My wife and I stayed 4 nights at the hotel. It is perfectly located in the Lower Garden District. It was quaint gem with nice private balcony. I hate to even review because more people will find out about this place and the rates will probably go up because of it. But I have to give the hotel it's due. I definitely will come back and stay here.

This and the other Patania hotels by the same company are conveniently located in the Garden District near the St. Charles streetcar line that you can ride down to the French quarter or uptown. The neighborhood is a little funky and has the feel of the real New Orleans. Has free parking. They are furnished very nicely. Breakfast lunch and dinner places are within easy walking distance. Easy walk to shopping on magazine street. Has a decent continental breakfast and friendly staff.... Read more

The people are very friendly. The rooms look nice and very antiquated. There is a terrible smell of mildew and the windows are so old they can't be opened. I shut the air conditioning off in the room. I hope that will help as my husband and I are both allergic to mold and I am asthmatic. I would have expected a little more for $200 a night.

It was a big old house that had been renovated into many units. The King bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very modern. They offered a continental breakfast out on the patio that was perfect for what we needed. Great location. Only 1 block from the trolley on St. Charles Street. You can catch it a... Read more

We booked the room for jazzfest. Looked appropriately like New Orleans from the outside but very clean and full character on the inside. Great for a weekend getaway. Would definitely recommend and will come again for a future visit.
