Well situated hotel. Room card key did not work couple of times -- had to return to front desk. Main door to hotel locked at night. Late arrival meant I had to wait to be let in to check-in. Shower did not work but I found that out early morning as I got ready to go to work. At check out, printer had to be fixed to print out my bill. Breakfast buffet -- limited health choices -- but this is New Orleans. Have stayed at other OMNI hotels and this one was not up to expectations.

Very quiet hotel, very near to the New Orleans Convention Center, Cruise ship port, and the Riverwalk. Walking distance to the Casino, Aquarium, and the French Quarter. Minimal foot traffic around the hotel, unless there is a convention in town. Large rooms, with old beds, that need replacing. Below average restaurant, the Fulton St Bistro & Bar. Avoid this place completely, and walk to one of the many very high quality eateries nearby.

Stayed for the night because of a function at the convention center. Walking distance to convention center. Room was nice and big but if you like to take a bath they only had a shower. Staff was nice and helpful.

First time at this Hotel. The staff here is amazing. Friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and frankly, we would have enjoyed to spend more time around them, but, alas, they were at work. Very nice rooms, and oh so comfy beds! If I had a bed like that at home, I would likely be late for work on occasion.

This was a very convenient location to walk everywhere. It was an easy walk to Bourbon Street. There are good restaurants just up the street as well as the café/bar in the lobby. We stayed here for two nights before leaving on a cruise. We actually walked to the cruise dock from the hotel too. Great accommodations.

great historic hotel in an excellent location. needs a bit of renovation particularly in the bathroom and some attention to the coffee/cafe offerings (more healthy variety, equipment up front so the staffer doesn't have to keep running back and forth from the kitchen), and it would be great if it had a pool. gym is a little small. but overall the airy open historic rooms, attentive staff, and excellent location would bring me back here anytime the rate was competitive.

Got a great price via Hotwire for a 1 night stay before paying overpriced rates in the French Quarter the rest of our stay. Very clean, still plenty of sights and places to eat within walking distance. Really not that bad of a walk to Bourbon Street, French Quarter, etc. Only complaint is the robbery that is parking prices at hotels in all of new Orleans.

Arrival was fine! But don't use Valet! My car was driven after it was parked more then 6 blocks away for 2 days! A friends car was dented and scratched in the back. Room service was a waste of time. It took more then a hour to get our food and they were not happy that I didn't tip them more then the 21% they already added to my check. My check literally doubled after I paid for all the extras. You can hear everything in the hall and the surrounding rooms! Don't expect to get much sleep here!

We were very happy with our choice of this hotel: the location, the price, the friendliness and the professionalism and support of the Concierge. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone spending time in the Big Easy- New Orleans. Near two trolley/street car lines. Walking distance to great restaurants, museums, galleries and shops. Clean and safe!

Comfortable stay near the convention center with friendly and accommodating staff. The beds were a little soft for my liking, but the lobby area was welcoming and the proximity to the convention center was a plus. Also, the street car to get the the French Quarter was an easy walk. I enjoyed being at the hotel and appreciate the Omni experience. They definitely have the most friendly and helpful staff of all the hotel chains I frequent.
