the door I was greeted with the most wonderful, warm, smiley welcome from Ashley, Irash and Max. The warmth and hospitality continued throughout the week together with their colleagues Harold, Michael, Marlon, Kendrick and all of the other brilliant staff. It was my first time travelling alone for business and they made me feel so, so welcome. I felt like I was staying with friends. Q&C is an incredib... Read more

We loved the Q&C. Super cute design and very comfortable rooms. Location is slightly outside of the French Quarter. It's about a 10 minute walk to all the action. Didn't try any of the hotel food as NOLA has so many great restaurants we needed to try! Overall a great stay, I hughlg recommend this hotel.

Good value for the dollar. Room was nice and clean although a little strange layout. Staff was terrific. Far enough from the craziness in the quarter to get a good nights sleep but close enough to take in all the action you want and still walk back with ease.
