"This hotel was everything to me! It was clean, the staff was nice and the location was absolutely perfect. The daily breakfast was nice and it was the most pleasant woman working in the breakfast area. (And what you cant see in the pictures is the cute lil outside area with umbrella tables and chairs) It was everything I could have asked for in a Boutique Hotel! We went to New Orleans as a weekend getaway and we got more than we bargained (and it was a bargain!) for. We drove and this hotel was perfectly positioned in the city. While there we visited East New Orleans, the French Quarter, and Metarie. It was no more than a 15 minute drive to either place. We walked around the neighborhood of the St. Charles area and it was very quiet and had lots of little hidden treasures you may miss while driving. This hotel is AWESOME!!"

"We stayed here 3 nights last week and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel. It is small and that is exactly why we liked it. The room was beautiful, high ceilings with hardwood floors. The breakfast was perfect and served by the most charming woman. We utilized the bus service, taxis and took our own car into 'town'. We visited some of the establishments nearby and were never afraid to walk the neighborhood at night. II highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing quiet getaway to New Orleans - close to everything!"

"What a gem is Prytania Oaks. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights for the BCS Championship game. The area is perfect for getting away from the crowds and experienceing beautiful NOLA. One block from St. Charles street car line and close to many restaurants, Magazine St, historic homes, yet not far from French Quarter action. Check-in was seamless, Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was very well appointed and clean. Great, comfortable bed, good fluffy towels, felt like staying in someone's home instead of a hotel. The HVAC provides a soundproof effect. We did not try the breakfast, but it looked varied and tasty. What an incredible value for what you pay! I would never stay anywhere else in NOLA but Prytania Oaks and will HIGHLY recommend to friends."
